Jurnal Pengabdian Agro and Marine Industry (JPAMI) merupakan jurnal pengabdian perdana lingkup Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Teuku Umar. Jurnal ini memuat hasil-hasil pengabdian masyarakat baik yang dilakukan oleh dosen, dan atau mahasiswa-dosen. Adapun bidang kajiannya meliputi output pengabdian masyarakat baik berupa produk, protype, model dan output lainnya, khususnya di bidang agro/pertanian, marine/perikanan dan industry/UMKM-Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah. Namun demikian tidak menutup kemungkinan dari rumpun ilmu lain pada umumnya dan diutamakan yang subjeknya masih terkait dengan pertanian, perikanan dan industry. Lebih jauh lagi objek pengabdian berada dalam lingkup desa/daerah sekitar kampus, Kawasan Baersela/Barat Selatan Provinsi Aceh, Provinsi Aceh sendiri, Indonesia bahkan luar negeri. Publikasi jurnal pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan para dosen dan mahasiswa dapat berkontribusi dalam masyarakat dan pada akhirnya masyarakat dapat menerapkan output hasil pengabdian tersebut untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat menuju perekonomian yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The increasing use of electrical equipment has an impact on increasing the need for electrical power. This is not followed by the development of electrical installations in residential homes as required in PUIL. Conditions that occur in many communities including in Gampong Panggong, and held as one of the trigger factors for fires caused by electricity.The initial survey of the problem was conducted to get an overview and then held discussions with Gampong Panggong officials to formulate the existing problems.This method is used to solve existing problems.The follow-up is to socialize the security of electrical installations in simple residences. At the end of socialization, an evaluation of people's understanding of the material submitted. Devotional activities in the form of socialization of electricity use properly and correctly in accordance with PUIL to the community. The achievement of socialization goals is characterized by increasing public knowledge of electrical safety factors, the use of appropriate equipment SNI and efforts to avoid the risk of fire due to electricity. Lack of understanding of electricity use properly and correctly due to the lack of information obtained by the public.

Abstract

Paitan fish (Mystacoleucus marginatus) cultivation is an effort to utilize peat swamps that have economic prospects and support ecosystem conservation. Paitan fish thrive in fresh to brackish water. This fish is in demand by the coastal communities of Aceh Jaya to Singkil. The activity method uses discussion and counseling for farmers and fishermen in Jeumpheuk Village. The target of the activity is the performance of economic analysis of Paitan fish farming in peat waters so that it can be applied to increase family income. The results of the simulation activity obtained that the production cost of the cage system Paitan fish farming was IDR 4,164,600,-. The yield is estimated at 123 kg/harvest season with a selling price of IDR 72,000 and an income of IDR 8,832,000. The revenue is IDR 4,667,400/harvest season, the R/C ratio is 1.12, BEP production is 57.84 kg, and the BEP price is IDR 33,951/kg.

Abstract

Village boundaries are the boundaries of government administration areas between one village and another. Village administrative boundaries become very important along with the advancement of regional development and growth in the region. The purpose of this PKM activity is the availability of village boundary maps in printed form to support village governments in carrying out government functions, planning and policies. Making village maps involves the village and surrounding communities. The results of this village mapping activity can be carried out and completed properly. The results of the evaluation of activities, the resulting map is representative for the needs of village administration. The village government was very happy and stated that this activity was very useful and in the future there will be further activities, with the output targets of hamlet boundary maps, land use and road names.

Abstract

Research-based service activities in the form of and assistance in terms of strengthening the institutional capacity of fisherman groups. The participants involved in this activity were 15 people from local village officials, fisherman group administrators and BUMDES administrators in the village. The methods used in this training include: lectures, questions and answers, and forum discussion groups (FGD). This service activity in particular has led to the achievement of several objectives including: in the cognitive aspect, there has been an increase in the understanding of the participants regarding the operational steps for strengthening the institutional capacity of fishermen groups, such as in terms of administrative activities, community empowerment activities, designing collaborative activities, utilizing aid from the government, and the establishment of an organizational structure along with the roles and functions within the institutional structure. In the practical aspect, it appears that there is a strong desire and awareness for fishing groups to increase the institutional capacity of fishing groups through various steps taken from what was conveyed during the service activity

Abstract

The clearing and use of peatlands is carried out extensively and pays moreattention to economic value but marginalizes its ecological function which causes damage to peatlands. Community empowerment is expected to make people wiser in managing peat. The location of the service is in Cot Mee Village, Tadu Raya District, Nagan Raya Regency. The method used is discussion, going to the field, and making demonstration plots. Field results show that most of the peatlands in Cot Mee Village have experienced drought, due to a lack of knowledge in managing the peat ecosystem. There are two (2) is valuable commodity cultivated corn and pineapple, with revenue cost ratio (R / C ratio) for commodity corn amounted to 1.904 and 2.162 of pineapple.

Abstract

Libraries have an important role in improving the quality of Human Resources. One of the successes of an educational institution in providing and running a learning service process can be seen from the library management system provided. This socialization and discussion activity was carried out at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Ar Raniry, Banda Aceh City. It aims to improve the ability of library managers to manage libraries in an organized and modern way, able to identify important things in solving various problems that occur in the management and development of school libraries. The technical preparation of library work plans in the industrial era 4.0, using the SWOT Analysis Method so that the advantages and disadvantages can be mapped properly and self-evaluation of library staff and implementing agencies can be recorded properly. The technical activity of preparing a library work plan is expected to make professional librarian staff ready to face library problems that continue to develop.

Abstract

High school students are part of generation Z or digital native where their daily lives are very familiar with digitalisation technology. The negative impact of technology and the contribution of unemployment rates to senior high school equivalents is also a big homework for West Aceh District and most of the city districts in Indonesia. Starting from this through community service programs intend to take an active role in efforts to reduce negative impacts and reduce numbers unemployment through socialization activities character of entrepreneurship and digitalization. Activities carried out through socialization, question and answer by the method Presentation and discussion. This method was chosen so that the writer as a speaker can convey important concepts to be understood and mastered by participants.The result of this program is understanding how to grow entrepreneurial character through digital technology so that it becomes a young entrepreneur with creative power, innovative observant in seeing, finding and exploiting business opportunities to play a role in reducing unemployment. Abstract

This community development program is implemented by the lecturers of  Management Department of Teuku Umar University in collaboration with SMK Negeri 1 Meureubo. It is conducted in order to build a synergy between the world of higher education and vocational schools to improve the quality of human resources. There are three specific objectives of implementing this activity, namely; provide an understanding to vocational students about the industrial revolution 4.0, at the same time students know what skills must be prepared to be able to compete in the industrial revolution 4.0 and in the end the participants are expected to be able to share their understanding and knowledge from this activity is for their academic and social environment. This activity was attended by antusiatic students and the school authorities who really appreciated this activity because it broadened students' knowledge  towards the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This kind of activities are expected to be carried out in a sustainable manner to generate bigger impact on improving the quality of human resources for SMK graduates in West Aceh District.

Abstract

Community service activities (CSA) are a medium for delivering science and technology to the public. The implementation of this service is carried out by Lecturers of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Teuku Umar University. The implementation of this PKM with the theme of Commercialization of Agriculture is located in the Gampong Leukeun area, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The purpose of this Community Service is to give an overview to the Gampong Community about the importance of Agricultural Commercialization and as an initial effort to increase the commercial capacity of agricultural products by providing guidance and assistance. After the service is carried out, it is hoped that village apparatus and the community can understand and be able to apply it in Gampong Leukeun. Efforts are needed to narrow the gap so that the level of inequality in community groups in the village can be met, such as productivity gaps, digital inequality, data and information agriculture, Digital Agriculture and Millennials. for example through mentoring, intensive counseling and capacity building in farmer groups.
