Abstract

Manusia dan kebudayaan dapat dikategorikan satu sistem kesatuan yang tidak terpisahkan, sementara itu pendukung dari sebuah kebudayaan adalah manusia itu sendiri. Sekalipun manusia pada hakikatnya akan mati, tetapi kebudayaan yang dimilikinya akan diwariskan pada keturunan, demikian seterusnya. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar IPS yang berbasis kearifan lokal Dhandangan untuk pembentukan karekter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis literatur dengan urutan pengumpulan data dengan mendokumentasikan, memeriksa dari berbagai perpustakaan, dan dianalisis sebagai sumber penelitian. Selanjutnya peneliti melakukan observasi pada obyek penelitian yaitu di masyarakat sekitar masjid manara kudus untuk mendukung dari hasil pendekatan analisis literatur ada tidak kesamaan dan perbedaan dalam hasil penelitian. Penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and development/R&D) adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk (Pengembangan Bahan Ajar IPS Berbasis Nilai Kearifan Lokal Dhandangan Untuk Pembentukan Karakter), dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pembentukan karakter di awali dengan memetakan tujuan pembelajaran IPS di SDN 01 PIJI Kecamatan Dawe Kabupaten Kudus kelaas III dalam pemetaan tujuan pembelajaran IPS diantaranya; bahan ajar IPS berbasis kearifan lokal, buku IPS untuk kelas III SD, standar kompetensi/kompetensidasar, materi/sub unit materi yang dikembangkan, kearifan lokal dhandangan, dan bahan ajar berbasis nilai kearifan lokal dhandangan untuk pembentukan karakter.

Abstract

Dinamika sains, sosial, dan filosofis merupakan aspek yang terus berkembang dalam kehidupan manusia, memengaruhi berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan agama Islam. Studi ini menyoroti hubungan antara perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, dinamika sosial, serta pemikiran filosofis dalam membentuk perspektif pendidikan Islam yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan dengan tantangan zaman. Dengan pendekatan analitis-kritis, artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana integrasi ketiga aspek tersebut dapat memperkaya metode pengajaran dan pemahaman agama Islam dalam sistem pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis untuk mengkaji dinamika sains, sosial, dan filsafat serta relevansinya dengan pendidikan agama Islam. Pendekatan ini dipilih karena memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam dan komprehensif keterkaitan antara perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, perubahan sosial, serta landasan filosofis yang membentuk paradigma integratif dalam pendidikan Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara sains, sosial, dan filsafat tidak hanya memperdalam pemahaman teologis, tetapi juga meningkatkan daya kritis serta adaptasi peserta didik terhadap perkembangan global. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran agama Islam diharapkan tidak hanya berorientasi pada normatifitas ajaran, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan dinamika keilmuan dan sosial agar tetap relevan dan aplikatif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan media DIGITESA (Digital Teka-Teki Silang)  pada materi Pancasila dalam diriku subtema Makna sila Pancasila serta sikap dan perilaku yang mencerminkan pengamalan Pancasila dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan media DIGITESA (Digital Teka-Teki Silang) yang dikembangkan merupakan media permainan edukatif yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi web digital dan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal pretest dan soal posttest yang diberikan kepada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Singocandi. Hasil uji validitas ahli media berada pada kategori sangat sesuai dengan rata-rata 93,7%. Hasil uji validitas ahli materi berada pada kategori sangat sesuai dengan rata-rata 89,5%. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas data diperoleh signifikansi (sig) hasil pretest dan posttest sebesar 0,200 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebaran data dari kedua variabel tersebut terdistribusi normal karena signifikansinya > 0,05 dan memenuhi prasyarat uji normalitas. Sehingga dapat dilanjutkan pada uji N-Gain. Adapun hasil dari uji N-Gain score memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 0,7244 dengan kategori “tinggi”. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain persen sebesar 72,44% dengan kriteria tafsiran keefektifan “cukup efektif”.Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media DIGITESA (Digital Teka-Teki Silang) dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Study was motivated by the gap between conventional teaching approaches and the needs of elementary school students in understanding Pancasila values in a contextual and meaningful way. Many instructional practices remain teacher-centered, lacking the capacity to engage students actively and stimulate their interest. The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of interactive learning media in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Pancasila Education. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group type. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School Number 1 Kaobula, divided into an experimental group and a control group. The research instrument consisted of learning outcome tests administered before and after the intervention. Results revealed that students who learned using interactive learning media demonstrated significantly higher achievement compared to those who received conventional instruction. This difference was further supported by t-test analysis and effect size calculations, which indicated a strong and meaningful impact. Conclusion of this study is that interactive learning media is effective in enhancing students’ understanding of Pancasila values and provides a more engaging, active, and meaningful learning experience within the context of character education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Instilling entrepreneurial values from an early age is a strategic step in shaping students' character and life skills. Economic education at the elementary school level holds great potential as a platform to integrate these values into the learning process. This study aims to examine the effect of integrating entrepreneurial values into teaching on students’ learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group model. The subjects consisted of two groups: an experimental class that received instruction integrated with entrepreneurial values, and a control class that received conventional teaching. Data were collected through learning outcome tests administered before and after the intervention. The analysis results showed a significant difference in student learning outcomes between the two groups. The experimental group demonstrated greater improvement in learning outcomes compared to the control group. A t-test revealed a statistically significant difference, and the effect size calculated using Cohen’s d indicated a strong impact of the treatment. In conclusion, the integration of entrepreneurial values into the learning process proved to be effective in enhancing students’ academic performance and contributed to the development of entrepreneurial character. This approach may serve as an innovative alternative in elementary education curriculum development.

Abstract

A positive and adaptive learning environment plays a crucial role in enhancing the intrinsic motivation of elementary school students. As the primary managers of the classroom, teachers hold a strategic position in creating learning conditions that support students’ emotional, social, and academic needs. This study aims to examine teacher management in fostering a learning environment that promotes students’ intrinsic motivation through five key aspects: structured lesson planning, the creation of a positive classroom atmosphere, the provision of exploratory freedom, the empowerment of student roles, and the adjustment to individual needs. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method through semi-structured interviews with five elementary school teachers from various grade levels. The findings indicate that teachers have implemented student-centered learning approaches through flexible and responsive strategies. Teachers design lesson plans based on students’ needs, create a safe and enjoyable classroom climate, and provide space for students to express themselves and take active roles. Challenges faced include limited time, large class sizes, and diverse student characteristics. Nevertheless, teachers strive to establish a supportive learning environment that motivates students to engage in independent and meaningful learning. This study highlights the importance of adaptive teacher management in enhancing intrinsic motivation among elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the representation of nationalism values in informational texts of the Grade III Indonesian language textbook based on the Kurikulum Merdeka. Using a qualitative content analysis approach, the research focused on identifying key nationalism values such as patriotism, unity, appreciation of national symbols, and respect for cultural diversity. The primary data source was the textbook “Bahasa Indonesia: Kawan Seiring”, published by the Ministry of Education in 2022. The findings reveal that these values are presented both narratively and contextually, primarily through stories and descriptions of students’ everyday activities. Patriotism and cultural diversity appeared most frequently and were embedded in relatable and age-appropriate content. However, the textbook showed limited representation of national symbols and heroes, indicating a need for more balanced ideological content. Despite this gap, the study concludes that the textbook has the potential to support the internalization of civic and national values among elementary school students. By integrating character education into language learning, the book contributes not only to literacy development but also to shaping students’ national identity. These insights are expected to serve as valuable input for teachers, textbook writers, and policymakers in creating more value-oriented learning materials.

Abstract

The success of elementary education is determined not only by cognitive instruction but also by the development of students’ social interaction, learning motivation, and learning skills. These three aspects are interrelated and play a vital role in supporting effective learning behavior. This study aims to describe the relationship between social interaction, learning motivation, and learning skills among elementary school students. A quantitative descriptive method was applied, involving a randomly selected group of 27 students. Data were collected through a validated questionnaire and analyzed with statistical software using descriptive tests, normality tests, and correlation tests. The findings show that all variables fall into the high category with normally distributed data. The study also reveals a strong and significant positive relationship between social interaction, learning motivation, and learning skills. These results highlight that students with stronger social engagement and higher learning motivation tend to demonstrate better learning skills. This study emphasizes the importance of creating a learning environment that fosters social development and enhances motivation in order to optimize both academic and personal growth at the elementary education level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the science abilities of group B children before and after the implementation of the free inquiry method at TK Negeri Pembina Bungi. The background of this research lies in the importance of developing science skills from an early age as a foundation for shaping children’s critical, logical, and creative thinking. The free inquiry method was chosen because it allows children to directly explore phenomena in their surroundings, making learning experiences more meaningful and in line with their cognitive development stage. The study employed an experimental approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation. The subjects were group B children who actively participated in learning activities using the free inquiry method. Prior to treatment, the children’s science skills were still at an early stage, particularly in understanding basic concepts such as recognizing colors. The findings revealed that there was a notable improvement after the implementation of the free inquiry method. The children not only achieved the expected level of development but some of them also demonstrated very good progress. This indicates that the free inquiry method is effective in enhancing children’s science abilities, as it encourages active involvement, curiosity, and critical thinking skills from an early age. Therefore, free inquiry learning can serve as an alternative instructional strategy to support the achievement of early childhood education goals, particularly in the field of science development.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Monday–Thursday fasting in enhancing the religiosity of students at Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School. Fasting, a recommended sunnah practice in Islam, is not only viewed as an act of worship but also as a medium for instilling discipline, moral integrity, and spiritual awareness. The pesantren setting provides a unique context where routine religious practices can serve as instruments of character education, shaping students to be both knowledgeable and virtuous. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the practice of Monday–Thursday fasting contributes to the development of students’ spiritual awareness, self-control, and moral character. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using interviews with teachers and caregivers as the primary data source, supported by observation and documentation. The findings reveal that fasting fosters consistency in performing daily religious obligations, such as congregational prayers and Qur’an recitation, while also strengthening students’ patience, humility, and empathy. Teachers highlighted that fasting not only deepens students’ understanding of the meaning of worship but also helps them balance academic responsibilities with spiritual growth. Overall, the program is recognized as an effective character education strategy that aligns with the pesantren’s vision of nurturing a generation that is both intellectually competent and morally upright.
