Abstract

The most important problem caused by humans is waste, because humans individually produce waste from the rest of the food and drinks they consume. This is certainly a common problem for the community and the government authorities. This PKM activity is a reservoir for community complaints and a mouthpiece to the government with using method counselling, discussion, visitation, and interview to administrators and communities around TPS3R in Pasar Cantik Ciputat which lasted for 3 (three) months and the team is 13 lecturers of STIE Ganesha Jakarta (7 lecturers of Management and 6 lecturers of Accounting). The result is that local community can understand the function of TPS3R more better. The lecturers through their writings or articles, will try to be an extension and verbal of the problems at TPS3R Pasar Cantik Ciputat. The solution obtained is for non-organic waste to be sorted and collected by the TPS3R team and then work with trash banks for recycling to get some funds to maintenance the tools then produce good compost and can be sold for the good price. The suggestion for academics and environmental activists then can collaborate with the local government to create sustainable programs and for TPS3R and communities around can propose to the local government to make a Trash Bank that integrates with TPS3R and then last thing is the government must care to the TPS3R and Trash Banks in their respective regions.

Abstract

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a medical condition caused by a bacterial infection of the urinary system. In the elderly, urinary tract infections can occur without obvious symptoms, so screening for urinary tract infections is needed for early detection and appropriate management. Education is also needed regarding risk factors, such as urinary retention habits and personal hygiene, so that the risk of infection can be reduced. This activity is carried out using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method, so it is hoped that it can increase effectiveness in preventing UTIs. This activity is carried out with the aim of maintaining and improving the quality of life of the elderly, especially in preventing urinary tract infections through early detection and healthy lifestyle changes. Abstract

Humans are social creatures who cannot be separated from the existence of the people around them, whether in the family, school, campus, office or in other social life. This writing uses qualitative methods. The results of the research are that character development and character education are a necessity, because education not only makes the nation's children intelligent but also has good character and politeness. Character education involves all aspects of human life, so the emphasis is not only focused on children's cognitive development, but character education in early childhood must be adapted to the child's soul. Schools as institutions that provide services to society by emphasizing social, moral and academic responsibility by integrating character education in all learning material disciplines or in every aspect of the curriculum.

Abstract

The process of implementing good information systems and information technology requires strategic planning that is in line with business goals, so that failure and financial losses in the development of information systems and information technology can be avoided. The KM3 NU Education Foundation of Ponorogo Regency is an education organizing institution. Currently KM3 NU Ponorogo has not utilized information systems and information technology in processing academic and administrative data. This results in difficulties in increasing the productivity of school services. Based on the conditions above, it is necessary to carry out outreach activities, mentoring and FGDs for strategic planning of information systems and information technology so that foundations have guidelines in determining priorities for implementing information systems and information technology. The benefit of this activity is that the foundation can create a roadmap for developing information systems and information technology that supports business processes so that it can compete with competitors

Abstract

Waste management is a big problem that often occurs in Indonesia which can affect society and health. The waste management system implemented by the Klagen village community is not yet good, this can be seen from the village community who still throw rubbish carelessly and do not separate organic and non-organic waste. The aim of implementing this activity is to create a more efficient waste disposal medium in Klagen village. This activity was carried out using observation, discussion and implementation methods. It is hoped that the presence of trash cans in Klagen Village will provide significant changes in the future for the preservation and sustainability of the environment in Klagen Village. Of course, cooperation from the village is also expected so that it can continue the waste bin project that the KKN students have created.

Abstract

The waste problem is a reality that often occurs in big cities, such as Yogyakarta. Even though the Special Region of Yogyakarta is a world tourism destination. One tourist attraction that has a waste challenge is Alun-Alun Kidul Yogyakarta. This is because many people do not yet have an understanding of proper waste management. Many visitors to Alun-Alun Kidul Yogyakarta throw rubbish carelessly. Meanwhile, the available trash bins are limited and uneven. This service aims to provide an invitation to the wider community about the dangers and management of waste. Campaign activities were carried out on Friday, April 19 2024 at Alun-alun Kidul Yogyakarta. Based on the implementation of this service, not all visitors and sellers in the area understand about disposing of waste properly. However, the majority of the audience already knows, it just requires more humanistic education. This reality shows that tourists and residents can be agents of change in protecting the environment from waste.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the public speaking skills of Pasundan 1 High School students in Bandung City through public speaking training. The problems faced by students are a lack of understanding and awareness of the importance of public speaking skills, limited opportunities and platforms to apply these skills in the school environment, as well as a more theoretical teaching approach. The solution offered is to hold public speaking seminars and workshops with an interactive and practical approach, as well as encouraging the development of extracurricular programs that focus on improving public speaking skills. This training was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activities showed an increase in students' self-confidence, a reduction in anxiety about speaking in public, as well as an increase in communication skills and critical thinking abilities. This research makes a significant contribution to improving students' public speaking skills, which is vital for their future personal and professional development.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to assist Small and Micro Enterprises (SMEs) in understanding and implementing online-based marketing strategies to increase their product sales. The target of this activity is SMEs operating in Kelurahan Jombang, most of whom are members of the local Posyandu. This activity was conducted in April 2021 and included several educational sessions and hands-on practices on using social media and e-commerce platforms for product marketing. The results of this activity showed an improvement in the participants' understanding and skills in managing online marketing. The participants became more familiar with digital marketing techniques, such as creating engaging content, using social media, and optimizing e-commerce platforms. The implications of this activity are very positive, as SMEs have begun to adopt online marketing in their daily operations. This is expected to increase market reach, expand the customer base, and ultimately boost their sales and income. Furthermore, this activity also strengthens collaboration among SMEs and encourages entrepreneurial spirit within the local community.

Abstract

Pests and plant diseases cause suboptimal growth and development of plants. Usually, the cause of plants not growing and developing optimally is due to pests and diseases that attack and disrupt the plant system. Many farmers still depend on chemical pesticides to control pests and diseases. Besides being expensive, chemical pesticides also have many adverse effects on the environment and human health. Often, plants do not bear fruit, and only the leaves grow thicker. To address this issue, Cinta Rahmi from STIE Ganesha Jakarta conducted counseling on the use of natural pesticides made from citronella for the Women's Farmer Group Garuda in Cipayung Ciputat. The counseling method includes water control, leaf reduction, use of manure, sunlight care, and cleanliness of the plant area. This counseling is expected to reduce farmers' dependence on chemical pesticides and increase environmentally friendly crop yields.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower women in Jombang Village, Ciputat District, by increasing the spirit of entrepreneurship through training and mentoring programs during November 2021. Women from various age and educational backgrounds are involved in this activity. The methods used include business skills training, entrepreneurship workshops, motivational sessions, and ongoing mentoring. The training covers small business management, marketing, and financial management, while the workshop focuses on developing business ideas, business planning, and digital marketing strategies. Motivational sessions increase participants' confidence, and ongoing mentoring provides support to apply the knowledge gained. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in the business knowledge and skills of the participants, who managed to develop innovative business ideas and start small businesses. They also demonstrated improved financial management and marketing skills, helping them manage their businesses more effectively. This program has a positive impact on the economic well-being of individual participants and the local economy. Increasing the spirit of entrepreneurship among women is expected to create more job opportunities and improve the welfare of families and communities. The implications of the activity include economic empowerment, increased independence, and strengthening the role of women in society. Appropriate support enables women to be effective agents of change, so these empowerment programs need to be continuously supported and developed for the sustainability of their positive impact.
