Abstract

The study aims to assess the influence of social literacy on social interaction patterns of students at SMK Emmanuel Medan who use gadgets. This study uses quantitative and descriptive methods. Purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample for the study. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 42 students in class XI of SMK Emmanuel Medan. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that social literacy benefits students' device use at SMK Emmanuel Medan. Therefore, it can be concluded that social literacy benefits students' device use in school.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of digital marketing strategies through Instagram social media on the deutschkursebildung account, this company is engaged in German language education. The purpose of this study is to describe the digital marketing strategy carried out by deutschkursebildung through Instagram. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through Instagram account observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of attractive visual content, consistency in uploads, and active interaction with followers have a positive impact on increasing audience engagement. Thus, digital marketing strategies through Instagram have proven to be an effective tool in supporting the growth and existence of deutschkursebildung in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has encouraged mass media to transform significantly, both in terms of format and content presentation strategy. This study aims to describe the strategic role of Media Indonesia's Research and Development Department (R&D) in supporting data-based media content research and development activities. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study was conducted through direct observation, active participation, in-depth interviews, and literature study in Media Indonesia's R&D work environment. The results showed that R&D acts as a research and innovation center that applies a R&D approach based on the Borg and Gall model. Research and Development carries out the stages of initial research, content development, publication testing, and revision based on audience feedback to ensure the quality and relevance of the information presented. The findings confirm that R&D is an important pillar in a media ecosystem that is adaptive, innovative and responsible for the dynamics of public information needs in the digital era.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times, the Indonesian curriculum continues to change. Indonesia has experienced curriculum changes starting from the 1947 curriculum to the 2022 curriculum, namely the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to determine the perspectives of teachers and students: the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative method. This research technique uses data collection in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This research was conducted at Purwakarta Elementary School, precisely at SDN 3 Sindangkasih. The informants in this study were the principal and 2 teachers at SDN 3 Sindangkasih. The results of the interview showed that the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in elementary schools in Purwakarta was in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum concept where the Merdeka Curriculum focuses on developing students' talents and interests and providing freedom in the learning process.

Abstract

Many students have minimal knowledge about how to write scientific articles. Therefore, intensive training and guidance are needed so that they are more proficient. In addition, it is important to analyze the results of the training. The author will discuss the effect of article writing workshops and publication strategies on the understanding of 6th semester students at the Ushuluddin Darussalam Bangkalan College of Science. This study uses a quantitative method with a case study approach. The author also includes a quasi-experimental approach to test the causal relationship between the variables studied. In this approach, a pre-test and post-test were conducted which must be filled out by all sixth semester students before and after the workshop. The results showed that students' understanding of the material increased. Before the workshop, the average pre-test score of students was 55.06, and after the workshop it increased to 60.94. Although there was an increase, the change was not too large. The average n-gain value of 0.13 indicates a small increase in students' understanding, which is included in the low category. Article writing training is very important to improve the quality of students' research and scientific publications. The results showed that the workshop had a positive effect, although there was still room for improvement. Therefore, it is suggested that this training be conducted routinely to support students' ability in writing articles and mastering publication strategies in the future.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the paradigm of guidance and counseling (BK) services in educational institutions. This study aims to identify challenges and summarize various innovations in BK service management in the digital era through a review of scientific literature. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach to relevant sources published between 2015 and 2024. The findings reveal that the main challenges in digital BK management include technological literacy gaps, infrastructure limitations, and ethical and data security issues related to clients. On the other hand, emerging innovations include the use of online platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet, integration of AI chatbots, e-supervision systems, and the utilization of social media and mobile-based counseling applications. This study emphasizes the need to enhance counselors' digital competencies, strengthen ethical regulations, and provide institutional policy support to ensure the sustainability and relevance of digital BK services in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of infrastructure and facilities management in efforts to improve educational standards. A qualitative approach using literature study methodoogy. The results of the study indicate that infrastructure and facilities management is very important in efforts to improve educational standards, which are examined from the following perspectives: 2) Definition of infrastructure and facilities management, which includes efforts to utilize and manage facilities to support the educational process in schools; 1) Definition of infrastructure and facilities, which includes its role as a supporting element in achieving learning activities based on the curriculum in each educational unit; 3) Principles of infrastructure and facilities management, such as a) the principle of achieving goals, c) administrative principles, d) principles of clarity of responsibility, and e) principles of cohesion; 4) stages of management of facilities and infrastructure, including planning, acquisition, utilization, inventory, maintenance, and transfer; and 5) the relationship between the existence of facilities and infrastructure and the improvement of educational standards, where schools that have adequate facilities and infrastructure are usually better prepared to improve educational standards.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the decline in students' learning interest, particularly in Social Studies (IPS) subjects. Teachers play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students to enhance their motivation and interest in learning. The objective of this research is to describe the role of Social Studies teachers as facilitators and motivators, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the learning interest of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Srengat, Blitar Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the teacher's role as a facilitator is reflected in accompanying students during the learning process and providing guidance according to their abilities. As a motivator, the teacher encourages students by emphasizing the importance of learning and showing motivational videos to inspire them. Supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, and good collaboration among teachers. Inhibiting factors consist of inefficient teaching hours, students' learning difficulties due to psychological, family, and peer influences, as well as environmental factors such as negative peer groups and low literacy engagement among students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of inclusive education at State Elementary School (SDN) 30 Palembang, focusing on the challenges and forms of support faced in its implementation. Inclusive education is an approach that ensures all children, including children with special needs (ABK), get equal access to education in a friendly and open environment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, the results of the study indicate that the main challenges in the implementation of inclusive education at SDN 30 Palembang were the lack of disability-friendly facilities, as well as the ongoing stigma from the community towards ABK students. Other technical obstacles are the limited ratio of ABK per class set by government policy and the lack of supporting resources. However, this study also found significant support, such as teacher training, principal involvement, and cooperation with external institutions that encourage the sustainability of inclusive education. This study concludes that the implementation of inclusive education at SDN 30 Palembang shows positive developments even though it still faces structural and social challenges. Policy strengthening, teacher capacity building, and community support are needed so that the inclusive education system can run more optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling akhlakul karimah values as the main foundation for student character development. The findings show that teacher role modeling and habituation are key strategies in the internalization of moral values. Moreover, the application of varied and interactive teaching methods and media significantly enhances students’ interest and understanding. Success measurement is conducted through holistic observation of changes in students’ attitudes and habits. The study also identifies challenges such as limited time and environmental influences, which can be addressed through synergy among schools, parents, and the community.
