Abstract

Early marriage is a significant sociocultural phenomenon, especially among Muslims, which is influenced by various religious, economic, and social factors. This study aims to analyze the marital satisfaction of couples who married at a young age. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with a survey approach. The data source was taken using a questionnaire from 32 married couples who married at a young age with the category that the husband was under 25 years old at the time of marriage, while the wife was under 21 years old. All data was then analyzed using SPPS Windows Version 20 software. Overall, the statistical analysis results showed that 32 married couples stated that they were satisfied with their partners while building a household. Marital satisfaction in question is measured through six aspects, namely; aspects of communication, conflict resolution, finances, sexual relations, the role of each husband and wife in the family, and religious life. This means that the six aspects used as instrument items in this research were felt to be satisfactory by all married couple after getting married. The results of this study have at least refuted the assumption that marrying at a young age tends to fail. In other words, age at marriage does not determine success in the household. The success of a marriage is determined if the husband and wife know their respective roles and responsibilities well.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how emotional changes in early childhood children after musical treatment and intervention. The author uses the 4D Research and Development method as a research approach to create music products as learning media. The music products produced in this research have been validated and assessed by four experts, related to the fields of educational technology, psychology, language and music. These expert assessments are carried out repeatedly to produce quality products. The product results were then tested in a learning process involving thirty students as research subjects.  All data was analyzed using SPSS 21 software with correlation analysis techniques. The results of the analysis regarding the use of the resulting music products have run well in accordance with the design that has been determined. Furthermore, the results of statistical analysis show that music intervention is proven to stimulate children's emotions in early childhood in the learning process with a value of 0.041. These results show that music intervention in the learning process can be used as an alternative for teachers to stimulate students' emotions, besides that it is necessary to carry out other studies related to this context by future researchers.

Abstract

Arabic language subjects must be studied, but in reality, there are still students who do not understand and master Arabic language learning because there are several problems with it. This research aims to determine the problems experienced by students in learning Arabic. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from twelve informants, including school principals, teachers, and students through individual and group interviews. To strengthen the interview data, the author also made direct observations of teachers and students. All interview and observation data were analyzed using the Milles & Hubberman Interactive Analysis model. Research findings found that there were five problems students in studying Arabic in high school. The five problems are: i) lack of school facilities and infrastructure, ii) negative behavior in learning, iii) low interest in learning, iv) teachers' teaching methods are not innovative, and v) differences in students' diverse backgrounds. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers in studying this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

Early childhood cognitive development is a critical phase that requires appropriate stimulation to support logical thinking abilities and the use of basic concepts. Traditional games such as congklak have the potential to be an effective learning medium. This research aims to evaluate the influence of the conventional media game Congklak Geometric in improving the cognitive development of early childhood. This research uses the Research and Development method with the Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model, which is then tested in a learning process involving fifteen students as research subjects. All data was analysed using correlation analysis techniques with IBM SPSS 25 Software. The results of the analysis regarding the use of geometrically shaped congklak media products show the criteria i) material aspect, 87.50%, ii) cognitive aspect, 82.50%, iii) media aspect, 82.16% with a total average of 84.16%. Furthermore, the results of statistical analysis show that congklak media is proven to be able to stimulate the cognitive development of young children with a focus on geometric shapes in the learning process with a total average of 84.16%. The findings of this research indicate that the geometric congklak game can be integrated into the early childhood education curriculum as an effective strategy to support cognitive development.

Abstract

Teaching modules are instructional tools containing lesson plans that guide the learning process to achieve specific Learning Outcomes. This research aims to evaluate the alignment of fiqh teaching modules with 21st-century skills. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, and data were obtained from Islamic Senior High School fiqh teaching modules. Data analysis involved qualitative techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings show that the fiqh teaching module integrates 21st-century skills, specifically character education, Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) , literacy, and 4C (critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration). Character education includes values like religiosity, independence, cooperation, nationalism, and integrity. HOTS is embedded through operational verbs such as analyze, evaluate, and compare in lesson planning and assessments. Literacy components encompass basic, media, technological, and visual literacies, while the 4C are demonstrated through discussions, presentations, and group activities.

Abstract

The role of higher education is very strategic in shaping the character of students. Religious courses in higher education are expected to contribute significantly to the development of students' Islamic character, especially amidst the challenges of globalisation and secularisation. However, the implementation of Islamic values in the curriculum is still debatable. For this reason, this article aims to analyse the implementation of Islamic character in religion courses in higher education, identify elements that support and hinder, and provide recommendations for more effective curriculum development. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) approach. The data collection process was carried out through searching for relevant articles from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to select eligible articles, resulting in 25 articles being analysed. The results of the analysis showed that religion courses have incorporated some elements of Islamic character, such as honesty, responsibility, and social care. However, there are some challenges in its implementation, such as the lack of training for lecturers, teaching materials that are not in accordance with the context, and low student motivation. This analysis concludes that strengthening Islamic character in religion courses in higher education requires a more holistic and integrated approach. Recommendations for curriculum development include lecturer training, development of contextualised teaching modules, and increased interaction between students and the community. The implications of this research are important to improve the quality of higher education in producing generations with Islamic character.
