Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) plays a crucial role in creating an effective and productive learning environment. The proper implementation of HRM strategies can optimize teachers’ potential in terms of pedagogy, professionalism, as well as social and personal skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of HRM at MTs Al-Muasyarah, which still faces several challenges, such as a limited number of teachers, suboptimal use of learning media, and discipline issues among some teachers. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method through interviews, observations, and documentation, the findings reveal that HRM is carried out through workforce needs analysis, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, career planning, and payroll systems. Evaluations are conducted regularly through classroom supervision and administrative reviews, while teacher training is held 2–3 times a year to improve competencies. The implementation of these strategies has positively impacted teachers’ performance, as reflected in improved discipline, integrity, lesson planning skills, and the utilization of technology. In addition, teachers actively participate in seminars and training programs to broaden their professional insights. Thus, HRM at MTs Al-Muasyarah has proven to play a significant role in enhancing teachers’ performance both in pedagogical and professional aspects

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has driven significant changes in learning management practices, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Teachers no longer only play the role of material presenters, but also digital learning managers who must be able to design, manage, and evaluate technology-based learning processes. This research aims to understand the lived experience of teachers in innovating digital-based PAI learning management. The research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The research participants consisted of PAI teachers who actively use digital platforms in learning. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, digital learning observations, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic phenomenological analysis techniques. The results of the study show that digital learning management innovations are carried out through: (1) digital platform-based learning planning, (2) virtual management of religious interactions, (3) technology-based evaluation strategies, and (4) pedagogical adaptation to the characteristics of the digital generation. The main challenges include teachers' digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and internalization of spiritual values in the digital space. This research emphasizes that digital innovation in PAI is not just the use of technology, but the transformation of pedagogic paradigms and religious learning management. These findings contribute to the development of a contextual and humanistic, digital-based PAI learning management model

Abstract

This study aims to analyze parenting skills (parenting skills) working mothers ( working (mom ) in instilling Islamic education in early childhood in the digital era. The development of digital technology brings new challenges to the home education process, particularly in the formation of religious values in children. Working mothers, as primary caregivers, play a strategic role in guiding and providing role models, both directly and through the use of digital media. This study used a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with several working mothers with young children. The results show that parenting skills , including effective communication, time management, and wise use of technology, significantly influence the successful instillation of Islamic values in children. However, obstacles such as limited time and the influence of negative digital content also pose challenges. This study provides important recommendations for working mothers to improve their parenting skills and optimally utilize technology to support Islamic education at home

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of supervisory support and perceived organisational support (POS) on organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB), considering religiosity as a mediating variable among private vocational school teachers in Greater Tangerang. This study is important because teachers' organisational citizenship behaviour plays a role in improving school effectiveness, but the mechanisms of its formation in value-based professions such as teaching are not yet fully understood. The research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected from 217 teachers selected through proportionate stratified random sampling from a population of 476 private vocational school teachers. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modelling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 through evaluation of the measurement model and structural model, including validity, reliability, coefficient of determination (R²), effect size (f²), predictive relevance (Q²), and mediation tests using bootstrapping. The results showed that supervisory support had a positive and significant effect on teacher religiosity, indicating that supportive leadership could strengthen spiritual values in the work environment. However, SS and POS did not have a significant effect on OCB, and the religiosity variable was not proven to significantly affect OCB. Furthermore, religiosity did not mediate the relationship between organisational support and OCB. These findings indicate that

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing students’ social experiences in primary education through a contextual, experience-based learning approach. Learning centered solely on classroom activities is considered insufficient to provide opportunities for students to develop real social skills. This study aims to examine the implementation of backpacker strategies to improve students’ social experience, and the implications and challenges of these strategies at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Alam Alfa Kids. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students as research subjects. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to gain a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of backpacker strategies in learning. The results showed that implementing backpacker strategies made a real contribution to increasing students’ social participation, social adaptability, and social concern. Through systematically designed educational travel activities, students gain an authentic and meaningful learning experience. However, the program’s implementation still faces several challenges, including limited availability of companion teachers, implementation time, and the scope of activities. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the backpacker strategy is an effective experience-based learning approach in supporting the social development of students at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. This approach offers a more contextual, humanistic, and relevant learning process that meets students’ developmental needs

Abstract

The development of modern science tends to be dominated by an epistemology that places ratio and empirical experience as the primary foundations of truth, thereby marginalizing transcendent dimensions and normative values. This condition creates the need for a more comprehensive epistemological framework. This paper aims to examine epistemology from the perspective of Islamic philosophy of science by emphasizing the integration of revelation, intellect, and spiritual experience as the foundations for the acquisition and validation of knowledge within the Islamic intellectual tradition. This study employs a qualitative approach through library research, using conceptual analysis of literature on philosophy of science as well as classical and contemporary Islamic thought. The findings indicate that Islamic epistemology is holistic and theocentric, in which revelation functions as the primary normative source, reason acts as the rational instrument, and empirical experience serves as a means of verifying the reality of the natural world. The integration of these three elements forms an epistemological framework that not only emphasizes rational and empirical truth but also relates it to ethical and metaphysical dimensions. Therefore, Islamic epistemology provides a theoretical contribution to the development of the philosophy of science and to the formulation of a scientific paradigm oriented toward truth and human well-being within the context of contemporary knowledge

Abstract

The increasingly complex global environmental crisis reflects not only technical failures in natural resource management but also a deeper crisis of human values and spirituality in relation to nature. In this context, ecotheology emerges as an integrative approach that connects theological, ethical, and ecological dimensions in addressing this crisis. This study aims to examine the role of ecotheology in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a theological foundation for shaping students’ religious character in higher education. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design, incorporating conceptual and thematic analysis of classical and contemporary Islamic scholarship, as well as recent articles from reputable Scopus-indexed journals (2023–2025). The findings reveal that ecotheology functions as both a normative and transformative framework in developing students’ religious character through the internalization of core Islamic values such as monotheism (tawhid), stewardship (khilafah), and trust (amanah). This process operates through four interconnected dimensions spiritual, moral, social, and ecological which collectively foster pro-environmental awareness and behavior. Furthermore, a transformative learning approach plays a crucial role in bridging the value–action gap, thereby strengthening sustainable value internalization. This study offers an integrative conceptual framework that positions ecotheology as a foundational paradigm in Islamic Religious Education for cultivating ecologically oriented religious character. Practically, it recommends the integration of ecotheological perspectives into the PAI curriculum through content enrichment, transformative pedagogical strategies, and eco-spirituality practices. These findings highlight ecotheology as a strategic approach to nurturing a generation that is religious, critical, and ecologically responsible in responding to the global environmental crisis.
