Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in culture, even each region or tribe has its own culture. Local wisdom is the cultural wealth that exists in the area itself and is very extraordinary. Therefore, every student must be proud and not only recognize his own culture, but the role of the student must be to practice and be obliged to promote it to foreign cultures. If students do not study their own culture, it will result in a loss of national identity. This service is carried out by researchers using qualitative methods that focus on providing basic material, theories related to sub-themes such as traditional games and fairy tales using wayang golek media. It describes the ongoing service process by raising the theme of the noble cultural values of local wisdom contained in the fairy tales and traditional sports games. This activity was attended by 700 students

Abstract

General elections (Pemilu) in Indonesia serve as a cornerstone of democracy, allowing citizens to voice their political aspirations. The electoral process involves the organization by institutions such as the General Election Commission and the Election Supervisory Body. Political participation, particularly from young voters, plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of democracy. Community service at SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung, Gowa Regency, is aimed at enhancing the understanding of young voters regarding political participation, especially leading up to the 2024 elections. Utilizing the Pre-Post Test Design method with questionnaires as data collection instruments, the activity includes pre-tests, workshops, and post-tests to evaluate the effectiveness of community service. Evaluation results show an improvement in students' understanding from the "Fair" category in the pre-test to "Good" in the post-test, with an increase ranging from 14-22 percent. This success reflects the effectiveness of political education activities in schools, supporting the creation of a politically aware society. Recommendations involve expanding similar activities to other schools with tailored approaches, aiming to optimize political awareness among young voters more broadly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of Information Communication Technology in the development of regional potential and the sustainability of MSMEs in Padoang-Doangan Village. The data used in the study is a type of Quantitative data, where the data is obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents related to the problem being studied. Observation and distribution of questionnaires were carried out with the aim of collecting data. The results of research and data analysis using statistical calculations with SPPS (Statistical Package for the Social Science), the significance value of X on Y1 is 0.006 where 0.006 <0.05 while the tcount value is obtained at - 3.026 < ttable value 2.060. While X on Y2 is 0.00 < 0.05 where the tcount is -22.385 < ttable 2.060. So the author draws the conclusion that ICT has no effect on the development of regional potential and the sustainability of MSMEs in Padoang-Doangan Village, Pangkep Regency.

Abstract

The Association of Indonesian Students in Thailand (Permitha) Node Khon Kaen has a health and sports division, but there are no health promotion activities. In fact, there have been 3 cases of member morbidities and they were handled incorrectly without paying attention to the urgency, severity, or emergency. Therefore, community service implementers provide health education on early detection and initial handling of emergencies. The method of this activity is pretest-posttest design with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The participants were selected by accidental sampling as many as 11 people. The collected data were processed and analyzed using mean, standard deviation, median, minimum value and maximum value for univariate analysis. The bivariate analysis was carried out using paired sample t-test. The results of data analysis showed that the majority of participants were non-health graduate students (54.5%) living in off-campus apartments (72.7%), and aged less than 26.5 years (63.6%). The mean knowledge score after counseling was higher than before counseling by 3.36 points (95% CI: 2.11 to 4.61; p-value < 0.001). In conclusion, the health education on early detection and early treatment of emergencies was successful in increasing participants' knowledge.

Abstract

Community service activities aim to provide understanding to the community related to social capital strategies in the institutional development of Bumdes as resilience to local economic development in order to build solid networks and cooperation among village community members. The implementation of community service activities uses the lecture and discussion method which is carried out in 2 stages, namely the stages of service planning activities, and the stages of implementation activities. The strategy of strengthening local economic development through social capital and Village-Owned Enterprises ( BUMDes) is implemented through community empowerment, participatory approach, social capital development, local business development, use of technology and innovation, promotion of local products, and monitoring and evaluation, which means that social capital strategies can play a role in developing BUMDes institutions. In addition, the implementation of this activity has run smoothly and community members have welcomed this activity.

Abstract

Teaching materials and learning media play an active role and are needed in the world of education. Moreover, the world has just been attacked with news of the covid-19 virus, which has resulted in teaching and learning to be carried out online. Many mediations are used by educators in enlightening the nation's children. Including learning strategies and the emergence of online learning media called LMS such as Moodle, Goggle classroom, Edmodo, Schoolagy, SevimaEdlink and there are also online applications such as Youtube and Whatsapps which can also be used in online learning. This activity was carried out in Kaba Village, Kec. District Commander. Pangkep and the participants were the surrounding community, totaling 17 people. The method of delivering material is in the form of lectures, discussions and simulations. The results of the activity show that socialization activities can increase public knowledge about teaching materials and learning media that can be used during the pandemic. Abstract

Hypertension and diabetes millitus are risk factors for chronic kidney disease and are still a problem in the Abeli Sub-District, including in Abeli Village. Chronic Kidney Disease can be prevented, one of which is physical activity. Increasing knowledge about chronic kidney disease is also very important to shape behavior towards preventing chronic kidney disease. This community development aims to increase community knowledge and health in Abeli village in order to prevent chronic kidney disease. The solutions offered include healthy exercise movements and health education about chronic kidney disease, as well as distribution of leaflets about chronic kidney disease. The movement to prevent chronic kidney disease was carried out in May 2024, and was attended by 27 PKK women in Abeli Village. PKM participants from PKK mothers were aged between 33-69 years. Most of the participants had junior high school education (35.3%), and the remainder had high school education (23.5%), bachelor's degree (17.6%), 11.8% elementary school education, and 11.8% had no school education. The results of this service activity showed that there was a significant increase in participants' knowledge about chronic kidney disease (p value <0.0001). The average knowledge before the health education was 3.94 ± SD 2.08 and after the health education the average increased to 9.18 ± SD 1.02. Community service activities with exercise movements and health education as well as distribution of leaflets about chronic kidney disease can increase participants' knowledge about chronic kidney disease. Increased knowledge will shape behavior towards preventing chronic kidney disease.

Abstract

Socialization of slum upgrading plays an important role in making people aware of the need to take part in beautifying the area where they live. This service aims to analyze the socialization of slum upgrading in Oimbo Village, Bima City, conducted by a team of lecturers from Mbojo University, Bima. There are several stages of socialization as a form of awareness, namely: (a) about slums and their characteristics and indicators, (b) things that need to be done in order not to be categorized as a slum, (c) the need for community participation in the arrangement of slum villages, (d) the role of the government as a facilitator. This socialisation is the first step in raising community awareness and there will be further socialisation. In conclusion, community awareness plays a vital role in creating through socialization programs from government agencies, the private sector, and entrepreneurs

Abstract

Dedication to the community is one of the key obligations of the lecturer specified in the Tri Darma, in addition to teaching and conducting research, therefore Dedication To the Society becomes a routine agenda item that the docent will complete rather than teach and conduct research. ADVERTISI is an organization that encourages Docents to dedicate their time to the community in collaboration with the Government of Kabupataen Pangkep, specifically in the village of Bowong Cindea, which is located in the district of Bungoro, Pangkajene islands. The objective of this dedication is to impart knowledge and awareness of how to organize and manage family finances in the UKM group and to the Society, in particular to the home moms. The activities of dedication to this community include lectures, conversations, and questions and answers.This exercise covers how to effectively manage family money and how attempts are made to enhance family income, one of which is through other productive businesses or investment. This dedication includes a group of household women in particular who own the UMKM firm, as well as the PKK Movement's Head. The community of the village of Bowong Cindea and present also the head of the Village Bowong Cindea along with the staff of the Town of Bowung Cindee, on this occasion the lecturer suggests and delivers responses from the House Mothers for the management of Halal Label/Label Halal. Must meet administrative standards such as the Business Number (NIB).

Abstract

Muhammadiyah Da'wah prioritizes renewal and fostering the religion of the people in a broad context, including the worldly aspects of mu'amalah. Through the establishment of charitable businesses such as schools, hospitals and orphanages, Muhammadiyah integrates Islamic teachings into everyday life. The Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) plays an important role in da'wah, especially in developing students through religious and social activities. However, there are challenges such as religious and health knowledge among IPM administrators that need to be addressed. Through the Jamaah and Congregational Da'wah Movement (GJDJ), training and mentoring are designed to increase understanding of religion and health, as well as overcome promiscuity among students. The methods used include needs analysis, module creation and validation, and training implementation. The results show increased awareness and active participation of students, strengthening of religion, and management capacity. Suggestions for improvement include increasing the quality of materials, use of technology, parental involvement, and regular evaluation. It is hoped that the implementation of these recommendations can improve the effectiveness of the IPM da'wah program in forming better student character.
