Abstract

Children are the fruit of love from both parents who must be given love and affection to fulfill all the needs needed by children. Nowadays there are many children who do not get this, let alone the children who live in the Orphanage Foundation. The children who live in the Orphanage Foundation are not only those who are orphans, orphans or orphans but also those who have complete families but are economically disadvantaged. The aim of the research is to reveal how the role of foster parents is in shaping the character of the children of the Aisyiyah Putri Bukittinggi Orphanage. This research is a qualitative research by analyzing the extent of the role of the orphanage administrators or foster parents in building the character of the children in the orphanage while carrying out PLBKLS at the Aisyiyah Orphanage branch. The results of the study show that children who can be said to still live and have complete parents and families still have bad character, this is caused by the surrounding environment or the character of the child. Meanwhile, foster parents are only tasked with supervising the children's playing environment, providing affection that foster children do not get from biological parents. Foster parents can also set an example for orphans as an effort to build the character of the orphans because foster children will be able to accept that foster parents can be role models and also love apart from just listening to advice. The role of the foster parents themselves is the same as the biological parents of the orphanage children, and this is where the role of the foster parents is indispensable for the development and formation of good character for the children living in the orphanage.

Abstract

In the midst of the high needs of humans who depend on nature, many problems occur in the human environment. The main problem of the environment is the result of the continuous exploitation of natural resources due to the insistence on human needs which can damage the earth and the low character of environmental concern owned. Using the literature review method, the author examines the sources that have been obtained and then the sources are collected, then reviewed one by one with other sources as additional reference material so that the information obtained is broader and maximized then criticizes and provides views related to the materials in accordance with the author's understanding. The importance of preserving the environment means having awareness, concern, or attitude to always heed something that happens around humans, namely in the environment where they live. One of the efforts that can be made to grow this awareness is through the learning process, especially history learning through the implementation of Green History which in education has a lot of space to shape the character of students. History learning that is integrated with the conditions of the current environmental picture can increase students' awareness and understanding of the importance of preserving the environment amid the rampant environmental damage that occurs.

Abstract

This research was conducted by researchers while in the field as one of the teaching staff at State Junior High School 1 Pancur Batu which is one of the schools accredited A, as a National Adiwiyata school towards independent adiwiyata, as well as a healthy school, even though Pancur Batu 1 Public Middle School is a school located less strategic because it is located on the outskirts of Medan city, in a neighborhood where most of the population has a lower level of education and lower middle class households. There have been other researchers who have conducted research at this school with this battle. We all know that education has a big role in the progress of the nation. School is an institution where education is held in the hope of citizens for a brighter future life. Education is one of the efforts that can be made by school teachers to become an institution where people hope for better insights into life in the future. Therefore, efforts to improve the quality of education are a shared responsibility, especially the principal as the highest leader in the school. Schools need a school principal who is qualified and has extensive knowledge of school management to obtain good performance and performance. For this reason, it is necessary to reform and improve the quality of education through the management sector. In Indonesia, education is regulated by teachers in Law number 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System Based on the above understanding, education has a crucial systematic meaning that is realized and planned. With the intelligence possessed by students, they can develop their talents and interests to realize goals optimally through the existing learning process. The quality of educational outcomes is determined by polyfactors, especially education management. The achievement of quality as a result of education is influenced by many factors, especially educational management. Based on that there is a relevant and Christian influence between the leadership of school principals on school-based management in improving quality. Principal leadership plays a crucial role in managing education management to achieve school goals efficiently and effectively. The school principal as a leader must have the right strategy as a basis for making decisions to achieve goals. This is inseparable from improving the strategy in each organization or forum. the difference is whether the tactic fulfills all elements perfectly, is effective and efficient in its application. This is mainly due to its very basic nature in the holistic application of the organization's mission to create, maintain and share its existence in the medium term, including the long term. Supporting factors in improving the quality of education at Pancur Batu 1 public junior high school means that the educators whose teachers at the school have qualified S1 and S2 education who have received educator certification, loyal and qualified educational administration staff, clear work programs and assignments, facilities that support activities learn how to teach. While the inhibiting factors in raising the quality of education in public junior high school 1 Pancur Batu means the low learning motivation of students, as long as staffing resources are not optimal, the low level of teacher discipline. Efforts made to improve the quality of education include: intensifying guidance and counseling activities, forming an atmosphere interesting learning and give appreciation to students who succeed such as gifts and scholarships, involve the employees concerned in education and staff training. The background to the establishment of SMP Negeri 1 P.Batu was originally to educate the nation's children because it was under the auspices of the direct government with the aim of educating and creating the characteristics of students, but the school was growing rapidly so that there were changes in the SMP Negeri 1 P.Batu school with more and more interested students because the school has quite a lot of students, even from year to year the number can be up to 400 per student. with the same goal, namely to educate the nation's children and create a better character and character of students.

Abstract

The study aims to find out how the qasidah group located in Sei Mencirim village maintains it's existence. This research was conducted on a qasidah group named As-Salam. The formation of the qasidah As-Salam group in the village of Sei Mencirim has existed since 2000 with 15 members. The method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research. In dara collection is done by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the data obtained, the development of the original and unsuitable qasidah group Sei Mencirim has developed well until now. In addition, in it's development, the members of the qasidah As-Salam group have their own characteristics, namely a close sense of kinship between them. The benefits of As-Salam glucoside it self are such as providing Islamic nuanced advice to the community in an activity such as recitation marriages and others. The way the qasidah As-Salam group maintains it's existence is by focusing on qasidah themes and songs with members personnel and adjusting in advance what theme will be performed so that it is right on target.

Abstract

This study aims to characterize and develop Islamic education services for disabled children. The type of research used in this research is library research, to discuss how Islamic Religious Education learning methods and services are for students with special needs with disabilities. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques by collecting data through data source documents such as books, journals and scientific articles. The results of the study show that there are several characteristics of children with physical impairment, including: physical characteristics, academic characteristics, and social or emotional characteristics. Children with special needs who experience damage or loss of physical members, the process of developing Islamic religious education materials in providing material or teaching methods is almost the same as children with visual impairments and hearing impairments. Meanwhile, the development model for disabled children is through the school environment, family environment, and community environment.

Abstract

Researchers focus on conducting research in increasing the activeness of learning using the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning method in learning Indonesian. The research was conducted to 1) find out the process of learning activities with the jigsaw cooperative learning method to increase the learning activity of fifth grade students in learning Indonesian. 2) Knowing the application of the cooperative type jigsaw method in increasing the learning activity of fifth grade students in learning Indonesian. This research method uses a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, documents, and documentation. As for testing the validity of the data using source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. Furthermore, researchers used data analysis in the form of data reduction, data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that (1) the process of learning activities of the jigsaw cooperative learning method in the Indonesian language subject at SD Negeri 03 Sidigede Welahan Jepara goes through the stages of preparing the teacher to prepare a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and implementing the learning process with explanations The material presented includes preliminary activities, core activities, closing activities, evaluation activities, and assessment activities. (2) In applying the jigsaw type cooperative learning method, the teacher provides mastery of the material to students, namely in the form of evaluating the questions in thematic books in groups. It can be seen in the application of the cooperative type jigsaw method at SD Negeri 03 Sidigede that students listen to discussions well, can know the abilities of each individual, during discussions students ask each other questions and opinions, all students play an active role, accept each other's deficiencies in differences of opinion from the results of their friends' answers, students dare to solve problems, deeper understanding, all students are enthusiastic about doing assignments.

Abstract

Body size and shape (physical development) are influenced by genetic and environmental factors. Important physical development occurs throughout childhood, namely in the areas of the brain and sympathetic nervous system. However, the personality traits of children, both in terms of their personality and way of thinking, have a significant influence on their development and growth. The authors therefore cover cognitive development in children. Using a quantitative approach, we can conclude that many different things can affect a child's cognitive development; However, in this case, a teacher needs to have a plan to deal with every factor that might have an impact on the cognitive growth of his students. Therefore, the process of cognitive development in children includes progressive learning processes such as attention, memory, and reasoning. The development of these skills is very important so that children can process information, learn to evaluate it, analyze it, remember it, compare it and understand the relationship between cause and effect. That's why kids can improve their learning and thinking skills with some targeted drills and exercises.

Abstract

Self-concept is related to self-confidence, because self-concept is one of the things that influences a child's self-confidence, self-confidence includes perceptions, feelings, beliefs, and self-assessments, and someone who has a low self-concept can cause a person's low self-confidence. This study aims to, 1) determine the relationship between self-concept and the self-confidence of broken home children, 2) find out how much the relationship between self-concept and the self-confidence of broken home children. This type of quantitative research is correlational. The research population of West Pasaman Muhammadiyah Aliyah Madrasah Aliyah students who experienced broken home families was 20 students. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data collection techniques using self-concept and self-confidence instruments. Data analysis techniques used non-parametric analysis techniques and the correlation used the Spearman rho method with the help of SPSS version 26. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, the results obtained were rcount 0.499 > rtable 0.443 that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This means that there is a significant correlation between self-concept and the self-confidence of broken home children at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pasaman Barat. Interpreting the non-parameric correlation can be concluded that 0.499 lies (0.40-0.599), namely between variable X (self-concept) and variable Y (self-confidence). There is a correlation, which means it is moderately correlated. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the better (positive) the student's self-concept, the higher the student's self-confidence. and vice versa, the worse (negative) the student's self-concept, the lower the student's self-confidence.

Abstract

Special creatures, perfect and created in the best way and given reason or advantages over other creatures, namely humans. When humans do not understand themselves, humans will experience many problems. The purpose of this research is to reveal about human psychology in the Qur'an and Hadith. The type of research is literature review by collecting data from Google Scholar, journals and books, the data is analyzed using data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The results of the research show that basically human nature is that humans are religious beings (religious monotheism), humans are caliphs on earth and are born with a fitrah (religious nature). At this stage of development, humans are required to win their essence and the dynamics of human personality consist of spirit, lust, mind and heart physically or physically and the second is psychological.

Abstract

The main problem of the research here is the lack of motivation in students to memorize the Al-Quran. Then there are still many students' mistakes in reading the Koran, both in terms of its makhraj, short length and the rules for reading the Koran from students so that it makes it difficult for students to memorize the Koran. The research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative research, namely data collected in the form of words, pictures, not numbers. The key informants are students, while the supporting informants are PAI teachers and other teachers. The techniques used to collect data are observation, interviews and documentation. To analyze the data, researchers used Miles and Huberman's analysis techniques, namely Data Reduction, Data Display (data display), and Conclusion Drawing or verification. In order for the data collected to be valid, the researcher uses the validity technique by means of triangulation. Based on the results of research found in the field, in terms of implementation, the process or stages that students go through are going quite well. However, there are various problems faced by students in memorizing the Qur'an both internally and externally. From an internal perspective, it can be seen from a feeling of laziness or lack of motivation within oneself, not focusing when memorizing the Al-Quran, not repeating memorization (Murajaah) at home and so on. Meanwhile, from an external perspective, it is because of friends' distractions, more focus on playing with cellphones, lots of school assignments, and not being able to divide time properly and effectively. Therefore, to overcome these problems, students need to instill sincere intentions in their hearts and earnestly memorize the Al-Quran. Besides that, it is also expected that parents and teachers can work together in increasing the potential for memorizing the Al-Quran of students. so that students in the future are even more proficient in reading and memorizing the Al-Quran.
