Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the palm oil plantation industry and its social impacts on local communities in Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. Palm oil plantations have become an important economic sector in the region, contributing significantly to the local and national economy. However, on the other hand, the expansion of this industry has also given rise to a variety of complex social and environmental problems. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis to examine the socio-economic impacts on local communities. The results show an increase in the economic welfare of local communities through job creation and infrastructure improvements. However, negative impacts such as land conflicts, environmental degradation, and changes in culture and traditional livelihoods were also found. This study underlines the need for more sustainable and equitable policies in the management of palm oil plantations to minimize negative impacts on local communities and the environment in Jambi Province.

Abstract

Economic growth is a macro indicator to see real economic performance in a region. The rate of economic growth can be calculated based on changes in GRDP at constant prices for the year in question compared to the previous year. Economic growth can be seen as an increase in the number of goods and services produced by all business fields of economic activity in a region during a year. This research aims to determine the leading agricultural sector in Batang Hari district, Jambi Province in the period 2019 and 2021 . This research uses quantitative research methods with Location Quotient (LQ) analysis which is used to determine leading and non-leading sectors using Statistical Location Quotient ( SLQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) to analyze calculations of ADHK GRDP in Batang Hari Regency.

Abstract

The younger generation in Indonesia plays a pivotal role in building the ecosystem of the halal industry, with a focus on technological innovation, entrepreneurship, Sharia financial education, and business ethics. This research, using a qualitative method, aims to discuss the development of the halal industry in Indonesia and the strategic role of the younger generation. The research findings indicate Indonesia's significant potential in the halal industry based on the majority Muslim population, natural resources, and government support. The younger generation's role in innovation and social responsibility is key to the growth of the halal industry, positioning Indonesia as a global leader in halal product consumption

Abstract

Marketing mix (marketing mix) is used to achieve marketing objectives. Using a qualitative research method, a descriptive approach. The findings show that the implementation of the marketing mix increases the sales volume at the Kita Family Building Store, namely in terms of products it still focuses on building equipment such as cement, sand, bricks, etc. Marketing it using media is very simple and according to the Islamic Economics Perspective, the implementation of the marketing mix for Our Family Building Store is in accordance with Islamic marketing. To a large extent, the concept of Islamic marketing is in accordance, namely in terms of products, always being honest and prioritizing product quality. In terms of price, set the price according to the quality of the product. then in terms of promotion, always emphasize ethics in business, don't cheat, don't sell products that are forbidden by religion, never force consumers to buy their products, don't badmouth other people's businesses in marketing their products and from distribution places/channels, namely providing a sense of comfort and easy access for consumers.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how people in the Islamic economy feel about the Akulaku app's PayLater feature. And to get a breakdown of how Akulaku PayLater is being utilised. The methodology of this study is qualitative. This research uses observation, interviews, and documentation to gather information. While data visualisation and reduction are used for analysis. According to the findings of this research, Akulaku users can benefit from the convenience of Akulaku PayLater's on-time payment options by taking advantage of the company's bailout funds. Akulaku PayLater continues to impose unnecessary costs on its customers by charging interest on past due balances and other fees with every purchase. The Qardh and Prohibition of Transactions in the Islamic economy state that akulaku PayLater is not permitted because it contains elements that are detrimental to the user, so the app's use is prohibited if it is banned in the Islamic economy.

Abstract

The current complex regional development has encouraged intense competition between regions. To improve people's welfare, local governments need to increase the competitiveness of their regions. the measure of measuring regional economic growth is known as the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP). The purpose of the research conducted by the current author is to measure differences in the development of economic growth in the province of West Sumatra and the districts/cities of West Pasaman using the SLQ & DLQ analytical method, analysis shift shares. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The data used are secondary data, namely research data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sumatra Province and West Pasaman Regency/City in the form of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data on the basis of constant prices (ADHK). ). The data used are 2018 & 2022, namely research by analyzing the data tested statistically and interpreting them in the form of descriptive sentences. Results from SLQ & DLQ analysts Based on the combined results of SLQ and DLQ analysis during the 2018 & 2022 observation period, the DLQ value> 1. This means that almost all economic sectors have the potential for faster development, and other economic sectors have a DLQ <1, which means that a commodity or sector with a score less than one is not a regional leading sector and still needs special attention for development.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an important part of the economy of a country or region, including Indonesia. The development of the MSME sector provides its own meaning in efforts to increase economic growth and in efforts to reduce the poverty rate in a country. The role of sharia microfinance plays an important role in business development for MSMEs. The aim is to find out whether MSME actors have run their businesses using sharia microfinancing and what role sharia microfinance plays in business development for these MSME actors. This research is field research using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The interview this time consisted of several MSME actors in the Telanaipura District, Jambi City. The results of this research are MSME actors in Telanaipura District who have run their businesses by carrying out sharia micro financing and the important role of sharia micro financing in business development for these MSME actors.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a crucial factor in enhancing the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the era of globalization. Digital technology enables MSMEs to innovate, improve efficiency, and expand markets. However, many MSMEs face challenges in adopting this technology, such as limited resources and resistance to change. Sharia-based human resource management (HRM), which emphasizes justice and welfare, can provide solutions in creating a productive and harmonious work environment. This study aims to fill the gap in the literature regarding the interaction between digital transformation and Sharia HRM on MSME performance, with the moderation of organizational culture. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a case study on MSMEs in Cileungsi, involving 100 randomly selected respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The SEM test results show that digital transformation and Sharia HRM have a significant effect on MSME performance. Organizational culture has a strong moderating role, strengthening the positive impact of digital transformation and Sharia HRM on MSME performance. The results indicate that the integration between digital transformation and Sharia HRM, supported by a strong organizational culture, can enhance productivity, operational efficiency, as well as employee satisfaction and motivation. This study emphasizes the importance of adopting digital technology and applying Sharia principles in HRM to improve MSME performance, with organizational culture as an essential supporting factor. These findings provide practical guidance for MSME actors in developing strategies that improve efficiency and employee welfare.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze how maqashid sharia is implemented in preparing the financial reports of BPRS Al Salaam Cileungsi. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, through field research by examining published sharia financial reports and conducting interviews with management. Objectives in preparing sharia financial reports at BPRS Al Salaamin accordance with maqashid sharia, namely to fulfill the goal comprehensively in providing useful information to stakeholders. The objectives of sharia financial reporting include three levels, namely primary (dharuriyat), secondary (tahsiniyah), and tertiary (hajiyat). The primary aspect is very useful in providing financial information, that all financial institution activities come from halal sources. Meanwhile, the secondary aspect is able to provide additional information regarding compliance with sharia principles, as a form of protection for property development through contracts that comply with sharia principles. In the aspect of fulfilling the tertiary level, it shows that there is an urgency in presenting the assets owned by BPRS Al Salaam in a transparent and accountable manner, as an effort to be accountable to humans and Allah SWT, so as to provide benefits to more people. Compliance with these three aspects of maqashid sharia is a manifestation of benefit in the management of BPRS Al Salaam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital marketing strategies on customer loyalty within the e-commerce industry. As the e-commerce sector rapidly grows in the digital age, companies face intense competition and must implement effective strategies to attract and retain customers. This research focuses on key digital marketing strategies, including social media use, content marketing, personalization, and customer data utilization, and examines how these elements influence customer loyalty. The study also reviews the tools and methods e-commerce companies use to enhance loyalty, such as loyalty programs, behavior monitoring, and tailored marketing campaigns. Case studies of successful e-commerce companies that have improved customer loyalty through these strategies are analyzed, alongside a review of existing literature supported by statistical data. The findings show that effective digital marketing strategies positively impact customer loyalty by leveraging social media, engaging content, personalized experiences, and strategic use of customer data. These approaches help build strong, lasting relationships between e-commerce companies and their customers, leading to reduced churn rates, improved retention, and increased sales. The article provides valuable insights for e-commerce businesses looking to design and implement effective digital marketing strategies, offering a competitive edge in the crowded digital marketplace.
