Abstract

This study is entitled TPACK-Based Learning Model in Improving Students' Understanding of Islamic Religious Education Subjects at SMAN 1 Kinali. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 1 Kinali. The TPACK model integrates technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge to improve students' understanding of teaching materials while honing digital literacy skills. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in three cycles, with stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were grade XI students who studied the material "Avoiding Teenage Fights, Alcohol, and Drugs". The results showed that the TPACK learning model succeeded in improving students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education material, as well as improving spiritual, social attitudes, and psychomotor skills. In addition, students also showed a significant increase in digital literacy skills through the use of technology integrated into learning. Overall, this study concludes that the TPACK learning model is effective in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning, especially in terms of students' understanding of Islamic teachings and their digital skills. Thus, the implementation of TPACK at SMAN 1 Kinali can be used as a relevant and applicable learning model in today's digital era.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education plays an essential role in shaping students' character based on values of love, tolerance, and care. On the other hand, inclusive learning emphasizes full access and participation for all students, including those with special needs and diverse backgrounds. The Merdeka Curriculum, with its focus on student-centered learning and character-building projects through the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5), offers opportunities for Christian Religious Education (CRE) to be integrated with inclusive principles. This study aims to analyze the integration of CRE and inclusive learning within the Merdeka Curriculum through a literature review approach. The research identifies several challenges and opportunities in implementing inclusive CRE. Key challenges include limited resources, teacher readiness, and the need to adjust materials to meet the diverse needs of students. However, significant opportunities exist, such as the potential of CRE to instill values of acceptance and love in a diverse educational environment. The study's implications include recommendations for schools and the government to strengthen teacher training, develop differentiated learning methods, and establish policies that promote collaboration between teachers and support staff. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing more inclusive and adaptive religious education within the Merdeka Curriculum. With proper integration, CRE not only functions as a cognitive subject but also as a means to build a school community that values and supports diversity. The study recommends periodic evaluations and continuous collaboration between teachers, schools, and policymakers to achieve more inclusive education rooted in Christian values.

Abstract

The low interest and learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education material are due to the limited use of innovative learning media. This issue serves as one of the research backgrounds, aiming to improve Pancasila Education learning outcomes through the use of Smart Box media for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Sewulan 02. This research employs a classroom action research (CAR) method using the Kurt Lewin model, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle involves four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 14 fourth-grade students in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observations, tests, and interviews with the fourth-grade teacher as the teaching facilitator. The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of student learning mastery. In the pre-cycle stage, student learning mastery only reached 35%. After the application of the Smart Box media, student mastery increased to 57% in the first cycle, and then reached 86% in the second cycle. Based on the achievement of 86% mastery in the second cycle, it can be concluded that the use of Smart Box media is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Additionally, the use of this media also increased students' enthusiasm during the Pancasila Education learning process, as evidenced by their active participation in learning activities and higher interest in the material being presented.

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between fitrah and Islamic education in early childhood, emphasizing the importance of understanding and developing children's innate potential as a foundation for optimal growth. Fitrah, which encompasses aspects of faith, intellect, talent, sexuality, aesthetics, individuality, sociality, and physicality, represents an integral component that must be considered in children's education. By referencing the thoughts of Islamic scholars and recent research, this article explains that fitrah-based education focuses on creating an environment that supports the development of all aspects of a child's fitrah. The proposed educational methods include experiential learning in nature, instilling religious values through exemplary behavior, and providing children with space for self-expression. Activities designed must consider the developmental phases of children and avoid placing pressure on them to achieve outcomes that are not aligned with their developmental stages. Emphasizing a holistic approach to education is expected to produce individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also possess good character and can positively contribute to society. Through a profound understanding of fitrah and the application of appropriate educational practices, it is hoped that children can optimally develop their potential, build a strong identity, and become well-rounded individuals with noble morals. This article concludes that the integration of the concept of fitrah within Islamic education is a crucial step in shaping a quality generation that aligns with religious values.
