Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews with teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Ulu Idanotae where researchers obtained information that the ability to understand students' concepts was low, making it difficult for students to explain math problems, this is evidenced by the average student test scores. only around 59 with sufficient category. This study aims to find out how students' understanding abilities when using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research design used is the One-Shot Case Study. The research instrument used was a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The number of population in this study is 215 people with a large sample of 36 people taken using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the research, after learning in class using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model, it was obtained that the average ability to understand students' mathematical concepts was 75.38 which was in the good category. This is inversely proportional to the average ability to understand students' mathematical concepts when making initial observations, which were only around 59 in the sufficient category. It can be shown that the mathematical understanding ability of students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulu Idanotae increased when learning was implemented using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model.

Abstract

Cash is the company's most liquid asset and plays a significant role in funding the company's operations compared to other investments, so cash control is needed within the company. Companies with organizational management where internal controls can control errors in carrying out the profession to protect cash from misuse efforts from when cash is received until it is disbursed. LP3M Superior Polytechnic is a private tertiary institution whose primary income is the payment of student tuition fees. The research method uses the descriptive analysis method. The test results show that the cash receipts internal control system is effective, contrary to the cash disbursement internal control. At the same time, the internal control system for cash disbursements has not been effective because there are still elements of Internal Control within the company that have not been fully implemented, including placing the cashier in the same room as other employees, which should be separate and have a separate room as accounting control.

Abstract

This study focused on "Analysis of Civics and Curriculum Textbooks" as a Learning Resource for Citizenship Education in Class XI Students of SMK Negeri 6 Palu. The purpose of this research; (1) the contents of PPKn textbook material as a learning resource for class XI students at SMK Negeri 6 Palu (2) the suitability of the material with curriculum updates as a learning resource for class XI students at SMK. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used direct communication techniques, direct observation techniques, and documentary techniques. The data collection tools used were interview guides, observation guides, and documentation. The research results show that; contents of PPKn and Curriculum textbook material as learning resources for class XI students of SMK Negeri 6 Palu, namely suitability of material with Competency standards (SK) and Basic Competence (KD), suitability of material with curriculum, accuracy of material, encouraging student curiosity, scientific substance and life skills, as well as enrichment of the benefits of PPKn and Curriculum textbooks as learning resources for class XI Negeri 6 Palu students namely, as serious learning materials, as easy teaching materials, for teachers textbooks mean security, guidance and assistance in the learning process.

Abstract

A service study entitled Application of Digital Literacy for Youth in SMA Negeri 1 Gamping. The adolescent development phase of high school age students is in middle adolescence, namely at the age of 15-18 years. Most internet users are teenagers. Community Service was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Gamping on November 16 2022. Based on a preliminary study by analyzing the needs of students in high school, namely the need for a more detailed understanding of digital literacy. The activities of students in using the internet need more attention. This is the background for holding a Seminar on Digital Literacy for teenagers. The provision of information about digital literacy is expected to have a positive influence on adolescent students, especially teenagers.

Abstract

Issues in the realm of religion have always been a topic of discussion that has its own charm. This study aims to explain religious experience in the 5.0 era. but with the perspective of Joachim Wach This research is a library research with a descriptive philosophical analysis method, while the theory used is the theory of religious experience according to Joachim Wach. The data collection technique used was documentation literature study. From this research we identify that religious experience can be expressed in the form of action, besides that religious expressions that appear are not only related to ritual matters, but also related to social realities such as being able to be tolerant, not exclusive and have a soul. good social. This research begins by looking at the current religious phenomenon which is the starting point of this research. The results of this study are that religious experience influences human behavior in the era of Smart Society 5.0, collaborating religious values and technological advances can produce progress for mankind.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the Direct Instruction learning model has not been optimally applied to the Basic Competency of Implementing Wood Construction Work Procedures and student learning outcomes are limited to achieving KKM, namely 70. Research objectives: (1) To describe the learning process by applying the Direct Instruction learning model to Basic Competency Implementing Wood Construction Work Procedures at Lotu 1 State Vocational High School for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, and (2) To find out student learning outcomes in the Basic Competency of Applying Wood Construction Work Procedures at Lotu 1 State Vocational School for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu with research subjects of class X-DPIB students, totaling 22 students. The instruments in this study were observation sheets of the learning process (teacher respondents), observation sheets of student activity, photo documentation, and practical activity tests. With the data analysis technique, namely the observation sheet is processed with a Likert scale and the learning achievement test is carried out by a practical activity test. The results of the study: (1) In the first cycle, the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) was 73.21%, the average percentage of observations of student activity was 48.44%, the average calculated learning outcomes was 66.57 with a percentage of student completeness of 45% and this result has not reached the target that has been set, namely 70. (2) While in cycle II (two) the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) is 85.71%, the average percentage observation of student activity is 83.10%, the average student learning outcomes is 83.10 which is categorized as good with a complete percentage of student learning outcomes of 100% and has reached the set target of 70. From the research findings above it can be concluded that by applying the Direct Instruction learning model in the Basics of Building Construction and Soil Measurement Techniques Basic Competency of Applying Wood Construction Work Procedures can improve student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu.

Abstract

Organizing learning for teachers who have the role of designing or designing learning, carrying out learning, and assessing learning in carrying out assignments is required not only to seek intellectual abilities/intelligence, skills, but also to have good character behavior attitudes. Likewise in learning Citizenship Education (Civics) from these needs this research was conducted to describe building integrated knowledge to develop the character of students in learning Citizenship Education. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 27, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency. Sampling technique using snowball sampling Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research revealed that the process of building integrated knowledge developing character is applied in teacher activities using trigger questions asking moral experiences to connect students with learning material, conducting studies of subject matter by presenting problems in society, events that occur in society, local community culture, customary values -moral values in society. Obstacles faced by the ability of teachers who only focus on understanding the management of learning on knowledge of the material being studied and have not been solidly integrated for developing student character, the use of learning resources still depends on the teacher has not varied for students to find and practice character, and the hours of Civics lessons are limited. Learning efforts are carried out using problems that occur in society, local wisdom culture, moral values that have become customary in the community in facilitating studies to serve learning in finding material information and making students discover the characters that must be possessed from their environment.

Abstract

Young women, who tend to become mothers will be more affected by anemia because they tend to get pregnant and give birth. blood supplement tablet supplementation program for young women, one of the government's efforts to ensure adequate iron intake to prevent anemia. Before administering Blood Supplement Tablets, adolescents should be given information about anemia in Blood Supplement Tablets, as well as guidance or supervision during the administration of Blood Supplement Tablets. The purpose of this research is to describe the results of monitoring and educating the administration of blood supplement tablets. The writing method is in the form of case studies on adolescents with anemia. The results of this case study showed an increase in hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. The control card is filled in according to the date of taking the medicine and signed by the parents. With this case study, it is hoped that nursing interventions related to the method of increasing hemoglobin levels in young women with anemia can be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Application of PPKn Curriculum and Textbooks in Al-Azhar Mandiri High School Palu, especially in grade XI. The research uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques, namely by observation. The results of the research (1) The curriculum applied at SMA Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu is the 2013 curriculum, as for the curriculum that has been applied at SMA Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu, namely, the KBK Curriculum, the KTSP Curriculum, and the 2013 Curriculum which is valid to date. However, in 2022 it began to adopt several things from the Independent Curriculum, for example, regarding formative assessments, defensive learning (2) The PPKn textbooks used in this school adjust to the applicable curriculum, and see the suitability of the material from the student and teacher handbook PPKn books with the achievement of Competency Standards and Basic Competencies of students and students.

Abstract

"The Basic Law of Human Stupidity" explores the deplorable state of human affairs throughout history and identifies a powerful yet unorganized group within the human race that perpetuates unnecessary troubles and miseries. This group, operating without leadership or regulations, functions in perfect unison, amplifying the detrimental effects of each member's actions. This book seeks to understand the nature, character, and behavior of this group, providing insights to neutralize its impact on human welfare and happiness. It is important to note that this work is not an exercise in cynicism or defeatism, but rather a constructive effort to shed light on and address a significant obstacle to human progress.
