Abstract

Based on the weight for height index (WW/TB), the nutritional status of very thin toddlers is 3.5%, the nutritional status of underweight toddlers is 6.7%, and the nutritional status of obese toddlers is 8%. This service aims to provide health education about the benefits of herbal plants that pay attention to the nutritional status of babies and toddlers. This service method is participatory learning action, namely an approach to the learning process and interaction with the community or society. It is hoped that mothers can take advantage of these herbal plants because Moringa leaves, sweet potatoes and papaya contain many benefits, nutrients and vitamins that can improve the nutritional status of babies and toddlers. One of the benefits of papaya is that papaya can prevent digestive disorders in children's stomach organs which can affect their weight. The vitamin A content in Moringa leaf powder is 10 times higher than the vitamin A content in carrots and the vitamin C and iron content in sweet potatoes, making it beneficial for the growth and development of babies and toddlers. After implementing the PLA method service, the level of knowledge of mothers who had babies and toddlers with sufficient knowledge increased by 39% from 52% to 90.1%.

Abstract

The Sandwich Generation has financial difficulties. They are unable to handle additional tasks due to a shortage of resources and the presence of multiple personal obstacles. Residing with their family poses more financial issues due to the additional intricacy of financial planning. This article offers an extensive examination and discourse on the financial difficulties encountered by the sandwich generation, as well as possible solutions. To tackle the financial crisis, the sandwich generation must be provided with extensive financial literacy instruction. This service is provided through a live discourse program aired on Fresh Radio station 95.9 FM. The radio is widely embraced by the younger demographic in Lombok Island.  The primary impact of this community project is to cultivate awareness and comprehension among the younger generation regarding effective money management strategies. It is important to aggressively educate the younger generation, especially the sandwich generation, on financial literacy to develop their understanding of financial matters and improve their skills in managing their finances.

Abstract

 Education is an essential component in determining one's future.  Individuals, especially university students, want to get a higher and improved degree of education. College students should be provided with access to information on scholarships in order to explore exceptional opportunities offered by international schools. This content is sourced from the talk shows conducted at Universitas Mataram. Around 300 students participated in the live discussion event to gather information on scholarships in Australia and many European countries, such as Poland, France, and Germany. This article aims to offer motivation and information about an international scholarship opportunity for persons who have successfully obtained their bachelor's degree. The outcome of this community activity is that participants have a comprehensive understanding of the right selection of scholarships and the necessary processes involved in the scholarship selection process.

Abstract

Kekuasaan kehakiman setelah Perubahan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945 menjadi kekuasaan yang sangat fundamental dan sebagai bagian dari poros kekuasaan yang mempunyai fungsi menegakkan keadilan.Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada anggota perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia Cabang SELONG tentang kemandirian dan independensi kekuasaan kehakiman terkhusus pada Mahkamah Agung. Disamping itu peserta pelatihan diharapakn dapat memahami Konsep ideal penyelenggaraan kekuasaan kekuasaan kehakiman sebagai konsep dari negara hukum dapat terlaksana dengan baik apabila dapat dijamin oleh regulasi yang kuat dan pemahaman bersama secara paripurna antar para pemegang kekuasaan di Indonesia tentang pentingnya kemandirian dan independensi badan peradilan dalam mewujdukan penegakan hukum yang berkeadilan

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatar belakangi hasil pengamatan bahwa guru memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang terhadap penanganan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dengan diagnosa kesulitan belajar spesifik pada PAUD/TK UMAR AL-FARUK. Sehingga dengan keterbatasan pengetahuan yang dimiliki guru maka kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini masih sangat perlu dilakukan. Dimana pengetahuan guru tentang kesulitan belajar spesifik akan membantu mengarahkan guru dalam memberikan pelayanan yang tepat yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan dan kondisi anak.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic which has spread throughout the world has had a very bad impact on the national economy, including the rural economy. Because economic activity in urban areas has stopped, production demand in rural areas has also been affected. By using ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, the objective of this community service is to increase the productivity and economy of Sugihwaras village residents by using several methods. The first is to increase the diversification of existing products while increasing the value of goods sold by the community. Second, increase citizens' marketing level to the next level by providing an understanding of online marketing. The third is to increase the community's basic financial understanding with financial management and basic accounting counseling. The results of the community service program showed that there was a very significant increase in the understanding of the participants on the materials that had been taught.

Abstract

This service is a collaboration between students and lecturers of UIN KHAS Jember and BPKAD in creating an effective asset management model. This service aims to tabulate and reorganize the list of assets owned by the Jember Regency Government and aims to provide education to the public about regional assets.  This is due to the existence of many Jember Government assets, so a systematic asset management process is needed. This service uses a collaborative method of two institutions, namely UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember together with BPKAD to manage assets in the Jember Regency Government. This service produces a systematic asset management model starting from planning, authorization and evaluation processes. as well as public understanding of local government assets.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the academic writing skills of students, particularly those in the early semesters of college, through the utilization of article citations from national and international journals with the assistance of Mendeley. The community service method involves intensive training sessions on Mendeley for early semester students at Bhinneka PGRI University Tulungagung. This training consists of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of the community service indicate that Mendeley training is effective in improving efficiency and accuracy in article citations as well as overall reference management skills. With this training, it is expected that students can produce quality academic papers with accurate and structured citation approaches.

Abstract

The ITE Law or Electronic Information and Transaction Law is a law that regulates electronic information and transactions. The ITE Law was first passed through Law No. 11 of 2008 before finally being revised with Law No. 19 of 2016. The stages of this counseling implementation are carried out for approximately 1 hour. In general, the implementation of activities is: Coordination and communication with the school to obtain a general description of students and identify problems that will be the basis for determining the theme of the activity. School students are one of the largest users of social media from the community, whose age range is 13-20 years. Which psychological condition at that age is still unstable in finding identity. With the ITE law, there are certain rules and restrictions on using social media, including the spread of immoral content, gambling, insults, blackmail / threats; the spread of fake news/hoaxes; personal threats of violence; unlawfully hacking someone else's electronic system; and so on. In addition, there are precautions so that we avoid ITE violations, namely being wise in social media, crosschecking the information obtained, not entering vulnerable personal data on social media, not using sentences that contain elements of sara.

Abstract

During the post-pandemic or endemic period, the government continues to recommend the use of masks and maintenance of hygiene when engaging in activities outside the home. This extends to activities on the campus of the University of Mataram, particularly in the electrical engineering computer laboratory, where students are consistently encouraged to wear masks. To streamline activities in the laboratory, a Mask Detection System using the Haar Cascade Classifier (HCC) Method integrated with a Telegram Bot has been tested. The trial implementation aims to instill discipline among students in mask usage. This system was developed using Visual Studio Code and Python 3.10 tools, with image data input from a webcam. The HCC method is employed to detect students wearing masks or not in the laboratory, utilizing webcam-captured image data. Subsequently, the Telegram bot sends images if individuals are identified wearing masks. The study results demonstrate the system's capability to detect masks within a range of 30 cm to 120 cm. The warning feature, consisting of recorded images of students wearing masks sent via the Telegram bot, operates effectively.
