Abstract

This research aims to investigate the analysis of the relationship between banking financial ratios and profitability using the purposive sampling technique in the form of panel data. The research sample was derived from 47 banking sectors listed on the BEI stock exchange from 2013 to 2022, with a total of 470 firm-year observations. The regression method employed was the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) data panel, and it underwent tests for regression model selection, classical assumptions, robustness, and the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) method. The research findings indicate that CASA is a determining factor for banks in general to enhance Return on Assets (ROA), especially in the small bank group (KBMI 1 and 2). BOPO has been a hindering factor for banks in general to achieve profitability (ROA and ROE) over the past 10 years. In the pre and POST economic crisis of Covid-19, the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) is a hindering factor for banks in general to achieving profitability. Interestingly, as long as the economic crisis, the opposite is true, LDR became a determining factor in increasing profitability, especially in the large bank group (KBMI 3 and 4).

Abstract

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have become one of Indonesia's economic sectors affected by Covid-19. The capital sources for MSMEs before and during COVID-19 (2018 to 2021) have presented two distinct situations, which we address in this study. The research aims to analyze the differing situations regarding the primary capital sources for MSMEs before and during COVID-19 (2018 to 2021). The research methodology involves a qualitative literature review utilizing data from articles on Google Scholar between 2018 and 2021 using the keyword "MSME capital sources," totalling 50 articles before and during COVID-19. The findings reveal that MSMEs, in the two situations, have distinct focuses on capital sources. Before COVID-19, MSMEs primarily relied on Banking Institutions for capital, while during COVID-19, they shifted focus towards non-banking institutions such as Fintech, Baitul Maalwat Tamwil, Venture Capital, Government, Personal Funds, Pawnshops, Credit Institutions, Cooperatives, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). Furthermore, the role of funding from both banking and non-banking sources is crucial in supporting the sustainability of MSMEs.

Abstract

One dietary issue that needs to be addressed is stunting, particularly in underdeveloped and impoverished nations. A type of growth and development failure known as stunting leads in linear growth abnormalities in toddlers and a build-up of malnutrition that persists from pregnancy until the child is 24 months old. Early on in a child's growth and development, inadequate nourishment can have a fatal effect on the child's mental and physical development. The purpose of this study is to determine how well Songka Village, Batu Sopang District, mother and child health has improved as a result of the stunting control program. Enhancing parental practices via an intervention program to raise nutritional status identification, data collection, and monitoring in order to prevent stunting in 1,000 Hertz. There is a strategy design analysis done based on the prioritized intervention program. The analysis's findings demonstrate that a combination of aggressive tactics, optimizing targeted and sensitive nutritional interventions to promote improvements in the caliber of parenting practices for children under five, is an efficient way to hasten the decline in rural stunting rates. In order to expedite the decline in stunting rates in Songka Village, the long-term strategy makes use of the chance to bolster the government's commitment and the convergence of stunting prevention strategies.

Abstract

Israel's aggression against Gaza since October 2023 has sparked global support for Palestine. One of the supports was shown by the Indonesian Ulema Council by issuing fatwa number 83 of 2023. One of the points of the fatwa is to avoid transactions and not use products affiliated with Israel. This fatwa is identified with the boycott of Israeli products. This paper attempts to analyze the public response to the MUI fatwa. The method used in this research is Discourse Network Analysis (DNA). This research uses DNA Analyzer and Visone software to display actor and discourse networks and statistical calculations of actors and discourses responding to Fatwa number 83 of 2023. The research measured public response for one month since the fatwa was issued on November 8, 2023. The findings in this study are that the public is divided into 2 clusters in responding to the fatwa. The first cluster expressed support, and the second cluster expressed disapproval of the fatwa. However, the analysis and statistical calculations found that actors and discourses that support the MUI fatwa are more dominant. From the results of analysis and statistical calculations, it was found that actors and discourses that support the MUI fatwa are more dominant.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and explain the Coordination of Implementing Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility in Siak Regency, Riau Province. This type of research uses a qualitative research type of descriptive method—data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and literature studies from various sources. The results showed that the coordination of implementing the Company's social and environmental responsibility has not been maximally implemented. Based on the unity of action indicator measurement, coordination meetings between stakeholders are rarely held to unite actions. Then, the lack of information about TJSL is also a factor in the lack of communication. The inability of the TJSL forum to carry out its duties is also an obstacle, so there is a lack of supervision of companies, which results in companies not complying with regulations, such as making reports on the implementation of TJSL in Siak District.

Providing an integrated and transparent information system will help minimize the risk of data manipulation by providing easier and more transparent access to project information for related parties. Apart from that, increasing the capacity and integrity of auditors and law enforcers in detecting and taking action against data manipulation practices will be key in tackling criminal acts of corruption.

Handling criminal acts of letter forgery requires a comprehensive approach through prevention policies, law enforcement, rehabilitation and collaboration between related institutions. Prevention through education, strict supervision, and strengthening document security systems is important to reduce opportunities for counterfeiting. Firm and fair law enforcement provides justice to victims and a deterrent effect for perpetrators. Rehabilitation gives perpetrators the opportunity to change and make positive contributions again. Collaboration between institutions maximizes the effectiveness of treatment, from exchanging information to developing prevention programs. Only with an integrated approach can we tackle mail fraud and protect society.
