Abstract

Curriculum anatomy is described as components that must exist in every educational institution. The curriculum is one of the educational tools or components that plays a very important role in delivering the expected educational goals. The aims of the curriculum itself are formulated based on the development of demands, needs and conditions of society and are based on thoughts and are directed at achieving philosophical values, especially state philosophy. This article aims to discuss the curriculum implemented at SDN Kebonsari 1/414 Surabaya. By using a qualitative descriptive approach method with observation data collection and literature review methods, the research results show that curriculum management involves planning, development, implementation and evaluation of school or college curricula. In this abstract, we will generally discuss topics such as curriculum implementation planning, curriculum implementation, the process of implementing the new curriculum in the school, the advantages and disadvantages of implementing the new curriculum, how the curriculum affects the school, what are the positive and negative impacts of the curriculum, and how to evaluate to increase its effectiveness.

Abstract

The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Education has implemented this system of character formation through education, starting from elementary to tertiary level. Character education is genuine education, or education that teaches people what character actually is in the three dimensions, namely. The aim of this research is to (find out the influence of the character of education on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted using a correlational descriptive research design. The method used was meta-analysis literature review of five previous research articles to search for records searched through the Google Scholar database using the keyword education character, learning outcomes and high school. The results of the research show that character education influences the learning outcomes of high school students.

Abstract

Technological and communication advances have a significant impact on various sectors of life, especially in the world of education. The use of technology in learning aims to improve the quality of education. One form of technology utilization is through the use of the Quizizz application as a medium for evaluating student learning outcomes. Therefore, this article is written with the aim of describing the effectiveness of using quizizz as a medium for evaluating student learning outcomes. The method used in this article is the library study method (library research) which is based on literature from accredited national journals sinta two (2) to sinta six (6) for the last 5 years, obtained from Google Scholar.The results of the study obtained show that the use of the Quizizz application as a medium for evaluating student learning outcomes is very effective and suitable for use as a medium for evaluating student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study that has been obtained by the author, we can know that the effectiveness of Quizizz as an evaluation media can be seen from the Quizizz features that make it easier for teachers and students to carry out the evaluation process. The use of Quizizz as an evaluation media is relatively cheap and practical when compared to using conventional paper-based methods. In addition, evaluation using Quizizz can encourage students to improve learning outcomes because students feel motivated when taking quizzes on the platform.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools and Madrasas are Islamic educational institutions spread across Indonesia. This research aims to review the history of Islamic boarding schools and madrasas in Indonesia, as well as the relationship between Islamic boarding schools and Madrasas. In this research, library research or library research methods are used. The emergence of madrasas is an effort to renew and bridge the relationship between the traditional system (Islamic boarding school) and the modern education system. And this is also an effort to improve the education system in Islamic boarding schools towards an education system that is more likely to enable graduates to get the same opportunities as those in public schools. In the madrasa system, there does not have to be a boarding house, mosque and recitation of classical books. The elements that are prioritized in madrasas are leaders, teachers, students, hardware, software and teaching of Islamic religious subjects.

Abstract

Education is an activity carried out to develop the abilities of students and the cultivation of civilization for students. Pesantren is one of the educational institutions that is the choice of parents with the rampant cases of crisis outside, pesantren are educational institutions where students in the learning process do not commute but live in Islamic boarding schools. Pesantren will provide facilities in the form of dormitories and other needs, in Pesantren learn religious knowledge, memorize the Qur'an, and instill adab to students (santri). The research method carried out is using qualitative research methods with a literature model. The stages in analyzing data are doing it by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Researchers reduce the educational literature and then present it systematically. The final stage is to draw conclusions from critical analysis. There are very important things to be instilled in students, but in fact not only students but all humans. Because with good civility, it reflects good morals as well. The purpose of the study is to find out the meaning of ta'dib (adab planting) and to find out the process of ta'dib (adab planting) in Islamic boarding schools. Ta'dib is to instill and implement adab through the educational order, the implementation of which requires discipline, as well as punishment that leads to warnings that make humans have civilization in studying or in social life. The process of ta'dib actually starts from the family, while from pesantren several methods are carried out, namely 1) the hiwar method, 2) the uswah method, 3) the riyadhah method, 4) the qishah (story) method, 5) the ibrah or mau'idzah method, 6) the targhib and tarhib methods, 7) the proverbs method. Adab planting in Islamic boarding schools cannot be done instantly or quickly, but requires a long time process. Actually, planting adab is done early in the family environment. Planting adab is carried out by several methods. And its implementation is not only for students but for the entire pesantren community.

Abstract

The education system that first appeared in Indonesia was the Islamic boarding school. In its development, Islamic boarding schools have always innovated and transformed themselves, both in terms of the content (material) taught and in terms of methods and management. However, the reality on the ground is that there are still many problems faced by Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to explore managerial problems and Islamic boarding school curriculum. In this research, library research or qualitative methods are used which refer to books and previous research. The results of the research show that Islamic boarding school managerial problems include Islamic boarding school policies being under the authority of the Kyai, the condition of students in terms of clothing, health and behavior as well as the "all mono" administrative pattern. Meanwhile, curriculum problems include providing general lessons that are less effective and a passive learning atmosphere. In conclusion, the development of science and technology creates increasingly high demands on Islamic boarding school educational standards so it is necessary to develop strategies to increase the progress of Islamic boarding schools that promise guarantees of knowledge, personality and skills.

Abstract

The concept of fitrah developed by experts today refers more to the purity of a person's soul when born, meaning that it has not been impacted by the ideologies that develop in this life. However, this concept is apparently not in line with the Islamic education concept that fitrah is actually a universal concept of divinity within a person, namely recognizing the monotheism of Allah SWT. Even since the baby was in the womb, every individual has testified to this Unity, regardless of Muslim or non-Muslim families. The concept of fitrah based on the Qur'an was later developed in Islamic education. This research aims to describe the concept of human nature from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith and its implications for Islamic education. The research method used is library research. The research results obtained are that the definition of fitrah according to the Qur'an illustrates that humans were actually created by Allah with religious instincts, namely the religion of monotheism. Therefore, humans who do not have monotheistic religion are a form of deviation from their nature. The implication of nature in Islamic education means educating people to deepen their understanding of the Islamic religion, to know Allah, and to know themselves. Thus, fitrah in Islamic education can be interpreted as the command to study the Islamic religion, the command to know Allah, and the command to know oneself, which humans undertake through the process of Islamic education.

Abstract

The message is that technological developments in the 21st century also create a new order of life for modern humans. Technological developments and globalization can directly or indirectly influence the moral development of teenagers in the millennial era. The purpose of this writing is to find out the personality challenges of teenagers in the era of social media. This article uses a literature study method, by collecting sources of information that are appropriate to the focus being discussed, then the information is arranged in the form of a description. The use of social media also influences the behavior and well-being of teenagers, as well as improving or strengthening each person's reputation and trust. In addition, social media can be used for effective information dissemination and developing social skills, but negative impacts tend to occur, such as the spread of false or dangerous information. , which can threaten the order of a young person's personal life. From this impact, it is important for families, communities and stakeholders to understand how to use social media well and integrate teenagers' use of social media.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept introduced by Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas. His thoughts are considered fundamental because his concept differs from commonly used terms in Islamic education. Al-Attas proposes the concept of ta'dib as a replacement for the terms tarbiyah and ta'lim, which he considers less appropriate in the context of Islamic education. This article aims to delve deeper into the concept of ta'dib proposed by Al-Attas, elaborate on the meaning of the concept, and evaluate whether it is true that the concepts of tarbiyah and ta'lim are less appropriate in Islamic education. This research is literature-based, using a qualitative approach that produces descriptive data in the form of written texts. The main focus of this study is on Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas's thoughts on the concept of ta'dib. Primary data is obtained from Al-Attas's books and scholarly journals discussing his thoughts. Secondary and supporting data are collected from books, the internet, and other sources relevant to this study. The conclusion of this article is that Al-Attas considers the most appropriate concept for Islamic education to be ta'dib, not tarbiyah. According to him, the most fundamental problem in current Islamic education is the loss of adab (manners). The concept of ta'dib, if applied comprehensively, integrally, and systematically in the practice of Islamic education, is expected to overcome various challenges in the development of Muslim human resources and produce a generation with manners through education with the concept of ta'dib.

Abstract

Pesantren in Indonesia faces two main challenges: finding a balance between Islamic tradition and modern education and training scholars who can adapt to modern knowledge. This article provides insights into the historical role of pesantren, challenges of modernity, and problem-solving strategies. Pesantren responds to challenges by accelerating the learning of religious materials, focusing on language skills improvement, developing learning materials, modernizing education, integrating traditional and modern elements, and preserving traditional values. The research aims to analyze the historical role of pesantren, assess modernity challenges, identify pesantren strategies, and evaluate sustainability and adaptability. The research design includes a case study involving various pesantren across Indonesia. Thus, this study is expected to offer a deeper understanding of how pesantren preserves and develops Islamic heritage amid the currents of modernity.
