Abstract

This study analyses the financial performance of Rural Economic Banks (BPR) before and after collaboration with financial technology (fintech) innovations in lending and funding through Komunal Group, the pioneer of BPR digitalisation in Indonesia. The observation period is divided into two phases: before collaboration (2019–2021) and after collaboration (2022–2024). The study aims to examine the influence of financial variables such as Cash Ratio (CR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income Ratio (BOPO) on Return on Assets (ROA) of BPR, as well as to compare financial performance between the two periods. The method used is panel data regression with a Random Effect Model, accompanied by tests for normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation. The sample consists of 14 BPRs. The results show no significant difference in ROA between the two periods. However, LDR significantly increased and NPL significantly decreased after collaboration, indicating improved credit distribution and asset quality. CR decreased, although not statistically significant, reflecting a shift in liquid assets toward credit expansion through fintech. BOPO consistently has a significant negative effect on ROA in both periods, emphasising the importance of operational efficiency. This study also highlights the need for adaptive liquidity management and good governance to maintain optimal financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the planning function in the management of amenities at Ketapanrame Tourism Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the planning function has been implemented in a structured and participatory manner through five key indicators: goal setting, program formulation, budgeting, activity scheduling, and development planning. Goals are set clearly and measurably in line with the village vision; programs are formulated collaboratively involving multiple stakeholders; budgeting focuses on facilities with direct benefits to visitors through a phased development strategy; activity scheduling is adaptively arranged according to tourist seasons; and development planning considers environmental sustainability and village spatial layout. Although limited funding remains a challenge, the phased development strategy and multi-stakeholder involvement serve as adaptive measures that support the sustainable management of amenities in the tourism village.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of the service quality of the Suroboyo GoBis (Golek Bis) application using the five dimensions of SERVQUAL, namely Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. The research approach used is qualitative with in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation methods of active users of the application. The results show that the Tangibles dimension is the main strength, characterised by a simple, informative, and easy-to-use application interface, as well as a maintained physical condition of the bus. Dimensity Reliability received a positive rating despite the delay in updating the bus position. On the other hand, the Responsiveness dimension is the most significant weakness due to the slow response to user complaints. The Assurance dimension shows a fairly good sense of security, but is not even in the presence of officers, while the Empathy dimension still has minimal attention to vulnerable groups and user involvement. The research recommends increased responsiveness, optimisation of real-time data updates, equitable distribution of officers at bus stops, addition of inclusive features, and maintenance of the physical quality of services. These findings underscore the importance of overarching improvements to support responsive, inclusive, and sustainable quality of digital public services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Smart City Program is implemented in Buton Regency, specifically in terms of the program's implementation approach and the factors that contribute to the success of its implementation in Buton Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative. The data collection techniques employed in this study include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Smart City Program in the context of public services still faces various obstacles, so it has not run optimally. Although there is a fairly good commitment, the main obstacles lie in the absence of a special integrated organisation, differences in perceptions between agencies, limited infrastructure, human resources, and budget, and a lack of direct communication with the community. Therefore, institutional strengthening, increased coordination, technical and resource improvements, and bureaucratic reform are needed so that the Smart City program can be implemented effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of entrepreneurship education and institutional support from universities on entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Andalas University. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method through SmartPLS 3.0 to test the proposed hypotheses. Data were collected from 221 active students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Andalas. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive influence on entrepreneurial intention, as well as a positive influence on self-efficacy, which in turn enhances entrepreneurial intention. However, institutional support does not significantly influence entrepreneurial intention or self-efficacy, indicating that institutional support alone is insufficient to enhance students' entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, this study confirms that self-efficacy mediates the influence of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention, emphasising the importance of fostering students' self-confidence through education. This study contributes to the understanding of the factors influencing students' entrepreneurial decisions and highlights the importance of a more comprehensive approach in entrepreneurship education and institutional support in higher education.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the role of the Sanggar Rwa Bhineda art community as a social agent that provides an inclusive and adaptive space for people with visual impairments (Penyandang Disabilitas Sensorik Netra-PDSN).  People with visual impairments are often considered to have limitations that make it difficult for them to carry out their daily activities, including participating in social and cultural spaces. In reality, PDSN who are members of the Rwa Bhineda art community can master traditional Balinese arts and participate in various community activities. Using social capital theory, social inclusion theory, and structural functionalism, this study examines the background of the community's establishment, its role as an inclusive agent, and its impact on PDSN in social and cultural aspects. The analysis was conducted using a qualitative approach focused on understanding and describing in depth the role of the Rwa Bhineda studio as a social agent that provides an inclusive space for PDSN. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations, and documentation, supported by relevant literature and references. The analysis was conducted qualitatively through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. The research findings indicate that PDSN participation is driven by an interest in preserving traditional arts, while the studio not only serves as a platform for artistic expression but also strengthens the social, cultural, and economic roles of people with disabilities in Denpasar City
