Abstract

Program pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat melalui zakat produktif merupakan strategi dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan mustahik secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi zakat produktif berbasis masjid dalam meningkatkan kapasitas usaha mustahik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui empat tahapan, yaitu identifikasi dan seleksi mustahik, edukasi dan pelatihan, implementasi zakat produktif, serta pendampingan dan monitoring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mustahik berada pada kategori usaha mikro dengan pendapatan rendah dan keterbatasan pada aspek modal, literasi keuangan, serta sarana usaha. Pelaksanaan program memberikan dampak berupa peningkatan kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan, pemanfaatan modal yang lebih terarah, serta adanya perbaikan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas usaha. Selain itu, terjadi transformasi pola pikir mustahik dari penerima bantuan konsumtif menjadi pelaku usaha yang lebih mandiri dan produktif. Meskipun peningkatan pendapatan belum signifikan dalam jangka pendek, namun terdapat indikasi penguatan keberlanjutan usaha. Dengan demikian, zakat produktif berbasis masjid dengan pendekatan terintegrasi dan berbasis kebutuhan terbukti memiliki efektivitas dalam mendorong pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa maupun calon pendidik dalam mendukung pengembangan profesional dan akademik. Namun, masih banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami metodologi penelitian, khususnya Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), serta menuangkannya dalam bentuk karya ilmiah yang sistematis. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan penulisan karya ilmiah mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Balitar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai konsep, prosedur, dan teknik penyusunan proposal maupun laporan PTK serta meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam menulis karya ilmiah sesuai kaidah akademik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pemberian materi, diskusi, praktik penyusunan proposal PTK, dan pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah. Peserta kegiatan adalah mahasiswa Universitas Islam Balitar yang memiliki minat dalam penelitian dan penulisan ilmiah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai tahapan PTK, kemampuan mengidentifikasi permasalahan pembelajaran, menyusun rancangan penelitian, serta menulis karya ilmiah secara lebih sistematis dan terstruktur. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi selama pelatihan dan mampu menghasilkan draft proposal PTK sebagai luaran kegiatan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penulisan karya ilmiah mahasiswa serta dapat menjadi salah satu strategi untuk mendukung budaya akademik dan produktivitas penelitian di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

After the Covid 19 pandemic, many family economies have fallen, especially the lower middle class. Most of the residents of Karanganyar Poncokusumo Village work as farmers, traders and laborers who have been affected by the layoffs so that their income has decreased. Housewives are required to help the family economy. Some housewives have sewing skills and make beads on sandals, shoes and bags. As a result of the pandemic, market demand has decreased, the craftsmen have not returned to work. There is potential and team members have knitting skills, so the team provides training in making and e-marketing knitted masks. The need for masks during a pandemic has increased in accordance with government recommendations to use masks when doing activities outside the home and staying fashionable. Knitting mask training and e-marketing activities were carried out in Karanganyar Village for 7 meetings with 2 activities namely training on making knit masks and connectors, as well as e-marketing or online sales. The training participants totaled 15 housewives. For E-marketing the team socializes Facebook and Instagram social media as well as the Shopee Market Place. The results of the training participants produced 25 connectors and 20 knitted masks of various shapes, wallets, bags, and also barbie doll clothes. Currently the participants are learning to make a bouquet of flowers from knitting. In addition, a business group of women was formed in Karanganyar Poncokusumo village with knitting as the basis.

Abstract

Fiqh is one of the key branches of Islamic legal studies, serving as a guide for Muslims in their daily lives. An understanding of fiqh cannot be separated from the study of the four major schools of thought in Islam, namely the Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i and Hanbali schools. However, some students still have a limited understanding of the methodological differences and characteristics of each of these schools of thought. Therefore, academic mentoring is required to strengthen students’ understanding of fiqh and the four schools of thought. This study aims to describe the implementation of mentoring activities for undergraduate students at Sunan Giri University, Surabaya, in understanding fiqh and the four schools of thought. The method employed was a qualitative descriptive approach through academic discussions, textual analysis, and academic mentoring. The results of the activities indicate that this mentoring was effective in enhancing students’ understanding of the basic concepts of fiqh, the historical development of the schools of thought, and the differences in the methods of ijtihad employed by the imams of the schools of thought. These activities also fostered an attitude of tolerance towards differing opinions within Islamic law.

Abstract

The villages of Tambak Lekok, Jatirejo, and Tampung possess significant natural and human resources, but their utilization is still hampered by limited infrastructure and access to information. The village digitization initiative, which involves mapping using the Google Maps app, aims to improve access to information, make it easier to locate public facilities, and increase the visibility of the villages’ potential. This program employs an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach by identifying and mapping local assets through a participatory process. The results of these activities demonstrate that digital mapping can improve access to information, introduce digital technology to the community, and open up opportunities for economic development, tourism, and public services. This program is expected to serve as a first step in supporting sustainable village development based on local potential.

Abstract

This strategic initiative which involves branding, informative banners and visual signage for micro-business products in Pasinan Village, Pasuruan Regency is designed to enhance the appeal of these products whilst strengthening the identity of the businesses. This empowerment initiative applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) framework, which focuses on optimising local resources and carefully analysing market opportunities, particularly in the ‘es jaran’ product line, which is noted for having relatively few competitors. Programme implementation is centred on the Monas Market area, Lekok Sub-district, Pasuruan, as a means of accelerating growth and market penetration within the micro-enterprise sector. Findings from the programme’s implementation indicate that the use of visual promotional materials has proven effective in increasing the visibility of the product, enhancing competitiveness, and expanding the scope of marketing. Through the formulation of coherent marketing tactics and the strengthening of the distribution supply chain, business operators in Pasinan now have a far greater chance of succeeding in the competition within a much larger market.

Abstract

Bullying behaviour within educational institutions causes serious harm to pupils’ mental and psychological well-being, social relationships and academic achievement, whilst also undermining the creation of a safe and orderly classroom environment. Cases of bullying of this nature are still frequently encountered at various levels of the education system, including at primary madrasah level, thus necessitating concrete preventive measures through an awareness-raising campaign involving all members of the school community. The implementation of this community service programme is aimed at raising the level of awareness and concern amongst pupils, teachers and parents regarding the harmful risks of bullying, whilst strengthening their ability to tackle and mitigate such behaviour. The activity took place at MI Miftahul Ulum, Pasinan Village, utilising a Participatory Action Research (PAR) framework that prioritised the full involvement of all participants through awareness-raising sessions and joint discussions. The findings from the programme demonstrated a significant increase in participants’ understanding of the dangers of bullying and the preventative measures that can be implemented. Through this awareness-raising initiative, it is hoped that MI Miftahul Ulum will be able to foster a much more conducive educational environment for the safety of all pupils.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lekok District are now the primary target of a community service program focused on strengthening legal compliance and promotional ethics. This program specifically provides counseling on consumer protection laws and ethical digital marketing communication procedures. Business expansion through social media requires the application of the principles of information transparency, honesty, and product authenticity to safeguard consumer rights while building a trusted brand image, as stipulated in consumer protection regulations. This program utilizes several stages of methods, ranging from legal literacy education on the rights and obligations of business actors, legal risk assessments of misleading advertising practices, to direct guidance in formulating ethical promotional strategies. The final evaluation of the program showed an increase in business actors' awareness of their legal responsibilities for the goods and services they offer to the public. Through these efforts, it is hoped that the capacity of MSMEs in Lekok District will further increase, enabling them to have strong competitiveness based on legal compliance and order in business.

Abstract

Program gotong royong masyarakat melalui kegiatan bersih lingkungan dan penanaman lavender merupakan salah satu upaya pencegahan perkembangbiakan nyamuk. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wadungasri, Kecamatan Waru, dengan melibatkan Kepala desa, perangkat desa, RT/RW, dan warga setempat. Program ini menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), yaitu pendekatan yang menekankan pada pemanfaatan dan pengembangan aset sosial, individu, dan lingkungan yang dimiliki masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, meliputi persiapan alat, pembersihan lingkungan seperti mencabuti rumput, menyapu sampah, dan menghilangkan genangan air, serta penanaman tanaman lavender sebagai pengusir nyamuk alami. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan serta terciptanya lingkungan yang bersih dan terjaga. Keterlibatan Kepala Desa berperan penting dalam mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dan mendukung untuk keberlanjutan sebuah program. Dengan demikian, program gotong royong ini dapat menjadi alternatif dalam upaya pencegahan perkembangbiakan nyamuk dan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan masyarakat agar tetap terjaga.
