Abstract

This research is based on children's difficulty concentrating in learning. This research aims to determine the effect of learning concentration on children aged 5-6 years by using the storytelling method through picture story books. The implementation of the learning method used using the storytelling method without using interesting and varied media, makes students less interested and enthusiastic in learning activities. This causes researchers to be interested in providing storytelling methods through picture story books to help develop children's learning concentration. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a Pre-Exspremental Design (non-design) design. Sampling used scoring techniques on pre-test and post-test checklist sheets, the research sample consisted of class B4 with a total of 17 children. Data collection techniques using observation sheets, interviews and documentation. This research uses data analysis techniques, normalization and hypothesis testing, t test (real level) using SPSS version 25. The results of data analysis and hypothesis testing that have been carried out can be seen from the sig value (2-tailed) = 0.000 while 0.05 (0.00 <0.05) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected with a comparison of the average pre-test 5, and post-test 8.23. It can be concluded that the learning concentration of class B4 children has a significant influence on the storytelling method through picture story books on children's learning concentration at the Pembina South Pontianak State Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study is driven by the issue of suboptimal retention of Arabic vocabulary among young children, thereby necessitating an effective and engaging technique. One promising approach is the integration of motion and song to facilitate learning material recall and bolster concentration through synchronous physical response to the musical stimuli. The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of the motion and song method on children's ability to remember Arabic vocabulary. A collaborative, classroom action research approach was utilised, with 16 children as participants. Prior to the implementation of the motion and song method, an initial analysis indicated that the average score for children's Arabic vocabulary recall was 37%. Specifically, during cycle I, the mean percentage value was 52%, whereas during cycle II, the average percentage value elevated to 76%. After implementing the motion and song method, a noteworthy enhancement in remembering Arabic vocabulary in early childhood occurred. Hence, it is established that the motion and song method can upgrade the recollection of Arabic vocabulary in early childhood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran penting Wayang Kertas sebagai jembatan ajaib bagi anak-anak dalam menguasai keterampilan mendengarkan. Pembahasan mencakup bagaimana bentuk tradisional cerita ini menjadi sarana untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak-anak dalam mendengarkan, memahami, dan terlibat dalam cerita. Studi ini mengeksplorasi cara wayang kertas menarik minat audiens muda, menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung untuk mengasah kemampuan mendengarkan yang krusial sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi tinjauan literatur. Berdasarkan hasil studi, ditemukan bahwa: Pemanfaatan jenis wayang sebagai medium, berbagai jenis wayang dari modifikasi dan pengembangan, berbagai tujuan penggunaan, dan berbagai sasaran penggunaan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Wayang Kertas menjadi media belajar anak yang menarik dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mendengar anak.

Abstract

The decline of local culture in Indonesia is due to the heavy influence of foreign culture. So that the younger generation prefers foreign cultures. The decline in local culture is found in early childhood in the present era. So the cultivation of cultural literacy needs to be instilled from an early age at the educational level through appropriate learning models. So that when they grow up, children have knowledge and love for local culture. This study aims to describe and describe how to plan for planting cultural literacy and implementing cultural literacy in early childhood through the ATIK model at RA Bustanul Ulum Jayasakti. The research methodology is using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research location is at RA Bustanul Ulum Jayasakti, Central Lampung. This study used three research subjects, namely the principal and two class teachers. The results of the research conducted were that the RA Bustanul Ulum institution carried out planning in instilling cultural literacy in early childhood through three planning stages, namely planning for selecting activities, planning for budget costs and planning for determining activity schedules. The activities chosen in cultivating cultural literacy through the ATIK model are coloring pictures of traditional cultural clothes, traditional dances, and habituating good manners. With different activity schedules and costs incurred using BOP funds. While the implementation of these activities uses the ATIK model with 3 stages, namely children observing, imitating and doing. Cultivating literacy through careful planning and using the ATIK model makes the goal of cultural literacy achieved

Abstract

The development of domino card media at the Pembina Metro East Kindergarten was carried out because several students were not able to say the numbers 1-10 in sequence. This problem is seen when children shout out numbers together, but have difficulty when asked to name the numbers one by one. Apart from that, some children also have low numeracy skills. Teachers usually start by writing numbers without introducing symbols. This research aims to produce domino card-based learning media, testing its feasibility and effectiveness in improving the numeracy skills of young children. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, this research went through the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The validation results show that the domino card media is very feasible. Validation by media and material experts provided a high percentage, while trials with teachers and students also produced positive results. Thus, it can be concluded that this domino card media is effective in helping develop the numeracy skills of young children.

Abstract

The Process of praying Dhuha not all children who are wrong or the way in which they move or recite the Dhuha prayer, the reason is because there are children who are just cool playing alone or playing with their friends regardless of what the teacher tells them to do and cause the child not to know and only cool alone. Therefore, the role of the teacher is needed to get used to worship dhuha prayer in children. This study aims to find out the role of the teacher in the habitation of Dhuha prayer in children aged 4-5 years at RA Al Huda, Pajar Village Mataram, Central Lampung Regency. The type of reascreach with a qualitative descriptive nature. Research used data collection techniques using interviews, observation an documentation. Data sources wew taken from various informant including the head and teachers of children aged 4-5 years at RA Al Huda, Pajar Matram Village, Central Lampung Regency. Based on the result of the study, it was conclude that the role of the teacher in the habituation of Dhuha prayers in children ades 4-5 years at RA Al Huda Pajar Matram Village, Central Lampung Regency, in this section the following conclusions can be drawn : the teachers as a demonstrator, the teacher sets an example starting from the i tention of ablution, ablution movements an procedures for dhuha prayers. The teachers as class manager, the teacher provides an explantion of the reasins why the dhuha prayers must be carried out every day and the teachers is able to overcome the obstacles that exist during the implementation of the Dhuha prayers habituation. The teachersacts as a mediator and facilitators, the teacrhers prepares media that supports the habituation of the Dhuha prayers with pictures of prayrs movements, the practice of ablution, the teacers as evaluator, namely in his role the teachers carries out continous evaluators or contonous evaluation or assessments of student learning outcomes, teaching skills and also the result obtained to determine the extent to which the learining process is successful.

Abstract

This research is based on the problems found during the initial observation at RA Ash Shiddiq Group B, where children's creativity has not yet developed optimally, with most children unable to coordinate eye and hand movements. This is due to the lack of supporting media in learning activities, as the focus is more on the use of pencils and paper, as well as worksheets. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using montage media on the creativity of children in Group B of RA Ash Shiddiq Cileunyi. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research method, implemented using a nonequivalent control group design. The sample used consists of all children in Group B of RA Ash Shiddiq, totaling 28 children divided into two groups: Group B1 with 13 children as the control group and Group B2 with 15 children as the experimental group. The results of the research show that there is an influence of montage media on the creativity of children in Group B of RA Ash Shiddiq Cileunyi, Bandung Regency. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is obtained that at a significance level of 5%. Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to analyze the extent to which parents and teachers perceive early childhood cognitive development in the realm of reading, writing and nu-meracy. The purpose of this study is to describe how perceptions, practices, constraints, and things needed by parents and teachers in developing cognitive learning. Initial percep-tions embedded in parents and teachers regarding children's cognitive development will be analyzed as needed and become initial research data for the development of cognitive learning models in the following year. The research was conducted in Bandar Lampung Kindergarten, Enggal District, with 17 teachers and 31 parents as subjects. The sampling technique was randomized. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The research data were analyzed through qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the level of perception of parents and teachers about children's cognitive development was high, namely 28 people with an interval of 123-159. For the other 11 people, very high with an interval of 16-196, quite high as many as 9 people with an inter-val of 86-122 and no parents and teachers with low levels of perception. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the perception of parents and teachers about children's cognitive development generally reaches a high level, therefore this understand-ing can be used as an initial capital in the process of developing children's potential to be maximized.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the critical thinking abilities of children aged 5-6 years. This type of research uses quantitative with quasi- experimental research methods. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling with the number of samples in this study totaling 20 children and the data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Wilcoxon signed rank test. This results of the research showed that the treatment scores using the problem-based learning model and the posttest were increased by 45% for children Developing According to Expectations (DAE) compared to before using the problem-based learning model. The results of the pretest for critical thinking abilities of children who were Beginning to Develop (BD) were 35%. then the final result of the total number of children's pretest and posttest is at the Very Well Developing (VWD) stage of 80%. This shows that there is an influence from using the problem-based learning model on the critical thinking abilities of children aged 5-6 years .

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of religious moderation values that take place in the learning process in early childhood. Type of field research with a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques are data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation) and conclusion drawing/verification (drawing conclusions). The research results show that implementing the values of religious moderation is found in several learning themes, namely the theme of my environment, the theme of my country, and the theme of my work. In the learning process, the greetings take the form of versions of two religions; pray before and after carrying out activities; sticking pictures of places of worship, and singing national songs, introducing national symbols, holidays, and pictures of heroes; prayer before and after eating according to two religions; introduction to places of worship, traditional houses, and traditional figures.
