Abstract

This research is based on the problem of low understanding of concepts in class V of SDN Sukadaya 01 Bekasi Regency. The problems are: 1) The PKn score in class V is relatively low compared to other classes and subjects. 2) The understanding of the concept of PKn is low, this can be seen from students who are not able to understand the material that has been taught.3) Students in class V have difficulty giving examples related to the concept of PKn. 4) Students in class V have difficulty classifying the material given.5) Students in class V have difficulty making conclusions. In overcoming these problems, the Word Square learning model was implementea which aims to improve the understanding of the concept of PKn for grade V students of SDN Sukadaya 01 Bekasi Regency. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles, with 27 students and each cycle consists of 3 meetings. Data collection in this study uses a. Data collection in this study uses a written test data collection technique. The success criterion in this study is 70% with a KKM score of 70. The results of this study show that the increase in students' understanding of concepts in each cycle is 52% in the first cycle of classicai provisions with an average score of 74 and in the second cycle the classical completeness increases to 85% with an average score of 82. Based on this data, the learning model can increase the understanding of the concept of class V PKn by 38%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Word Square learning model can improve the understanding of the concept of PKn class V SDN Sukadaya 01 Bekasi Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada pelajaran Matematika. Dari 12 jurnal temuan, terdapat faktor rendahnya hasil belajar sebagian besar karena kurangnya wawasan guru terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu diterapkannya metode pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran Analisis Metode Discovery Learning terhadap Hasil Belajar pada Pelajaran Matematika Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Studi literature review adalah cara yang dipakai untuk mengumpulkan data atau sumber yang berhubungan pada sebuah topik tertentu yang bisa didapat dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal, buku, internet, dan pustaka lain. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jurnal penelitian atau artikel ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan hasil belajar Matematika dengan Metode Discovery Learning. Terdapat pengaruh secara efektif dan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan Metode Discovery Learning yaitu dengan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II, adanya perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan kelas yang tidak menggunakannya, serta nilai N-gain menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai yang tergolong tinggi. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil penelitian-penelitian referensi terdahulu menunjukkan indikator hasil belajar ranah kognitif mata pelajaran Matematika pada siswa sekolah dasar meningkat karena penerapan Metode Discovery Learning.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the teacher's efforts to make students play an active role in learning by choosing media that train skills and critical thinking, so that students actively understand the concept of IPAS. One of them is by using guided inquiry-based LKPD media. The purpose of this study was to help fifth grade learners at SDN Lemah Putro 1 with their understanding of the topic “How We Live and Grow” by creating guided inquiry-based worksheets and then measuring their reactions to the material. A four-aspect research and development model or Four-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) was used in this study. Questions and surveys, as well as tests for media and material experts were some of the research tools used. In evaluating the practicality of LKPD, researchers conducted validity tests with media expert lecturers and material expert teachers, to determine the practicality of LKPD, data were collected through questionnaires filled out by media experts and material experts, as well as student answers and test questions. With an average validity percentage of 90.5%, guided inquiry-based LKPDs meet the criteria of very feasible according to media experts and material experts. A poll of 89% was used by media experts to assess the LKPD and 92% by material experts. In the guided inquiry-based LKPD, 92% of students stated that the criteria were very interesting for their learning achievements, and students' responses to the guided inquiry-based LKPD were very interesting.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a recent educational reform initiative in Indonesia aimed at granting greater autonomy to schools and teachers in designing learning processes that align with students’ needs and contextual realities. This curriculum emphasizes student-centered learning, flexibility, and character development through the Profil Pelajar Pancasila (Pancasila Student Profile). This article analyzes the core concepts of the Merdeka Curriculum, its key components such as Contextual Learning, and the crucial role of teachers in its implementation. The study finds that the success of the Merdeka Curriculum heavily depends on teachers’ understanding, school infrastructure readiness, and collaboration among stakeholders. Despite facing challenges—particularly in resource-limited areas—the curriculum has strong potential to foster meaningful and relevant learning suited to 21st-century demands.

Abstract

The role of teachers in classroom management is one of the efforts to create a conducive learning atmosphere in the classroom. The efforts made by teachers in managing the class are due to the large number of students and the diversity of characters between individuals in one class, both in lower and upper elementary school classes, so that the role of teachers in managing the class is needed. This study aims to analyze the planning, process, supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluation of the management of IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the planning of the management of IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu carried out by teachers was to design learning that was not monotonous and adjusted to the growth and development, abilities and characteristics of students in the class. In the process of managing IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu, teachers apply principles in managing the class to create a conducive learning atmosphere. The supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu are the role of teachers as class managers and the number of students exceeding capacity. Classroom management carried out by teachers in the classroom shows that there is an evaluation, namely for an emotional deep approach and providing varied learning to prevent student boredom.

Abstract

One of the problems related to students' learning outcomes is the lack of variety in learning models, which causes students to become bored and easily drowsy during the learning process.The purpose of this study is to determine whether the Problem-Based Learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 121 Palembang. The method used in this research is a Pre-Experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest type. The population of this study consisted of 84 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 121 Palembang. From this population, a sample of 56 students was selected using a simple random sampling technique. This study involves two variables: variable X is the Problem-Based Learning model, and variable Y is the science learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used in this study include a pretest, a posttest, and documentation. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, the significance value (2-tailed) for classes V A and V C was 0.000 < 0.025, thus Ho is rejected. This means that Ha is accepted, indicating a significant influence of the Problem-Based Learning model on science learning outcomes in the magnet material among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 121 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of cultural and civic literacy in the teaching of Pendidikan Lingkungan Budaya Jakarta (PLBJ) at SDN Kapuk 06 Pagi. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that lesson planning was carried out contextually, integrating cultural and civic values into each designed component. The learning process was conducted actively and meaningfully, applying a scientific approach and the Problem-Based Learning model, which involved simple projects and activities based on local culture. The results of this implementation show that students have begun to understand Betawi culture as a local identity and have demonstrated tolerant attitudes as well as concern for their social environment. Supporting factors include teacher preparedness, support from the school principal, and adequate facilities and infrastructure. Conversely, challenges encountered include limited culture-based learning media and uneven student interest in cultural subjects. This study concludes that PLBJ instruction plays a role in gradually fostering cultural and civic literacy through activities relevant to students’ lives in a multicultural environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence parents in choosing between public and private elementary schools in the Pamulang Barat Subdistrict, South Tangerang City. The selection of an elementary school is a complex process involving multidimensional considerations, both from the internal aspects of the family and the external characteristics of the schools. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with eight parent respondents and direct observation of school facilities. The results show that parents’ educational background and socioeconomic conditions significantly influence school choice. In addition, factors such as school facilities, flagship programs, and the quality of teaching staff are key considerations. Family values, social environment, school location, safety, access to information, and internal school policies also play integral roles in the decision-making process. These findings indicate that parents’ choice of elementary school is the result of an integration between rationality, emotion, and the social values upheld by the family.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model on strengthening the critical reasoning Pancasila learner profile of grade V elementary school students, as well as to see students’ responses to the RADEC model. The research method used is quantitative with a one-shot case study experimental design. Data collection instruments are tests and questionnaires. The test questions were reasoning skills at the C4 level of Bloom’s Taxonomy, namelyvthe ability to analyze information, ideas, and arguments in depth. The results of data analysis showed that the RADEC learning model had a significant effect on strengthening students’ critical reasoning Pancasila learner profile. This is supported by the test results of the the validity of the test (all items are valid with r count > 0.768) and reliability test (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.507). The Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed the data of pre-test 0. 302 and post-test 0.078 data were normally distributed significance > 0,05. Furthermore, the results of the Paired Sample t-test showed a t value of -13.590 with a significance > 0. 05. Value of -13.590 with a significance (2-tailed) <0.001, identitying a significant difference and increase in post-test scores compared to the pre-test. Students’ response to the learning model is very positive, with an average questionnaire score of 85.5% wich falls into the “very good” category. It is concluded that the RADEC learning model is effective in improving students’ critical reasoning skills and gaining students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Model GBL berbantuan media Math Chess dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa fase B di SD Negeri 104257 Sekip, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan dua siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model GBL berbantuan media Math Chess dinyatakan "Efektif" dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa, dengan peningkatan keterlibatan siswa yang signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Motivasi siswa mencapai kategori "Sangat Baik" dengan rata-rata frekuensi sebesar 83,03%. Penerapan model ini juga menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Guru juga menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas dalam mengelola kelas dan menyampaikan materi, dengan peningkatan efektivitas dari 63,04% di siklus I menjadi 80,43% di siklus II. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Model GBL berbantuan media Math Chess dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif pembelajaran matematika yang efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
