Abstract

Abstract: This study explores the influence of peer environments on school dropout cases among children in Kecamatan Sail, Pekanbaru. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that peer interaction, role and decision-making, as well as values and norms promoted within the peer group, significantly impact students' decisions to leave school. The peer environment that discourages education tends to lead children to mimic negative behaviors, ultimately resulting in school dropout. This study highlights the urgent need for community-based interventions to cultivate positive peer environments that support education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap kasus anak putus sekolah di Kecamatan Sail, Kota Pekanbaru. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial, peran dan pengambilan keputusan, serta nilai dan norma yang dikembangkan dalam kelompok teman sebaya memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap keputusan anak untuk berhenti sekolah. Lingkungan pertemanan yang tidak mendukung pendidikan cenderung mendorong anak mengikuti perilaku negatif. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya intervensi berbasis komunitas untuk membentuk lingkungan teman sebaya yang positif.

Abstract

Abstract: Instilling the value of environmental cleanliness in early childhood needs to be done through a concrete and fun approach so that the value can be understood and applied in everyday life. This study aims to describe the learning process, children's responses, and the challenges faced in learning activities with the theme of cleanliness through direct practice. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were children in group B at a kindergarten in Indonesia. The results of the study showed that learning with the theme "Maintaining Cleanliness" through direct practice was proven to be effective in building active participation, understanding of concepts, and character of early childhood children. Children showed high enthusiasm and understood the value of cleanliness and social responsibility. However, challenges were found such as lack of ability to wait for turns, suboptimal social interactions, and the need for intensive assistance. Teachers reflected on the importance of small groups and additional educators during outdoor activities. Therefore, adaptive planning and support from educators are very important for the effectiveness of activities. Abstrak: Penanaman nilai kebersihan lingkungan pada anak usia dini perlu dilakukan melalui pendekatan konkret dan menyenangkan agar nilai tersebut dapat dipahami dan diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran, respons anak, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bertema kebersihan melalui praktik langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak-anak kelompok B pada salah satu TK di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pembelajaran bertema “Menjaga Kebersihan” melalui praktik langsung terbukti efektif membangun partisipasi aktif, pemahaman konsep, dan karakter anak usia dini. Anak menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan memahami nilai kebersihan serta tanggung jawab sosial. Meski demikian, ditemukan tantangan seperti kurangnya kemampuan menunggu giliran, interaksi sosial yang belum optimal, dan kebutuhan pendampingan intensif. Guru merefleksikan pentingnya pengelompokan kecil dan tambahan pendidik saat kegiatan luar kelas. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan adaptif dan dukungan tenaga pendidik sangat penting untuk efektivitas kegiatan.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe how differentiated instruction is used in inclusive classes in non-formal educational settings, particularly at PKBM Insan Cerdas Indonesia. It was discovered that differentiated learning was used thoroughly, beginning with initial assessment, planning, execution, and learning evaluation, using a descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interviewing techniques, observation, and documentation. These results demonstrate how well the differentiation method works to meet the learning requirements of students with a range of backgrounds and abilities. According to the research findings, there are three primary steps involved in implementing differentiated learning: preliminary assessment, lesson planning, and classroom implementation. The lesson plan is developed based on the results of the initial assessment, which includes talent mapping tools, psychological assessments, and Multiple Intelligence Research (MIR). Teachers, psychologists, guidance counselors, and parents work together during the planning phase. In order to meet the various requirements of students, differentiated learning stresses changes to the learning environment, procedures, products, and material. Better logical thinking abilities, a stronger conceptual comprehension, and students' confidence in voicing their thoughts and finishing projects are all results of using this method. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada kelas inklusi di satuan pendidikan nonformal, khususnya di PKBM Insan Cerdas Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi diimplementasikan secara menyeluruh mulai dari asesmen awal, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi pembelajaran. Temuan ini menunjukkan efektivitas pendekatan diferensiasi dalam mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik dengan latar belakang dan potensi yang beragam. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, terdapat tiga langkah utama yang terlibat dalam penerapan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi: asesmen awal, perencanaan pembelajaran, dan implementasi di kelas. Rencana pembelajaran disusun berdasarkan hasil asesmen awal, yang mencakup alat pemetaan bakat, asesmen psikologis, dan Penelitian Kecerdasan Ganda (MIR). Guru, psikolog, konselor bimbingan, dan orang tua bekerja sama selama fase perencanaan. Untuk memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan siswa, pembelajaran terdiferensiasi menekankan perubahan pada lingkungan belajar, prosedur, produk, dan materi. Kemampuan berpikir logis yang lebih baik, pemahaman konseptual yang lebih kuat, dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam menyuarakan pemikiran dan menyelesaikan proyek merupakan hasil dari penerapan metode ini.

Abstract

Abstract: Background: Training plays an important role in preparing people with disabilities to develop the skills necessary to become entrepreneurs, reduce dependence on government assistance, and increase independence. Objective: Understanding the management of entrepreneurship training programs at the Serang Disability Workshop (WDS). Method: This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, employing three primary data collection methods: interviews, observations, and documentation. Results: The study revealed that the training program at the Serang Disability Workshop (WDS) implements the POAC management functions. Conclusion: The application of POAC management functions at the Serang Disability Workshop (WDS) demonstrates interconnectivity and mutual support within the social context, as well as addressing the needs of the activities carried out. Abstrak: Latar Belakang: Pelatihan memainkan peran penting dalam mempersiapkan penyandang disabilitas untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk menjadi wirausahawan, mengurangi ketergantungan pada bantuan pemerintah, dan meningkatkan kemandirian. Tujuan: Pemahaman mengenai manajemen program pelatihan kewirausahaan di Workshop Disabilitas Serang (WDS). Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tiga metode utama, yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil: Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian menghasilkan fakta bahwa program pelatihan di Workshop Disabilitas Serang (WDS) menerapkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen POAC. Kesimpulan: Penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen POAC pada Workshop Disabilitas Serang (WDS) menunjukkan keterkaitan dan mendukung satu sama lain dengan konteks sosial, serta kebutuhan dalam kegiatan yang dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to understand how adult learners interpret their learning motivation while attending preparatory courses for CPNS and PPPK selection. Using a qualitative narrative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with three primary informants (with varied outcomes) and three supporting informants. Thematic analysis revealed that their motivation was not merely academic but rooted in existential processes, such as preserving self-worth, rebuilding hope, and resisting social pressure. The prep class was perceived as a safe space that provided new meaning to their struggles and personal identity. These findings extend the application of Self-Determination Theory by emphasizing that autonomy, competence, and social relatedness can emerge under non-ideal conditions through emotional support, personal reflection, and peer learning. This study contributes to educational psychology by highlighting the need for empathetic approaches in fostering adult learning motivation within nonformal education. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana peserta dewasa memaknai motivasi belajar mereka dalam mengikuti layanan bimbingan seleksi CPNS dan PPPK. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif desain naratif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga informan utama (dengan hasil yang beragam) dan tiga informan pendukung. Hasil analisis tematik menunjukkan bahwa motivasi peserta tidak sekadar bertujuan akademik, tetapi juga berakar pada proses eksistensial, seperti mempertahankan harga diri, membangun ulang harapan, dan melawan tekanan sosial. Bimbingan belajar dipandang sebagai ruang aman yang memberi makna baru terhadap perjuangan dan identitas diri. Temuan ini memperluas penerapan Self-Determination Theory dengan menekankan bahwa otonomi, kompetensi, dan keterhubungan sosial dapat tumbuh dalam kondisi tidak ideal melalui dukungan emosional, refleksi personal, dan komunitas belajar. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada psikologi pendidikan dengan menegaskan perlunya pendekatan empatik dalam mendukung motivasi belajar peserta dewasa di Pendidikan nonformal.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of early literacy skills for early childhood as a foundation for developing reading and writing skills at later levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of early literacy skills in kindergarten children aged 5–6 years in Kualu Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through documentation, observation, and interviews. The research subjects consisted of three kindergarten teachers at the Alfath Allyah Madani Integrated Islamic Kindergarten. The results showed that most children aged 5–6 years demonstrated fairly good early literacy skills. The children were able to name letter symbols, recognize the initial letter sounds of objects, group images based on the initial letter sounds, understand the relationship between letter sounds and shapes, and can read and write their own names. However, in terms of understanding the meaning of words in stories, improvement is still needed. These findings indicate that children's early literacy skills in the area are progressing quite well, but still require more varied and enjoyable learning strategies. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan keaksaraan awal bagi anak usia dini sebagai fondasi dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis di jenjang selanjutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perembangan kemampuan keaksaraan awal anak TK usia 5–6 tahun di Desa Kualu, Kecamatan Tambang, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga guru TK di TK Islam Terpadu Alfath Allyah Madani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak usia 5–6 tahun telah menunjukkan kemampuan keaksaraan awal yang cukup baik. Anak-anak mampu menyebutkan simbol huruf, mengenali suara huruf awal dari nama benda, mengelompokkan gambar berdasarkan bunyi awal huruf, memahami hubungan antara bunyi dan bentuk huruf, serta dapat membaca dan menulis nama sendiri. Namun, pada aspek memahami arti kata dalam cerita, masih diperlukan peningkatan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan keaksaraan awal anak di daerah tersebut berjalan cukup baik, namun tetap membutuhkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzes the role of emotional intelligence in educational leadership through a systematic bibliographic analysis of the literature published between 2000 and 2025. Successful leadership depends not only on cognitive intelligence, but also on the ability to manage emotions, self-restraint, be highly motivated, understand the emotions of others, empathy, creativity, and tolerance. In the context of education, leaders must be able to inspire and motivate staff and learners, where intellectual capacity and managerial skills alone are not enough without emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence, according to Goleman, includes the ability to recognize and manage one's own emotions and others, motivate, and build positive social relationships. Although many studies have addressed aspects of emotional intelligence in educational leadership, there is still no comprehensive bibliographic analysis integrating these findings. This research aims to fill this gap by using quantitative methods and bibliometric analysis on data taken from Scopus from 2000 to 2025. The keywords used were "Emotional Intelligence" and "Education Leadership". The initial search yielded 200 articles, which were then filtered by topic relevance. After making the selection, 10 articles were used as the main reference because of their deep relevance to the research focus. The results of the analysis also included author and keyword mapping using VOSviewer, which shows publication trends and clustering of related topics. Abstrak: Penelitian ini menganalisis peran kecerdasan emosional dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan melalui analisis bibliografi sistematis dari literatur yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2000 dan 2025. Kepemimpinan yang berhasil tidak hanya bergantung pada kecerdasan kognitif, tetapi juga pada kemampuan mengelola emosi, menahan diri, memiliki motivasi tinggi, memahami emosi orang lain, empati, kreativitas, dan toleransi. Dalam konteks pendidikan, pemimpin harus mampu menginspirasi dan memotivasi staf dan peserta didik, di mana kapasitas intelektual dan keterampilan manajerial saja tidak cukup tanpa kecerdasan emosional. Kecerdasan emosional menurut Goleman meliputi kemampuan mengenali dan mengelola emosi diri sendiri dan orang lain, memotivasi, dan membangun hubungan sosial yang positif. Meskipun banyak penelitian telah membahas aspek kecerdasan emosional dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan, masih belum ada analisis bibliografi komprehensif yang mengintegrasikan temuan-temuan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisi kekosongan tersebut dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisis bibliometrik pada data yang diambil dari Scopus dari tahun 2000 hingga 2025. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah "Emotional Intelligence" dan "Education Leadership". Pencarian awal menghasilkan 200 artikel, yang kemudian disaring berdasarkan relevansi tema. Setelah melakukan penyeleksian, 10 artikel dijadikan rujukan utama karena relevansinya yang mendalam terhadap fokus penelitian. Hasil analisis juga mencakup pemetaan penulis dan kata kunci menggunakan VOSviewer, yang menunjukkan tren publikasi dan klasterisasi topik terkait.

Abstract: Abstract: This study aims to determine: 1) To find and analyze how high the level of discipline character of students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. 2) to find and analyze how high the level of student activity in extracurricular activities of tapak suci SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. 3) to obtain data on the influence of activeness in extracurricular activities of tapak suci on the discipline character of students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. This type of research is ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were members of tapak suci SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru as many as 83 tapak suci members. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling. This selection was due to the homogenous demographics of the study, namely students who participated in extracurricular tapak suci at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, using the Slovin formula, the sample was 69 tapak suci members. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of activeness in extracurricular activities of tapak suci on the discipline character of students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, amounting to 35,6% with a low interpretation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Untuk menemukan dan menganalisis seberapa tinggi tingkat karakter disiplin siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. 2) untuk menemukan dan menganalisis seberapa tinggi tingkat keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tapak suci SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. 3) guna memperoleh data pengaruh keaktifan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tapak suci terhadap karakter disiplin siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota tapak suci SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru sebanyak 83 anggota tapak suci. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling, pemilihan ini dikarenakan demografi penelitian homogeny yakni siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler tapak suci di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, maka sampel 69 anggota tapak suci. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh keaktifan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tapak suci terhadap karakter disiplin siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, sebesar 35,6% dengan tafsiran rendah.

Abstract

This study aims at evaluating the facilitator capacity building training program at the Legislative Human Resources Competency Development Center of the Indonesian House of Representatives Secretariat General, using the Level 1 and 2 Kirkpatrick evaluation model. This descriptive quantitative research employed total sampling technique with 28 participants from 12 different functional positions and work units. The evaluation was conducted using questionnaires based on Kirkpatrick's evaluation model, focusing on Level 1 (Reaction) and Level 2 (Learning). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with scores classified into five categories ranging from "Very Poor" to "Very Satisfactory". Level 1 evaluation showed excellent results across all indicators: lecturers scored 87.09, instructors averaged 90.48-94.64 across four training days, examiners achieved 95.12, and training organizers received 92.02. All scores fell within the "Very Satisfactory" category. Level 2 evaluation demonstrated successful learning outcomes, with all 28 participants achieving competent ratings in microteaching sessions (average score: 87.43, range: 79.7-92.4). The facilitator capacity building training program effectively met participants' expectations and learning objectives. The consistently high satisfaction scores and successful practical applications in microteaching indicate that the training successfully enhanced participants' facilitation competencies.

Abstract

Abstract: Pasuruan Regency has a significant level of disaster vulnerability, particularly related to hydrometeorological events such as tornadoes, landslides, and floods. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the disaster response education and training program of the Pasuruan Regency Female Student Corps (KPP) and identify factors that contribute to and reduce its effectiveness. This study employed a case study design and a qualitative approach. In-depth interviews, documentation, and observation were among the methods used to collect data. Although the training program has not been optimally implemented, research findings indicate that it has had a positive impact on participants' knowledge and preparedness. Several challenges identified include a lack of a comprehensive needs analysis, a lack of facilities and qualified trainers, and training techniques that do not adequately consider participants' age and background. In summary, although the training program was deemed highly effective, its planning, implementation, and assessment still need improvement. For the program to reach all participants equitably and sustainably, a more inclusive and participatory training approach is needed. Abstrak: Kabupaten Pasuruan memiliki tingkat kerentanan bencana yang signifikan, terutama terkait dengan peristiwa hidrometeorologi seperti tornado, tanah longsor, dan banjir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi program pendidikan dan pelatihan tanggap bencana Korps Pelajar Putri (KPP) Kabupaten Pasuruan dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi dan mengurangi efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dan pendekatan kualitatif. Wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan observasi merupakan beberapa metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Meskipun program pelatihan belum berjalan optimal, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program tersebut memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap pengetahuan dan kesiapan peserta. Beberapa tantangan yang ditemukan antara lain kurangnya analisis kebutuhan yang menyeluruh, kurangnya fasilitas dan pelatih yang berkualifikasi, serta teknik pelatihan yang tidak mempertimbangkan usia dan latar belakang peserta secara memadai. Singkatnya, meskipun program pelatihan dinilai sangat efektif, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaiannya masih perlu ditingkatkan. Agar program dapat menjangkau semua peserta secara merata dan berkelanjutan, diperlukan pendekatan pelatihan yang lebih inklusif dan partisipatif.
