Abstract

Good learning management so that learning has a positive impact on its recipients (students), or in other words, results in active learning. Active learning is a learning approach where students strive to acquire various knowledge during class learning, this is reflected in the increasing understanding and experience of the students, also allowing students to develop their thinking, for example, such as analytical skills. Another factor why active learning is necessary is because the times continue to develop and each person's characteristics are different, one of which is currently the millennial generation where they generally prefer to collaborate on assignments because they enjoy communicating with their friends.Research objective: To analyze students' experiences in participating in project-based learning, including aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and completion of project assignments . The method used in this research is a mixed methods method. This research is a research step by combining two forms of research that have previously existed, namely qualitative research and quantitative research. According to Creswell, mixed research is a research approach that combines qualitative research with quantitative research. Correlation shows a linear relationship between the variables in this study. Correlation between variables is calculated using the Pearson coefficient whose value ranges from -1 to +1. Positive values indicate a unidirectional relationship (the higher one variable, the higher the other variable), while values close to zero indicate a weak relationship or no linear relationship. The Quality variable, which represents overall quality, shows a strong positive correlation with several other key variables, specifically: Allianc (r = 0.955), indicating a very strong relationship, Imp2 (r = 0.844), Respond (r = 0.823). Model Explanatory Power The R-squared value shows that the PjBL variable has moderate explanatory power (17.1%), while the Response variable has very high explanatory power (100%), which means the model is able to explain the variation in respondent responses comprehensively. This emphasizes that the model built is suitable and relevant in the research context

Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped debates on access, equity, and quality in higher education, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a key enabler. This study synthesizes existing literature to examine the intersections between AI integration, digital leadership, pedagogical competency, and equity-oriented practices. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA framework, the study analyzed 69 peer-reviewed articles (2022–2025) from Scopus and Watase databases. The findings identified three main themes: expanding digital access, advancing learning equity, and improving quality through AI-based pedagogy. Significant regional differences exist; developing countries (such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand) focus on infrastructure and teacher training, while developed countries emphasize ethics and curriculum innovation. Methodologically, quantitative approaches dominate and theories such as TPACK and TAM are relied upon. The study concludes that AI's impact is maximized when combined with human factors, such as teacher self-efficacy and institutional leadership. AI is not a neutral tool, but rather a transformative force tied to ethics and inclusivity. Future research should prioritize methodological pluralism and long-term evaluation to align technological advances with educational equity

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of an Islamic Education Management Information System (ISMS) to improve madrasah administrative efficiency in the era of digital transformation. Using a Systematic Literature Review approach to ten selected journal articles from various trusted academic databases for the 2023-2025 period, this study reveals that digitizing madrasah administration through an ISMS has a significant impact on increasing operational efficiency. The systematic implementation process through the stages of initiation, elaboration, development, and transition showed a product suitability level of 90.29% based on expert validation. The artificial intelligence -based system achieved 95% accuracy in multimodal data processing, surpassing conventional systems which only achieved 80%. The system's effectiveness is proven by reducing administrative burdens, accelerating data processing, increasing information accuracy, and facilitating data-driven decision-making. Supporting factors for success include leadership commitment, adequate digital infrastructure, and human resource readiness. Key challenges faced include the digital divide, limited infrastructure, technophobia , poor internet connectivity, and budget constraints. This study recommends the development of a comprehensive digitalization roadmap , strengthening human resource capacity through ongoing training, and developing a contextual system effectiveness evaluation model to optimize digital transformation in sustainable Islamic education governance

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum requires teachers to be more independent, creative, and responsive to students' needs. However, there are still many teachers who do not have optimal competence in implementing it. This is exacerbated by the leadership of the principal who has not fully played the role of a mentor and motivator and the implementation of academic supervision which is still a formality and has not touched on aspects of professional development in depth. As a result, the process of teachers adapting to the Independent Curriculum is slow and uneven. This research uses a library research approach. The data used in this study were sourced from literature in the form of scientific articles and research reports discussing principal leadership, academic supervision, and teacher competency development. The results of the study indicate that: 1). Principal leadership plays a crucial role in improving teacher competency through support, motivation, and coaching that encourage teachers to be more prepared and capable of implementing the Independent Curriculum. 2). Academic supervision is carried out collaboratively and continuously through classroom observations, feedback, and coaching that helps teachers develop professionalism and understand the Independent Curriculum more deeply. 3). The synergy between leadership and supervision has proven to be an effective catalyst in accelerating teacher competency improvement, especially in adapting to the demands and principles of the Independent Curriculum. Thus, principal leadership and academic supervision have proven to have important and complementary roles in improving teacher competency in facing the Independent Curriculum. Supportive leadership and reflective supervision can create a learning environment that encourages teachers to develop professionally and pedagogically

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existential challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools (dayah) in Aceh post-disaster, where the 2004 tsunami and subsequent disasters like flash floods and landslides not only destroyed physical infrastructure but also shook the foundations of traditional dayah leadership that has long relied solely on spiritual authority. Dayah are required to transform into emergency response institutions and community recovery centers, yet a contextual disaster management and leadership model aligned with Islamic educational values has not been systematically formulated. This study aims to reconstruct a resilience-based dayah leadership model through critical synthesis of current literature. The research methodology employed is a literature review using a qualitative approach, drawing from books, international and national scholarly journal articles, and research reports. Data validity was tested through source triangulation, meticulous observation, and audit trails. The research findings reveal four main points: first, the transformation of the role of dayah leaders from spiritual authorities to crisis agents that broaden the scope of leadership; second, adaptive strategies in physical reconstruction and curriculum through participatory models and the integration of disaster values into the traditional Islamic curriculum; third, the internalization of resilience values such as patience, reliance on God, and communal cooperation through a 24-hour dayah education system; fourth, an organic collaborative network model between dayah, the government, and civil society that balances self-reliance and partnership. The study concludes that dayah resilience is not merely about survival but growing into a stronger and more relevant version. Implementation of the research findings includes integrating disaster training in cleric development, developing yellow-book-based mitigation modules, institutionalizing regular collaboration forums, and mapping alumni networks as emergency response hubs

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the scientific approach, the improvement of the achievement of reading and writing the Qur'an, and its positive relationship with the learning achievement of these students. This study uses a quantitative research method, based on positivism, to investigate a specific population or sample. Data collection and analysis were carried out on individuals, groups, human environments, and social institutions. The research setting was determined by establishing good relationships with informants and maintaining distance from them, creating a natural situation. The setting consists of the place, actors, and activities. This study found that students were highly motivated and had a good scientific understanding, with a high level of active participation and goal achievement. The increase in learning achievement was also high, with an increase rate of 86.70%. The correlation coefficient between the two variables was positive, with a calculated rxy value of 0.941, which is greater than the table r value at the 5% significance level of 0.361. The Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, which indicates that students with high scientific achievement will achieve high learning achievement, while those with low scientific achievement will have low achievement
