This study discusses the implementation of regional head elections in Indonesia which took place during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study focuses on explaining the high level of voter turnout when Covid-19 hit Indonesia in 2020 which exceeded the turnout rate in normal situations and contrary to the trend of declining global voter turnout. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with secondary data obtained from official government institutions (especially the election commission and Ministry of Health), mass media both newspapers and other social media, as well as the results of research conducted by other researchers. The results showed that the high level of voter turnout during the Covid-19 pandemic was an anomaly of democracy in the midst of activity restrictions and the trend of declining global voter turnout. The high voter turnout during the Covid-19 pandemic was inversely proportional to the economic downturn and public confidence in government. This study found that the main factor for increasing voter turnout during the Covid-19 pandemic was the massive mobilization of social assistance funds from the government. Theoretically, this is a synthesis of the mobilization model and the general incentives model of participation in a pragmatic context.

Qualitative descriptive research methodology which includes observation, interviews and documentation was used in this research. Data analysis uses descriptive interactive according to Milles Huberman and Saldana. The findings of this research indicate that the application of good governance principles in improving the quality of public services, in terms of transparency, has not been fully realized, especially regarding access to service requirements that cannot be reached by all levels of society. Second, responsiveness in responding to needs is quite good, but completion in a timely manner is not appropriate due to the large number of taxpayers quantitatively. Third, a fair aspect in providing services has been implemented by giving priority to the community in a timely manner. Fourth, the effectiveness and efficiency of employees can be seen, with their efforts increasing their potential to improve services. Fifth, employee accountability through reprimanding and directing staff who commit negligence, but there are still staff who repeat this negligence and act not in accordance with the SOP.

The purpose of this writing is to determine the influence of political power and political fraud on law enforcement in Indonesia during the general election. This research uses normative legal research methods. Normative research is research carried out by examining library materials. The data used in this research is secondary data which includes primary and secondary legal materials. Data collection was carried out using the literature study method, namely by collecting, reviewing and processing literature, statutory regulations and articles, journals and scientific works. The results of the analysis are then described in sentence form systematically to make it easier to draw conclusions from the data. The research results show that the influence of political power and political fraud on law enforcement in Indonesia has negative impacts such as inequality before the law, decreased credibility of the legal system, disruption of the legal policy-making process, decreased legal quality, and increased legal uncertainty. These impacts threaten the stability and development of the country and hinder fair law enforcement.

There is limited knowledge and information for parents in the process of early childhood growth and development, so the right step for parents is to enrol their children in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions. Government intervention is needed to expand access to PAUD services in Indonesia, one of which is by providing BOP PAUD to PAUD providers. This research uses panel data to analyze the relationship between Operational Assistance for Providing Early Childhood Education (BOP PAUD) and the Gross Participation Rate (APK) for PAUD in Indonesia. Selecting the best panel data model from three types of panel data regression models (Ordinary Least Square ( Pooled Least Square), Fixed Effect Model, and Random Effect Model) can be carried out using the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiple Test. Classical assumption tests and model feasibility tests were also carried out using the Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) estimation technique. PAUD BOP per student was tested with several control variables and the results found that PAUD BOP per student did not have a significant relationship with PAUD APK. Meanwhile, school variables, student-teacher ratio and urban households with their own home status have a significant relationship to PAUD APK.

People's welfare is one of the important goals in the RPJMN 2020-2045 and the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045. One of the government’s roles in realizing welfare is through fiscal policy in the form of government spending, which is assessed by the ratio of government spending to GDP or government size. This study aims to determine the relationship between government size and welfare, especially the role of demographic dividend in moderating the relationship between government size and welfare using panel data of 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2012-2021 and the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results show that an increase in government size reduces GRDP per capita, but the existence of a demographic dividend through a low dependency ratio is able to reduce the negative relationship of non-optimal government spending on GRDP per capita. As for poverty, government size is able to reduce poverty, but the presence of the demographic dividend has not been able to play a role in increasing government spending that is more efficient and targeted for the purpose of poverty alleviation. Furthermore, the diversity of regression results obtained based on Indonesia's sub-regions indicates that there are still inequalities in budget planning, the quantity and quality of human resources especially productive age population, and the availability of jobs.

This research aims to determine the role of library managers or teachers at State Middle School (SMP) 4 in Manado City in utilizing library collections to support student learning activities. The model used in this research employs a descriptive qualitative method that can provide a detailed depiction of the actual conditions. The SMPN 4 Manado library has its own room with a collection of fiction and books according to the Merdeka Curriculum. The existing collection of books is not well arranged on bookshelves and is only arranged on tables, some are stacked on the floor. Another condition where users get hot quickly is because the room does not have a fan or AC. Existing deficiencies can be improved for the better, because the library management is committed to improving the library at SMP Negeri 4 Manado, but is hampered by support from the previous school principal. It was only then that the new principal had the intention to make the library better. The arrival of the research team also strengthened the principal's commitment to organizing the library.

Gender-based violence is a phenomenon that is widespread throughout the world and is a concern for human security. For this reason, the Council of Europe formed the Istanbul Convention to combat gender-based violence, especially in Europe. The main focus of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the Istanbul Convention as an international regime in Greece, the country with the lowest level of gender equality in Europe, using the Regime Effectiveness theory. The research method uses an explanatory research type which aims to explain the position of the variables studied and the cause-and-effect relationships that exist between the variables. The results of this research prove that the Istanbul Convention can be categorized as an effective international regime in Greece, along with the implementation of policies that are in line with the values and objectives of the convention. Thus, this research shows that the Istanbul Convention was able to achieve its effectiveness as an international regime in Greece.

This research aims to evaluate implementing the Zero Waste policy in Baubau City, focusing on identifying challenges and opportunities encountered in the implementation process. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection conducted through in-depth interviews and direct observation in the field. The results of the study indicate that despite efforts from the government to promote the concept of Zero Waste and improve waste management infrastructure, several challenges still hinder the implementation of the policy. The main challenges identified include the lack of public awareness about the importance of sustainable waste management, limitations in waste management infrastructure, and the lack of active participation from the community in Zero Waste programs. However, the research also reveals significant opportunities to enhance the implementation of Zero Waste policy through collaboration with the private sector and NGOs, as well as through participatory approaches and community empowerment. By strengthening collective commitment and active participation from all stakeholders, it is hoped that Baubau City can successfully achieve the Zero Waste goal and serve as an example of environmentally friendly and sustainable waste management.
