Abstract

This study examines the role of history teachers in integrating Masohi (Gotong Royong) cultural values into history lessons at SMAN 3 Ambon City to enhance student character development. The research focuses on five key character indicators: cooperation, social care, responsibility, solidarity, and leadership. A total of 85 students from three classes participated in the study. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, questionnaires, and classroom observations. The results showed significant improvements in student character, with cooperation and responsibility increasing by 30%, solidarity by 29%, social care by 22%, and leadership by 16%. Additionally, the standard deviation decreased, indicating improved consistency in understanding and applying these values among students. This research demonstrates that integrating Masohi values into history education effectively strengthens student character and can serve as a broader model for cultural value-based education in schools across Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a learning media in the form of a discovery learning-based history e- module in grade XI history learning at the high school level. This type of research is Research and Development (research and development). The development model used is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of this study indicate that the e-modules developed are valid and practical with details: First, the material in the e-module developed is categorized as very valid with a percentage of 95.2%. In the media aspect, it got a very valid category with a percentage of validity reaching 93.6% and the validity of the language aspect also got a very valid category with a percentage of validity of 94.6%. Second, the developed history e-module is in the very practical category with a final score percentage of 85.33% and 89.80%, respectively obtained from the analysis of teacher and learner practicality questionnaire data. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the discovery learning-based history e-module in class XI history learning at the high school level developed is feasible to use in the learning process.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to reconstruct the history of Nasi Grombyang Warso since he began his business until he succeed having his own food stall. This study used the historical method. Data collection techniques are documentation and interview. The findings from this study are several things that make Nasi Grombyang Warso become an icon in Pemalang Regency. As a traditional culinary dish that has a distinctive savory and spiced taste. Nasi Grombyang Warso is able to face the times. Warso is a Nasi Grombyang seller who is able to survive in Pemalang and has managed to maintain the recipe, despite changes in the form of presentation and use of ingredients. Maintaining traditional culinary delights such as Nasi Grombyang is something important and a concern for all of us in maintaining its sustainability. Assuming that throught this Nasi Grombyang culinary delights that have unique flavors in the Pemalang area and cannot be found in other areas. Apart from that, it is hoped that this article will become a reference in advancing tourism in Pemalang.

Abstract

This research generally aims to: a) describe the efforts of the Sasak people in maintaining the existence of the Kayaq Sandongan art; b) the values contained in the Kayaq Sandongan art as the civic culture of the Sasak people. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research object is the values of character education and the meaning of character education values in Kayaq Sandongan. Data was collected by determining the units and recording then analyzed by data reduction and data analysis. Inference based on four categories of educational character values. Semantic validity and expert interviews were used to validate the research results. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the existence of Kayaq Sandongan is maintained because there is a community that supports the Kayaq Sandongan art, artists who have passed it down from generation to generation and support for the village and district governments. There are four values of character education in the Kayaq Sandongan mask dance, namely: 1) religious values, 2) values of responsibility and hard work, 3) values of tolerance, and 4) values of caring for the environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the transformation of the younger generation's role in developing and preserving Kampung Batik Laweyan in the era of globalization. The results obtained from this research will focus on several key issues; 1) the transformation of the youth's role in the development of Kampung Batik Laweyan in the era of globalization; 2) the role of the younger generation in the development of Kampung Batik Laweyan; and 3) the youth development system in Kampung Batik Laweyan. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection processes include observation, interviews, and literature review. After obtaining the data, the research involves data reduction, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research contribute to understanding the social transformation occurring in the younger generation in Laweyan concerning the development of Kampung Batik Laweyan.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the differences that exist in the pre-marriage tradition (malam tempel pacar or pancar) of the Samawa Tribe and the Mbojo Tribe on the island of Sumbawa, Indonesia.  The research method used in this article is historical research and uses a qualitative approach. The stages in historical research, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study found that the pre-marriage tradition (tempel pacar or pancar) of the Samawa Tribe and the Mbojo Tribe in addition to having similarities also has significant differences. The difference lies in the philosophy and implementation process. The Samawa tribe believes that this tradition is a form of purification of the body and soul of the bride and groom before marriage. While the Mbojo Tribe carried out this tradition because it became an example for women who were going to marry classes and became a forum for the spread of Islam during the royal era. The difference in the implementation process that is clearly visible is the accompaniment used. The Samawa tribe uses Gong Genang while the Mbojo tribe is accompanied by dhikr and chanting solawat or known as Ziki Kapanca. This tradition still exists in both tribes and is still carried out today.

Abstract

Wonomulyo is known as a tourist village of the land above the clouds. The people of Wonomulyo manage their lives based on ancestral heritage values, with the concept of harmony based on the local wisdom of the Wuku Galungan tradition, a tradition to commemorate the death of Ki Hajar Wonokoso. This research reveals the historical background, procession, and content of educational values of the Wuku Galungan tradition in facing various challenges. The data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis using ethnography. The data were then analyzed through the interactive analysis model to interpret the phenomenon. The results show that 1) the historical background of the Wuku Galungan tradition came from the legend of Ki Hajar Wonokoso, who died on the Tuesday Wage Wuku Galungan; 2) the Wuku Galungan tradition was executed in the area of Ki Hajar's tomb on the Tuesday Wage with a kind of thanksgiving and visiting processions; 3) the Wuku Galungan tradition had religious values which is reflected in the belief that there is a great power outside humans in obtaining blessings from God, tolerance, love for the environment and other living creatures; mutual cooperation reflected in the sambatan (splice) tradition; as well as nature and cultural conservation reflected in the harmony concept of the people of Wonomulyo in facing various challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to develop local history-based digital teaching materials for the XI IPS class history subject at SMAN 4 Cibinong. This study uses an R&D research approach using the ADDIE development model. Based on the results of the needs analysis, history learning has not developed teaching materials based on local history because learning local history has not been optimal. This research focuses on the proclamation of 17 August 1945 and the social revolution on the outskirts of Jakarta 1945-1955. The design of digital teaching materials is designed in the form of an e-book using the Canva application and professional pdf flipbook. Based on the results of the due diligence validation questionnaire, it obtained very feasible criteria with a percentage of material expert validation 90%, linguist validation 90%, media validation 98%, and practitioner validation 82.5%. After the expert and practitioner validation tests were declared feasible, the research continued with the implementation of limited trials. Trial in class XI IPS 1 with a total of 34 students. Based on the results of the practice of student responses, they obtained an assessment of the percentage of 85.39% with very practical criteria. Based on the trial results, digital teaching materials for the Social Revolution on the outskirts of Jakarta 1945-1955 are suitable for use in history lessons for class XI IPS at SMAN 4 Cibinong.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the use of the former Kedu Residency Museum, where Prince Diponegoro was captured by General De Kock, became a source of learning local history in history subjects at SMAN 4 Magelang. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques include direct observation in museums and schools, in-depth interviews with museologists and history teachers, as well as museum and school documentation. The results of the research show: (1) the Former Kedu Residency Museum is the site of a historical event where Diponegoro was tricked and arrested by General De Kock through negotiations, (2) the Former Kedu Residency Museum is a cultural heritage building protected by the state, (3) History Teacher at SMAN 4 Magelang have used this museum as a local history learning laboratory, (4) The Museum Tour Learning Model is used by history teachers to provide students with direct experience learning local history.

Abstract

This study discusses the History and Impact of Covid-19 on Culinary Tourism Nasi Sek at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City: Pondok Salero Ibu Ina (1987-2020). The problems of this research are: how was the early history of selling Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina as a culinary tour at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City (1987-2020), and how did the Covid-19 outbreak affect Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina. The purpose of this study is to determine the early history of selling Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina as a culinary tour at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City (1987-2020), and to determine the effect of the Covid-19 outbreak on Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina. The research method used in this study is the Historical Research Method, this method is divided into four stages: 1) Heuristics, 2) Source Criticism, 3) Interpretation, 4) Historiography. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: 1) the early history of starting to sell and the development of Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina as a culinary tour at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City (1987-2020). Because Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina is often visited by visitors from various regions outside Pariaman City and this Nasi Sek is also a typical culinary of Pariaman City to be tasted. 2) The Impact of the Covid-19 Outbreak on Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina. Because the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak has been felt by various groups in society which has caused economic life to decline.
