Abstract

The Element of Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) is one of the important elements in the PAI and Budi Pekerti learning materials at the high school level. However, SKI materials are often considered boring and less popular. To overcome this, it is necessary to analyze how the learning process is carried out. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the PAI and Budi Pekerti learning process for SKI materials at the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study was conducted qualitatively using the field research method by collecting data in the field through interviews with PAI teachers and documentation studies on the PAI and Budi Pekerti Teaching Module for SKI materials. The results of the data collection were processed and analyzed by considering the context and interests of the study. The results of the study showed that at the planning stage, teaching modules, media used, and other supporting facilities and tools were prepared. The implementation was carried out in accordance with the design in the Teaching Module and modified according to conditions and needs during the learning process. Evaluation was carried out in formative form to evaluate the learning process and summative to evaluate learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that students' learning activity is still relatively low. The aim is to find out whether the average learning activity of participants is above 75 and whether there is a significant influence on PAI-BP class VIII learning on the subject matter "Usury in Buying and Selling and Accounts Payable". This research is experimental research with a static group comparison design. The population was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pua and the sampling technique used probability sampling with class VIII 1 as the experimental class and VIII 3 as the control class. Data was collsected using questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using the T-test, namely the one sample t-test and the independent t-test. It was found that the average learning activity of students using the Quick On The Draw cooperative learning model was above 75, confirmed by the results of the one sample t-test, namely sig.(2-tailed) 0.002<0.05. The tcount value is 3.468>ttable 2.064. The next finding is that there is a significant influence of using the Quick On The Draw cooperative learning model on learning activity, confirmed by the results of the independent sample t-test, namely the Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 and has an average difference (Mean Difference¬) 13.14000.

Abstract

Background: The low results of Indonesian students in the 2022 PISA mathematics literacy survey reflect a critical gap in students' mathematical abilities, which may hinder the nation's economic progress. An independent website, developed using Google Sites, was used to teach the material, customized to align with the curriculum and essential learning outcomes. Method: A mixed-methods approach was employed, encompassing both quantitative and qualitative methods. Data collection techniques included interviews with mathematics teachers for qualitative data and questionnaires distributed to students for quantitative data. Following observations, researchers gathered information through semi-structured interviews with both students and teachers. Data validation was conducted through triangulation of sources. Results: The average percentage achieved was 88.94%, categorized as very good. It can be concluded that mathematics learning using an independent website to support the independent curriculum produced excellent results. The study indicated that mathematics learning through an independent website significantly supported the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Makassar State Forestry Vocational School. Conclusion: The independent website is considered to support student-centered learning objectives. Teachers acknowledged that the site allows students to learn independently, at their own pace and according to their needs. Thus, mathematics learning using an independent website significantly supports the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Makassar State Forestry Vocational School.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of happiness as expressed through the term al-farah in the Qur'an, as interpreted by Abdurrahman bin Nashir As-Sa'di in his work Tafsir As-Sa'di or Taysir al-Karim ar-Rahman fi Tafsir Kalam al-Mannan. The term al-farah appears in various contexts within the Qur'an, such as in QS. Yunus: 58, which highlights praiseworthy happiness, and QS. Al-Qasas: 76, which illustrates blameworthy joy. The research aims to analyze and describe As-Sa'di's interpretation of both positive and negative aspects of happiness and its implications for human life. According to As-Sa'di, commendable happiness stems from gratitude, obedience to Allah, and actions that yield benefits in both worldly and spiritual dimensions. On the other hand, negative happiness arises from arrogance, heedlessness, and straying from righteousness, as reflected in the story of Qarun. Using a descriptive qualitative method and thematic interpretation, this study draws on Tafsir As-Sa'di as the primary source, supplemented by secondary materials, including other tafsir works, Islamic literature, and scholarly articles. The findings suggest that understanding al-farah through As-Sa'di’s perspective can help individuals critically evaluate their sources of happiness, distinguishing between those that are beneficial and those that are harmful. This study highlights the importance of exploring the concept of happiness from an Islamic viewpoint and demonstrates how classical exegesis can provide guidance for navigating contemporary challenges and fostering meaningful joy in daily life.

Abstract

The teacher's contribution is very important in terms of worshiping students. PAI teachers have the responsibility to guide student behavior to achieve learning goals. As is the case in carrying out congregational prayers. The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of teachers in efforts to guide congregational prayers at SDIT Insan Kamil Bukittinggi. After conducting research, the following results were obtained; (1) The contribution of PAI teachers in efforts to guide congregational prayers for class IV students at SDIT Insan Kamil Bukittinggi is that PAI teachers carry out efforts to guide congregational prayers using several methods, namely, education by example, education by habituation, and education by advice. Among the contributions of these teachers include: PAI teachers as motivators, PAI teachers as role models (examples), PAI teachers as mentors (advisors), and PAI teachers as evaluators. (2) Supporting factors for PAI teachers in guiding congregational prayers are adequate worship facilities, a supportive environment and good cooperation between teachers, while (3) factors inhibiting student behavior, there is still a lack of awareness of the importance of congregational prayers and solutions provided by PAI teachers in overcoming inhibiting factors. provide supervision, guidance and discipline in the implementation of congregational prayers.

Abstract

God has given the Qur'an as a guide and instruction for humanity, so that they can understand His will and pleasure. Introduction to and understanding of the Qur'an are essential aspects of religious education from an early age, especially in Early Childhood. The Kaisa method is one of the engaging ways to understand the Qur'an. This research aims to examine the application of the Kaisa method in understanding the Qur'an in early childhood. The author will identify the steps and challenges that arise in the implementation of this method and how it can contribute to the understanding of the Qur'an and the moral and religious development of early childhood. The research method applied is qualitative research in the form of descriptive research, with data collection and gathering techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study state that the application of the Kaisa method at the RA Anak Shaleh Suwayuwo involves three main steps, including the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. In the application of the Kaisa method, supportive factors include high student motivation and a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of the joyful learning strategy on the personal learning interest of class VII students in PAI learning. This research uses a quasi-experimental research method by taking two classes which are used as an experimental class and a control class. This research is a quantitative experimental research, by giving a pre-test and post-test to 52 students in both classes. The sampling technique used for data collection was a learning interest questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses normality, homogeneity tests, then continues with hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis and discussion of the research data obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value for the overall joyfull learning strategy and interest in learning, which shows that there is a significant relationship between the joyfull learning strategy and students' interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMP N 1 Sungai. Pua Agam Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the research show that the results of the hypothesis testing that was carried out in the experimental class and control class obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.010 < α = 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of these calculations, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the joyful learning strategy on students' interest in learning in class VII PAI subjects at SMP N 1 Sungai Pua, Agam Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the ability to read the Qur'an and the understanding of Tajweed among Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. A good ability to read the Qur'an is expected to show a deep understanding of the science of tajweed, which includes the rules and regulations of reading in accordance with the provisions of the laws of tajweed. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method to analyze the relationship between the two variables with a sample of 20 people from 150 populations by sampling with random sampling. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires about the ability to read the Qur'an and understanding the science of Tajweed. The correlation analysis technique is used to see if there is a significant relationship between reading ability and understanding of Tajweed. The results showed that there is a significant positive correlation between the ability to read the Qur'an of PAI students of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang and the understanding of Tajweed. Based on the results of test analysis conducted on SPSS 20, the sig Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.921> 0.05. Thus, in accordance with the basis of decision in the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, it can be concluded that the data are normally distributed. Thus, the assumption or requirement of normality in the regression model is met.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of critical thinking skills in seeing business and business opportunities, especially for students of sharia economics and sharia banking study programs/departments to support business opportunities and businesses that they are currently running and will be running. This research aims to analyze the ability to see business and business opportunities of Sharia economics and Sharia banking students using critical thinking skills. This research uses descriptive mixing method. Data was collected by randomly distributing Likert scale questionnaires and interview to 50 respondents from Sharia economics and sharia banking study program students. Percentage statistics are used to provide a clear picture of data distribution. Research findings show that the critical thinking possessed by respondents is generally in the sufficient category when looking at business and business opportunities. Respondents have sufficient systematic thinking skills, have sufficient business instincts to start a business, are able to consider various solutions quite well, consider implications and identify problems and potential solutions quite well, but due to limited energy, time and funds, sometimes business what they do is like suspended animation. This research is significant in providing an understanding of the ability of business opportunities by using the critical thinking skills that are requested and required and trained in formal education carried out by students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low active learning participation of students in Social Studies at SMP Negeri 9 Kubung. It is suspected that this is due to the students' lack of understanding of their learning styles, making it difficult for them to grasp and comprehend the lessons effectively. The aim of this study is to determine how much influence students' learning styles have on their active learning in Social Studies at SMP Negeri 9 Kubung. In this research, the researcher used a quantitative approach. The population of the study consisted of all students enrolled in SMP Negeri 9 Kubung in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 40 students. The sample was taken using the total sampling technique, as the sample included all elements of the population. The analysis technique used was simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the students' learning style (X) had a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 7.558 > t-table value of 2.024, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of students' learning styles on their active learning in Social Studies at SMP Negeri 9 Kubung. The influence of the learning style variable (X) on tactive learning variable (Y) is 60.1%.
