Abstract

Planning is carried out based on data obtained through mapping and identification activities carried out by educational units. The formulation of planning involves all elements, including school principals, teachers, students, stakeholders. This is done to ensure that the items or points that make up the school's program (planning) can be accepted by all parties. However, formulating a plan is not a simple activity because there are many factors that are taken into consideration and there can even be clashes of ideas or opinions about the main points or programs that are priorities in a certain period. This research aims to identify strategic steps implemented in digital-based learning planning to improve the quality of education. era of globalization. In other words, the research focus includes exploring various initiatives, such as the integration of technology in the learning process, teacher competency training, and the provision of digital learning support facilities. Apart from that, this research also aims to identify the obstacles faced in the process of optimizing strategic planning, including infrastructure limitations, and examine the solutions implemented to overcome these challenges. Researchers use a qualitative research paradigm. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation studies. The sample in the study was selected based on purposive sampling. Researchers took a sample of 20 people. They are people who are directly involved in the educational unit's strategic planning process. Research activities will be carried out in the 2024 academic year. The resuls of the research showed that previous learning at SDN Cikuya 03 was dominated by traditional methods with limited use of technology. The main obstacles were the minimal technology infrastructure and teachers' low digital competence. To overcome this, the school adopted strategies such as teacher training, the use of Google Classroom Learning Management System (LMS), and interactive learning with applications such as Kahoot and Quizizz. Optimizing this strategy has had a positive impact, as seen in the improvement of student grades, digital literacy, and active participation in learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure and variations in teachers' abilities still need to be addressed.

Abstract

In today's era of technological development, independent learning is a necessity that must be possessed by students. Independent learning encourages students to be active by having the ability and skills to think critically about changes in existing situations well. It is hoped that students are able to make a positive contribution to changes and/or solving learning problems in society. Student learning independence helps students achieve goals, skills, and expertise in learning. This study aims to develop student independent learning through the reservation method in the form of creating scientific journal articles. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The subjects in this study were fifth semester students of the Islamic religious education study program at STAI Nurul Hidayah Selatpanjang. The main instrument of this study was the researcher himself with support in the form of questionnaires and interviews made according to the established indicators. The results of the study showed that students had good independent learning abilities, this can be seen from the aspects of learning independence that they have including motivation, self-confidence, discipline, responsibility and initiative. The success of independent learning can also be seen from the changes in attitudes and abilities of students to follow the learning process, in addition it was also found that independent learning of students through the reservation method in the form of making scientific articles makes students have characters with the ability to elaborate between intellectual abilities and theoretical concepts with life in society. Independent learning is able to raise intellectual and spiritual awareness in a balanced way that is integrated into each course.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies, which play an important role among emerging technologies, have developed rapidly and have begun to be used in various fields in recent years, especially in education. Many factors cause low student learning ability in mathematics lessons. This study aimed to analyze Gen Z students' difficulties in completing trigonometric identity proofs by utilizing ChatGPT Trigonometry-assisted learning. The type of research used was qualitative research. Research data were collected through observation of student activities, direct interviews, and related literature studies. This research was conducted in SMA N 1 Indralaya Selatan. The instruments used were test question sheets and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that Generation Z struggles with basic trigonometry concepts, early solution strategies, and proper algebraic manipulation. In addition, reliance on ChatGPT often reduces students' conceptual understanding of the material. This article recommends learning strategies integrating technology and direct teacher assistance to improve learning effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the zoning system in public junior high schools in Central Lampung Regency using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. The research method used is qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation techniques conducted at SMPN 1 Terbanggi Besar and SMPN 1 Terbanggi Besar. Evaluation results show that in the context aspect, SMPN 1 is supported by a strategic location and adequate facilities, while SMPN 3 faces challenges due to its remote location and limited facilities. remote location and limited facilities. On the input aspect, SMPN 1 has better facilities and human resources than SMPN 3. On the process aspect, SMPN 1 managed to implement the zoning procedures effectively, although administrative administrative challenges remained, while SMPN 3 faced low interest from applicants. The product aspect showed that the zoning system in SMPN 1 helps to equalize education, while SMPN 3 needs more efforts to attract community interest.

Abstract

English language learning in educational units has experienced many failures. One factor is the preparation of plans that are not in accordance with the reality in the field. Planning is carried out by considering internal and external elements of the school so that in its implementation it runs smoothly and the goals are achieved. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe how planning is carried out, the strategies applied, the challenges faced, and their impact on student competence. The researcher used a case study approach with a qualitative research paradigm. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling. In other words, the sample in the study: edukita partners, class assistants, level 3 students. The number of samples was 25 people. The results of the study showed that learning planning involved collaboration between native teachers and local tutors, with a focus on integrating global insights with local contexts. The strategies implemented include synchronous learning through platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet, asynchronous access to digital modules, and gamified learning using interactive applications such as Quizizz. This approach utilizes technology to create a flexible and engaging learning environment. Challenges include technical limitations (internet access), cultural differences, digital literacy gaps among students, and different teaching methods. To address these, solutions such as technology training, provision of offline materials, and cultural orientation for native teachers have been implemented. Integrating technology with collaboration between native teachers significantly improves students' listening skills, digital literacy, and fosters multicultural understanding.

Abstract

Teachers' communication skills and digital literacy influence how they deliver education and maintain learning quality. This research examines the influence of communication skills and digital literacy on teacher performance at Al-Fatimah Modern Islamic Boarding School in Bojonegoro. The method used in this research is quantitative method to determine the relationship between the studied variables, where teachers' communication ability serves as the first independent variable (X1), digital literacy as the second independent variable (X2), and teacher performance as the dependent variable (Y). This research used primary data with questionnaires as the data collection technique administered to 102 respondents. Based on correlation tests, multiple correlation tests, simple regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis, the research results showed that communication skills and digital literacy have a significant influence on teacher performance at Al-Fatimah Modern Islamic Boarding School in Bojonegoro.

Abstract

The use of learning media is one of the efforts made by teachers in order to improve student learning achievement. However, the existence of learning media has not maximized its function in the teaching and learning process. In general, the use of learning media can be synchronized through proper management so that its function is maximized. This study aims to find and describe the management of the use of interactive learning media in improving student learning achievement at SDN Bukitmulya, Cianjur Regency. The research method uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research participants consisted of principals, teachers, and students. The results of the study showed that: (1) Management of interactive learning media carried out properly and systematically can improve student learning achievement; (2) Teachers play a strategic role as facilitators and managers of learning, while adequate technological support and teacher training are the main supporting factors; (3) Students become more active, enthusiastic, and involved in the learning process, because the learning process becomes more interesting and enjoyable, teachers also feel an increase in the effectiveness of teaching with this interactive media.

Abstract

This study is rooted in the concept of the Pancasila Student Profile initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Pancasila Student Profile describes the ideal figure of an Indonesian education graduate who has six dimensions, namely: Faithful, devoted to God Almighty, and noble character. This study aims to exploit the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SDN IBU DEWI 1 to instill character values ​​in elementary school students. This study uses a case study approach with a qualitative research paradigm. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the activity of displaying student learning outcomes is very effective in instilling Pancasila values ​​such as diversity, mutual cooperation, and independence; (2) The involvement of teachers, parents, and the school community is very important in making this program a success. The P5 program is able to improve students' cognitive, affective, psychomotor and social skills; (3) Evaluation of the implementation of the program indicates that this project-based learning method has a significant positive impact on the development of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that aims to determine the description of the Analyzing Skills Ability, towards the ability to solve problems in the subject of Natural Sciences, material on Vernier Caliper Measuring Instruments for class X, concentration of expertise TKR SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan and specifically to find out the description of the steps to solve Physics problems of students. The sample in this study was 30 students. The research instrument used was a test of the ability to solve Natural Sciences problems that have been validated for use. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the level of ability to solve Natural Sciences problems through Analyzing Skills has a positive and significant influence on Students' Understanding of Vernier Caliper Measuring Instruments in the Subject of Natural Sciences, Concentration of Expertise TKR at SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan. Analyzing skills simultaneously have a contribution of only 0.0352% towards Students' Understanding of Vernier Caliper Measuring Instruments in the Subject of Concentration of Expertise TKR at SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan, in general students are able to complete 3 indicators of solving problems, namely the ability to understand problems, the ability to describe problems, and the ability to design solutions to problems. While for other indicators, students have not been able to complete them well.

Abstract

Financing management in the world of education is an important element in improving the quality of graduates. Financing activities are carried out based on needs, both internal and external needs. In other words, learning activities experience obstacles and problems if financial support does not match the needs of the educational unit. This research aims to exploit financing management in improving the effectiveness of the learning quality of students at SDN 235 Lengkong Kecil. Researchers use a qualitative research paradigm. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The sample in this study was the school principal, treasurer, BOS fund operator, teachers and committee chair of SDN 235 Lengkong Kecil. The research results show that: (1) Financing management is carried out according to procedures involving all stakeholders so that it is transparent through readability of education quality reports, (2) Financing management is carried out professionally so that it can increase the effectiveness of learning quality. In other words, through proper financing management, school facilities and infrastructure are met according to the needs of the learning process so that school financing management has a positive impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality of learning.
