Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) was carried out as a community service activity implemented in Braja Yekti Village. This program aims to improve the previous village map because there was a discrepancy between the map and the original area and to improve the quality of village development planning through accurate mapping of infrastructure and natural resources which makes "village map making" one of the main work programs to support village development planning. The method used in community service is a qualitative approach with a descriptive-explanatory model, and data is obtained through field surveys with the local hamlet head. The stages of this program begin with discussions with village officials to determine the type of map to be made and scheduling a survey with the hamlet head. The implementation stage involves a survey of hamlet boundaries carried out directly in the field. Furthermore, the post-implementation stage includes the creation of a village map in A0 format that displays the survey results in detail. The results of this program show that village maps can be an important instrument in facilitating communication between the village government and the community, while encouraging more effective and efficient development planning. From the results of the evaluation carried out through questions and answers, the implementation of this village mapping work program shows great potential to provide long-term positive impacts on village development and community welfare in Braja Yekti Village.

The community service methods applied included dissemination and demonstrations of herbal drink production using rhizome plants. Meanwhile, the writing methodology utilizes experiments and primary data from observations and related literature. The program also introduced processing techniques, ranging from cutting and drying to packaging in practical tea bags. Abstract

Fresh cow’s milk has weaknesses, namely it is easily perishable and its shelf life tends to be short. Processing fresh cow’s milk into product is one of the efforts to extend the shelf life of cow’s milk. One of the products that can be made from fresh milk is soap. The ingredients used in making soap are quite simple and widely available in the market at relatively cheap prices. Rosemary can be used as an additive in manufacture of cow’s milk soap. The target of making envirometally friendly soap is directed at people who have dairy cows. The goal to be achieved is to increase the value of cow’s comodity and increase entrepreurship by producing and marketing enviromentally friendly soap and being able to solve the problem of relatively short milk shelf life. This service is divided into several stages. At this stage, a training process was carried out on making soap from fresh cow’s milk waste and marketing methods for the product. It is hoped that milk that can be consumed again can be processed into soap using active ingredients from rosemary, so that the soap produced can increase added value both economically and for the environment. The results of this community service is solid soap using raw materials from milk waste and rosmeray. This community service activity was received with great enthusiasm by the participants who took part in the training on how to make cow's milk soap. There is a significant difference (p<0.05) in the results of the pretest and posttest questionnaires, indicating an increase in understanding of the material presented in this community service activity. This activity has been successfully implemented.

Abstract

One of the post-pandemic impacts has been the near cessation of many businesses, including printing MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). The rapid advancement of the digital era also requires business actors, particularly MSMEs, to engage in public marketing to broaden their reach and make it easier for consumers to locate their business premises. Observations in the field reveal that some MSMEs are still unprepared for the changes brought about by digital marketing and promotion due to limited knowledge among their human resources. This community service activity aims to transfer technology and knowledge to printing MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City through training on using Canva and Google Maps software applications to support their business publicity. The method employed involved delivering materials and practical sessions, with pretests and posttests conducted to assess the participants' skills. Following the training, participants could design using Canva, and the locations of the printing MSMEs were successfully uploaded online. The training results showed a 34% increase in participants' understanding of the material presented.

Abstract

Ledokombo Village is situated in a highland area, and most of its residents are farmers. One of the primary commodities cultivated is mustard greens (sawi). However, simultaneous harvesting often leads to oversupply, causing the price of mustard greens to drop significantly. To address this issue, there is a need for solutions to enhance the selling price of mustard greens through processing into other products. In response to this potential, students from the Collaborative KKN Posko 195 initiated a training program for making Frozen Food Sawi Nuggets for the community, mainly targeting the mothers who are cadres of the posyandu (integrated health service post) in Ledokombo Village. This activity was conducted from August 10 to August 15, 2024, at the KKN Posko 195, with the following objectives: to increase the absorption of mustard greens, to provide the community with an understanding of processed mustard green products, and to enhance motivation in creative economics. The training covered various stages, from ingredient preparation to processing, concluding with a socialization session held at the village hall. Participants showed high enthusiasm throughout the training, and the outcome of this activity was an increased understanding of processed mustard greens as Frozen Food Nuggets. This initiative improved the absorption of mustard greens and encouraged the consumption of processed vegetable products. The positive impacts included the enhancement of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), a reduction in stunting, and the strengthening of food security in Ledokombo Village.

Abstract

This community service was carried out in Tegal Bungur Village, South Lampung Regency, with the main objective of increasing the village officers' understanding of the concept of local culture-based tourism and equipping them with tourism management skills. This activity applies the 7D approach method (Discover, Define, Design, Develop, Deliver, Deploy, Document), which took place in September 2024. This training was attended by 30 participants covering various elements of the Tegal Bungur Village community, consisting of five village officials, three administrators of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), 15 young men and women members of Karang Taruna, five housewives, and two religious figures. The community empowerment process includes three main stages: initial survey, program implementation, and evaluation of results. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in the knowledge (25%), skills (25%), and attitudes (35%) of training participants, consisting of village officials who aim to develop tourist villages. This capacity increase is reflected in the ability of participants to prepare strategic work plans, including the formation of Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) as the main driving force for tourism activities in the village. In addition, several innovations have begun to be designed, such as holding an annual cultural festival and developing a local family-based homestay program. To ensure the sustainability of this program, collaborative support is needed from all elements of society, including the younger generation and local business actors. This support is expected to create a sustainable tourist village and provide a positive economic impact for all villagers.
