Abstract

The coming of the internet era has dramatically influenced political campaigns in Indonesia and Spain. It has improved urban voter engagement and participation in Indonesia by highlighting its most visible work across social media platforms such as Twitter (X-Land) and Facebook in the 2019 and 2020 elections. However, challenges remain in terms of limited knowledge and skills for using digital technology, access problems to the internet, and especially harmful advertising efforts. Given this accuracy problem with surveys and the dissemination of misinformation, the Spanish elections in 2015 and 2019 cemented the role of Twitter (X-Land) data and social bots in extracting information about political communication and voter behavior. In light of these developments in both countries, one can realize that digital tools are taking political campaigns to a different level; appropriate legislation cannot be done without openness, and fairness is guaranteed. The study looks directly at the role of digital campaigns in modern political communication and participation processes, underpinning interactively technological and political relations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kompetensi sosial guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menangani kenakalan siswa di MTs Al-Washliyah 30 Pematang Guntung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari kepala madrasah, lima guru PAI, dan dua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sosial guru PAI diimplementasikan melalui 11 strategi utama: teguran, pemberian nasihat dan peringatan, pemberian hukuman yang proporsional, komunikasi dengan sesama guru dan orang tua, pembacaan istighfar, keteladanan, bercerita tentang tokoh idola, pengisian waktu kosong, isyarat non-verbal, pengaitan materi dengan media pembelajaran, serta pengembalian persoalan kepada Allah. Adapun bentuk kenakalan yang ditemukan meliputi kenakalan ringan (ribut di kelas, pelanggaran atribut, keluar kelas tanpa izin) dan kenakalan sedang (merokok di luar lingkungan sekolah). Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa kompetensi sosial merupakan komponen strategis dalam upaya preventif dan kuratif terhadap kenakalan siswa di madrasah.

Abstract

Pemuda memiliki posisi penting dalam pembentukan arah sosial, moral, dan keagamaan masyarakat, sehingga konsep kepemudaan dalam Al-Qur’an perlu dikaji secara mendalam, terutama melalui term fata dan derivasinya yang mengandung makna kontekstual dan nilai etik yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis makna term fata dalam Al-Qur’an menurut perspektif Tafsir Ath-Thabari, serta mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai kepemudaan yang dapat dirumuskan dari penafsirannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan, sedangkan analisis dilakukan melalui metode tafsir tematik (maudhu’i) dengan menelaah ayat-ayat yang memuat term fata beserta penafsiran Ath-Thabari dalam Jami’ al-Bayan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa term fata tidak selalu bermakna pemuda dalam arti biologis, tetapi juga dapat merujuk pada pelayan, pembantu, atau hamba sahaya sesuai konteks ayat. Dalam penafsiran Ath-Thabari, term tersebut sekaligus menghadirkan konstruksi pemuda ideal yang ditandai oleh idealisme, keteguhan iman, keberanian moral, dan kemampuan menghadapi ujian kehidupan. Dengan demikian, kajian ini menegaskan bahwa term fata dalam Al-Qur’an memiliki dimensi semantik, teologis, dan pedagogis yang relevan bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter pemuda Muslim kontemporer

Abstract

This article examines humor, pesantren wisdom, and humanism as strategies of da'wah and Islamic reform employed by Abdurrahman Wahid and Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim in responding to religious challenges, tolerance, and modernity. Using an intellectual history approach and the study of contemporary Islamic thought, this analysis demonstrates that both figures did not merely use humor as a rhetorical ornament, but rather as an alternative epistemology rooted in the scholarly traditions of pesantren and universal human values. Gus Dur developed a theological humanism that places human beings at the center of religious discourse, while Gus Baha employs scholastic humor grounded in fiqh and classical Qur’anic exegesis to deconstruct religious rigidity. The novelty of this article’s argument lies in the thesis that both figures collectively shaped what may be called a “humanistic pesantren paradigm”: a model of Indonesian Islamic intellectualism that transcends the dichotomy between traditionalism and modernism and offers an alternative to both sectarianism and secularism. The article concludes that humor and wisdom within their traditions are not merely styles of communication, but theological and ethical instruments affirming that Islam is a religion that celebrates reason, human dignity, and diversity.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji relevansi konsep Wahdatul wujud yang dikembangkan oleh Ibn 'Arabi sebagai kerangka epistemologis dan etis bagi kalangan santri di tengah disrupsi teknologi digital. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena pergeseran ruang spiritual santri dari ruang fisik pesantren ke ruang virtual media sosial, yang berpotensi menimbulkan krisis makna, fragmentasi identitas, dan hiperrealitas keagamaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merekonstruksi konsep-konsep kunci Wahdatul wujud, martabat wujud, dan insan kamil, menjadi kerangka kesadaran digital yang dapat membimbing santri dalam berinteraksi dengan teknologi secara etis dan spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan metode filosofis-hermeneutik dan fenomenologi digital, menelaah sumber primer berupa Fushush al-Hikam dan al-Futuhat al-Makkiyyah, serta sumber sekunder berupa kajian tasawuf kontemporer dan literatur tentang religiusitas digital. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep tajalli dapat dibaca ulang sebagai kerangka kritis untuk memahami representasi diri di media sosial, sementara insan kamil dapat dioperasionalkan sebagai model literasi digital yang menekankan integritas, moderasi, dan verifikasi informasi. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada argumen bahwa Wahdatul wujud bukan sekadar doktrin metafisika klasik yang statis, melainkan dapat direkonstruksi menjadi paradigma kesadaran digital yang memosisikan hubungan Tuhan, manusia, dan teknologi dalam satu kontinum ontologis yang harmonis, bukan terpisah dan saling asing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia secara komprehensif, mencakup aspek regulasi, implementasi, dan dampaknya terhadap mutu pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah library research atau studi kepustakaan, dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber literatur primer maupun sekunder meliputi peraturan perundang-undangan, buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen kebijakan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia telah mengalami perkembangan signifikan sejak era kemerdekaan hingga era reformasi. Kebijakan tersebut dilandasi oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional dan berbagai peraturan turunannya. Evaluasi terhadap kebijakan ini mengungkapkan beberapa capaian positif seperti meningkatnya aksesibilitas dan integrasi kurikulum nasional dengan nilai-nilai keislaman, namun juga menemukan beberapa tantangan krusial seperti ketimpangan kualitas antar lembaga, keterbatasan anggaran, serta perlunya pembaruan kurikulum yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan sinergi antara pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, dan lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam rangka mewujudkan pendidikan Islam yang berkualitas, berkeadilan, dan berdaya saing global.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pendekatan filologi dalam studi naskah tafsir Al-Qur'an sebagai metode untuk memahami, merekonstruksi, dan mengkaji teks-teks tafsir klasik yang diwariskan dalam bentuk manuskrip. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research). Pembahasan mencakup pengertian, sejarah, prosedur, dan unsur-unsur pendukung pendekatan filologi, contoh penerapannya pada tafsir Tarjuman al-Mustafīd karya Syaikh Abdur Rauf al-Singkili, serta problematika penerapannya dalam studi naskah tafsir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan filologi berperan penting dalam mengidentifikasi karakteristik manuskrip, melakukan transliterasi teks, dan membandingkan varian naskah. Analisis terhadap Tarjuman al-Mustafīd memperlihatkan adanya penyempurnaan teks melalui penyesuaian ejaan, struktur kalimat, dan tanda baca tanpa mengubah makna utama tafsir. Selain itu, kajian ini mengidentifikasi sejumlah tantangan dalam penerapan filologi, meliputi kerusakan fisik manuskrip, keterbatasan akses terhadap naskah, kebutuhan kompetensi multibahasa, serta minimnya peneliti yang ahli di bidang filologi sekaligus ilmu tafsir. Dengan demikian, pendekatan filologi menjadi metode penting dalam menjaga keaslian warisan intelektual Islam, sekaligus menghadapi tantangan metodologis yang perlu mendapat perhatian serius dari kalangan akademisi.

Abstract

This study departs from the issue of how the Qur’an conveys warnings about environmental destruction through linguistic structures containing rhetorical meanings. This research examines kalam khabar in sūrah al-Rūm/30:41 by emphasizing the form of khabar and the ecological messages contained within the verse. The study aims to reveal the function of kalam khabar in the verse while explaining its relevance to human awareness in preserving the environment. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach through kalam khabar analysis and lexical analysis of sūrah al-Rūm/30:41. The findings show that the expression ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ belongs to the category of khabar ibtidā’i because it is delivered without emphatic elements (taukid), indicating that the information is directed toward an audience in a neutral condition (khālī al-dzihn). The verse also emphasizes that environmental destruction on land and sea is caused by human actions, thereby containing moral and ecological messages that encourage humanity to maintain the balance of nature. Thus, sūrah al-Rūm/30:41 not only conveys factual information about environmental destruction, but also presents a warning message that strengthens human responsibility toward nature. This study contributes to enriching Qur’anic linguistic studies, particularly regarding the analysis of kalam khabar in sūrah al-Rūm/30:41 and its relevance to environmental destruction issues.

Abstract

The phenomenon of insecurity has emerged as a significant psychological issue among the younger generation, particularly in the era of social media and strong societal pressures. This feeling is marked by low self-esteem, anxiety, and the tendency to compare oneself with others. This study aims to explore the concept and resolution of insecurity from a Qur’anic perspective, using a thematic interpretation (tafsir maudhu’i) approach with Tafsir Al-Mishbah by Prof. Quraish Shihab as the primary reference. Employing a qualitative method and literature-based analysis with descriptive-analytical techniques, this research examines relevant verses such as QS. Ali Imran: 139, QS. Fussilat: 30, and QS. Yusuf: 87. The findings reveal that the Qur’an not only addresses matters of worship but also offers deep insight into emotional and psychological struggles. These verses provide inner calm, encouragement amid social pressure, and strengthen optimism about the future. Through his thoughtful and soothing interpretation, Quraish Shihab emphasizes that insecurity is not a sign of weakness but a call to return to Allah and embrace self-acceptance with gratitude.

Abstract

Self-confidence is one of the fundamental aspects of social-emotional development in early childhood that significantly influences children's ability to engage in social interaction, academic tasks, and daily life activities. Teachers, as the primary figures in the educational environment, play a pivotal role in nurturing and enhancing children's self-confidence. This study aims to analyze and describe in depth the role of teachers in increasing children's self-confidence at TK IT Al-Kiswah, Bengkulu City. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques consisting of participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were three classroom teachers and 20 children aged 5–6 years in Group B. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive model encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings of this study reveal that teachers at TK IT Al-Kiswah carry out four main roles in developing children's self-confidence, namely as motivators, guides, facilitators, and evaluators. These roles are implemented through various strategies, including providing verbal and non-verbal praise, applying scaffolding approaches, using innovative and play-based learning methods such as role-playing, storytelling, singing, and demonstrating artwork. The supportive learning environment, combined with active collaboration between teachers and parents, also makes a significant contribution to children's self-confidence development. This research emphasizes the importance of teachers' professional competence and a holistic educational ecosystem in optimizing the growth of self-confidence in early childhood.
