Abstract

The study draws on relevant literature, observations, and interviews, revealing that efforts focused on positioning and customer engagement are often misunderstood as branding. UNIQLO, one of the world’s largest fashion apparel companies, integrates the entire process of clothing production, from planning and design to manufacturing, distribution, and retail. UNIQLO expanded its operations in Indonesia on February 13, 2013, and currently operates 65 stores across 25 cities in the country. This paper aims to explore how UNIQLO, a global fast-fashion retailer from Japan, drives its organizational success. UNIQLO is known for its high product quality, particularly through the introduction of its Heat Tech cold-weather underwear line, which is both affordable and suitable for warm climates. The company also continues to innovate through research and development to meet customer needs. UNIQLO's stores have a distinctive presence and strong market positioning. In 2014, the brand launched its mobile online store via a smartphone app, emphasizing customer satisfaction. This paper examines the key factors behind UNIQLO's organizational success.

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced modern era and growing communication technology, mediatization is present in every aspect of people's lives, including in the context of religiosity. The transition to the use of new media in supporting religious activities to keep running faces challenges that are not easy with the issue of the sacredness of religious activities that are communal in nature at first and are forced to change formats. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and supported by a literature review method and complemented by supporting data obtained from researcher observations of related phenomena that occur today. In the end, mediatization in the religious context is like a double-edged sword with all its advantages and challenges, especially for conventional religious leaders who are increasingly eroded in power and reach by influencers who are able to reach a stronger and wider audience.

Abstract

The euphoria of the Indonesian election has been replaced by an escalation of the conflict that is increasingly evident in society. The community seems to be looking for gaps in political figures and making jokes, both opponents and friends, even parties who are not part of the horizontal political conflict vortex. There is a phenomenon in a society where political events are used as material for good jokes and come from mistakes, politicians' mistakes become laughing stock, even being distributed as material for jokes together. The crisis of empathy is thought to make this phenomenon appear in society, but personality can also encourage the emergence of this behavior. This study aims to determine the role of empathy and personality in this case the big five personalities of voters against schadenfreude in election voters. Empathy is measured by the Interpersonal Reactivity Index scale, schadenfreude is measured by Schadenfreude, while the Big Five Inventory (BFI) scale is used to measure personality. 330 respondents were obtained in this study. This study uses a simple regression analysis and stepwise regression. The results of this study indicate that there is no role of empathy for schadenfreude in voters. Big Five Personality Traits have a stimulating role and a partial role towards schadenfreude, namely agreeableness, neuroticism, and openness traits. While the stimulant role between the Big Five Personality Traits on empathy was found in, there is a role partially between the traits agreeableness, neuroticism, conscientiousness, and openness to Schadenfreude to voters.

Abstract

This study discusses the coal conversion project undertaken by Paiton Energy (PE) in Indonesia in response to changes in coal supply. The root cause analysis method is used to systematically map PE case studies. The results show that PE has successfully adapted to changes in coal quality through the coal conversion project, but faces new challenges with the increasingly limited reserves of high-quality coal in the future. Therefore, further adaptation measures are needed to ensure the sustainability of power plant operations in the future.

Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between compensation, physical work environment, and organizational climate with the work motivation and performance of labor employees in DKI Jakarta. Using quantitative methods and a cross-sectional descriptive approach, data was collected from 340 respondents via an online questionnaire. The results of analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) show that the physical work environment and organizational climate have a significant positive influence on employee performance, while compensation does not have a significant influence. However, work motivation is proven to have a significant positive influence on employee performance. These results imply that it is important for companies to pay attention to the physical work environment, organizational climate, and work motivation to improve employee performance. Suggestions for further research include increasing exploration and adding mediating variables.

Abstract

This research describes the results of the analysis which concludes that workplace incivility has a negative influence on organizational identification, while perceived supervisor support and job satisfaction show a positive influence, although not always significant. Apart from that, it was found that organizational identification has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. These findings support previous research which reports that the relationship between these variables is complex and can influence employee performance. Therefore, this research not only provides a better understanding of the factors that influence teacher performance at the Yos Sudarso Karawang school, but also highlights the importance of paying attention to organizational identification in an effort to improve individual performance in an organizational context. In addition, through clear identification of the problem, scope, problem formulation, objectives and benefits of research, this research also contributes to further understanding of important issues in education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study analyzes the significance of the leverage ratio on the efficiency of banking companies with the aim of assessing the readiness and suitability of banking companies in facing the implementation of Basel 4 or Basel 3.1. Data from 47 banking companies in Indonesia from the period 2008 to 2023 were used as material for this study. The data used in the research were analyzed using the Dynamic Stochastic Frontier (DSF) method. This method allows for more accurate efficiency analysis by avoiding assumptions of technology at different times. The researchers hypothesize that banking companies with a leverage ratio level higher than the minimum limit applied in BASEL have better efficiency, and the results of this study show corresponding results within the leverage ratio limit of 20%.
