Abstract

Implementation of Differentiated Learning of the Independent Curriculum in History Subjects in Class X-A of SMA Negeri 4 Palu. Thesis. History Education Study Program, Department of Social Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Supervisor Idrus A Rore. This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum in History subjects in class X-A of SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of this study, the implementation of differentiated learning in the independent curriculum in history subjects in class X shows that the understanding of history teachers at SMA Negeri 4 Palu regarding the concept of differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum is quite good but still needs to be improved. Teachers understand that differentiation aims to adapt learning to the needs, interests, and readiness of students, and implement it through varied assignments, student grouping, and the use of different media. However, the implementation still faces obstacles such as limited time, facilities, and a large number of students, as well as some teachers who do not fully understand this concept. Nevertheless, support in the form of training and teacher discussions has helped increase student motivation and engagement in history learning.

Abstract

Psychological Well-Being (PWB) refers to the psychological state of an individual characterized by self-acceptance, positive relations, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth (Ryff, 1989). Among older adults, PWB plays a crucial role in determining quality of life and resilience in facing physical and social changes. This study aimed to describe the level of PWB among older adults. A cross-sectional descriptive design was applied with 35 participants at a community-based elderly health post in East Java, Indonesia, during May–July 2022. Findings showed that nearly one-third of respondents (28.6%) had low levels of PWB, while only 17.1% were in the very high category. These results suggest that factors such as age, low education, and unemployment contribute to decreased PWB. Recent studies further highlight the importance of resilience, social support, religiosity, and meaningful activities as protective factors (López et al., 2020; Herdian et al., 2022; Aisyah & Chisol, 2020; MDPI, 2020). Nursing interventions should therefore address not only physical health but also psychological, social, and spiritual well-being to holistically improve the quality of life in older adults.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the relationship between gratitude and self-control with self-acceptance in women who experience domestic violence (DV). Gratitude is defined as an individual’s acknowledgment of the presence of others or certain sources that play a role in providing the blessings they receive. Meanwhile, self-control refers to an individual’s ability to direct, regulate, and manage their behavior as well as control negative impulses that arise within themselves. Self-acceptance, on the other hand, is a positive attitude toward oneself, in which individuals are able and willing to accept their condition, including both strengths and weaknesses. The method used in this study employed a quantitative correlational approach, involving 349 women who were victims of domestic violence. The results of the first hypothesis test showed f = 12.233 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between gratitude and self-control with self-acceptance in women experiencing domestic violence. The second hypothesis test revealed a significant positive relationship between gratitude and self-acceptance, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.190 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). This means that the higher the level of gratitude, the higher the self-acceptance among women victims of domestic violence. The third hypothesis test showed a significant positive correlation between self-control and self-acceptance, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.184 and p = 0.004 (p < 0.05). This suggests that the higher the level of self-control, the higher the self-acceptance among women victims of domestic violence. Gratitude and self-control contributed an effective variance of 6.6% to self-acceptance.

Abstract

Millennials and Generation Z are the age groups that dominate the use of digital dating applications. In these generations, building interpersonal relationships is relatively easy, including interactions through digital platforms. The phenomenon of ghosting—defined as the sudden termination of communication without explanation—frequently emerges in this context. This study aims to explore the relationship between attachment style and dark triad personality traits on ghosting behavior among dating application users. The research employed a quantitative approach with a path analysis method. The sample consisted of 254 emerging adults who use dating applications, selected through purposive sampling techniques. The results showed that attachment style had a significant negative effect on ghosting behavior (β = -0.408; p < 0.05), indicating that individuals with secure attachment are less likely to engage in ghosting. Conversely, dark triad personality traits had a significant positive effect on ghosting behavior (β = 0.548; p < 0.05), where the dimensions of Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy increased the likelihood of ghosting. Regression analysis revealed a significant simultaneous contribution (F = 471.850; p < 0.05), with the independent variables explaining 79% of the variance in ghosting behavior. These findings indicate that attachment style and dark triad personality traits play an important role in shaping ghosting behavior in the digital era. This study can serve as a basis for developing psychological interventions to improve the quality of interpersonal relationships in the context of dating applications.

Abstract

This study discusses: 1. The history of the formation of Palasa Tangki village, 2. The economic development of the rice farming community, 3. The efforts of the village government in developing the agricultural sector as the main supporter of the village economy. The type of research used is historical research with an economic approach, data collection techniques in this study include: Observation, interviews, documentation and writing (historiography). The results of this study indicate that the journey and economic development of rice farmers in Palasa Tangki village over the past ten years experienced a turning point that occurred in 2015 when the village government began to introduce modern agricultural technology such as tractors, water pumps, superior seeds, and provided training and fertilizer assistance to farmers. This modernization has had a positive impact on increasing crop yields, expanding market access, and community welfare, as indicated by the increasing number of farming families who are able to send their children to school outside the area. This study confirms that the agricultural sector remains the backbone of the village economy and requires special attention in terms of protection, empowerment, and infrastructure development to support the welfare of the farming community in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between emotional regulation, social support, and resilience among mothers of toddlers with stunting status. Mothers facing this condition often encounter high psychological pressure due to the complexities of care and concerns regarding their child's health. The research was conducted on a finite population with a sample of 40 mothers of stunted toddlers. Measurement instruments included the Resilience Questionnaire Test (RQ-TEST), the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), and the Social Support Scale (SSS), analyzed using Spearman's rho correlation analysis. The results indicated a significant positive relationship between emotional regulation and resilience (rho = 0.350, p < 0.05). Higher emotional regulation was associated with higher resilience among mothers. The study also found a significant positive relationship between social support and resilience (rho = 0.517, p < 0.05). Greater social support was linked to higher levels of resilience in mothers. However, the study has limitations due to the small sample size and potential response bias in data collection methods. Future research is recommended to expand the sample and use more varied data collection methods to enhance the validity of the results. The implications of this study suggest that interventions to improve emotional regulation and social support could effectively enhance the resilience of parents in facing the challenges of caring for toddlers with stunting status, potentially yielding significant positive impacts on the well-being of affected families.

Abstract

Breast milk (BM) serves as the primary source of nutrition for infants from birth until six months of age. However, during the early postpartum period, BM production is often limited, necessitating non-pharmacological interventions such as a combination of breast care and oxytocin massage to stimulate prolactin and oxytocin hormones. The purposed this study is Intervention of Combined Breast Care and Oxytocin Massage to Improve Breast Milk Flow in Postpartum Mothers. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test post-test approach. A total of 45 post-cesarean section mothers who met the inclusion criteria were selected using consecutive sampling. The intervention, consisting of breast care combined with oxytocin massage, was administered twice daily for seven days. Research instruments included a breast milk adequacy questionnaire and an observation sheet. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test via SPSS version 26. Before the intervention, 41 respondents (91.1%) experienced inadequate BM flow, while 4 respondents (8.9%) had adequate BM flow. After the intervention, all respondents (100%) achieved adequate BM flow. The Wilcoxon test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), indicating a significant effect. The combination of breast care and oxytocin massage was proven effective in improving BM adequacy among postpartum mothers and can be recommended as a non-pharmacological approach to support exclusive breastfeeding programs.
