Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to develop Pop up Book media on metamorphosis material (living animals) and students responses to the media in this learning. The design of this research is Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE model. This study uses 2 approaches, namely quantitative and qualitative. The data collection instruments used were validation sheets and questionnairs. Data collection techniques used validation and distribution of questionnairs. Validation data and student responses were analyzed using a percentage formula. Pop Up Book media went trough several stages of expert validation with the final results of the media feasibility obtaining an average chord of 91,9% with a very feasible category. The result of students responses to the use of Pop up Book media was 0% they didn’t respond independently, 1,56% students responded as less interested, 16,80% responded as interested, and 81,64% responded as very interested. Thus it can be concluded that the Pop up Book media can increase students interest in learning

Abstract

This study aims to examine the form of innovation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning based on technology applied at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ishlah Lendang Batah Praya and analyze its impact on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews with PAI teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study indicate that innovation in PAI learning at this madrasah is realized through the use of digital media such as e-learning platforms, interactive learning videos, and online evaluation applications. This innovation has been proven to increase active student participation, strengthen understanding of religious concepts, and build learning independence. The obstacles faced include limited technological infrastructure and the digital capabilities of some teachers. In general, the implementation of technology-based innovation in PAI learning at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ishlah has made a positive contribution to improving the quality of learning and the relevance of religious education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems of Arabic writing skills among fifth-grade students at MI Nurul Hikmah Lantan. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that students experience difficulties in writing Arabic texts, which are divided into two aspects, namely linguistic and non-linguistic. Linguistic challenges include difficulties in pronouncing Hijaiyah letters, limited vocabulary, weak understanding of grammar (nahwu and sharaf), and insufficient ability to construct sentences accurately. Meanwhile, non-linguistic problems include low interest and self-confidence among students, the suboptimal role of teachers in motivating learning, limited supporting facilities, and a social environment that is not conducive to the Arabic language learning process. Based on these findings, it is recommended that more interactive teaching methods be strengthened, student motivation be increased, and more effective learning facilities be utilized to support Arabic writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the transformation of Islamic educational thought for children in Indonesia and the accompanying educational values throughout history. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with content and historical analysis, data were collected from classical and contemporary literature, educational documents, and the works of Islamic education figures. The findings reveal that Islamic education for children is dynamic and context-sensitive. In the pre-colonial period, it emphasized morality and spirituality rooted in community-based learning. During the colonial era, Islamic and national values were integrated. The post-independence era marked the formalization of education with a focus on character and social responsibility. In the contemporary era, the approach highlights inclusiveness, digital literacy, and religious moderation. The study concludes that Islamic child education remains rooted in Islamic core values while adapting to socio-cultural dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the consistency and fairness of undergraduate thesis assessments at IAI Nurul Hakim Kediri, West Lombok, using Generalizability Theory (G-Theory). Data were collected from the assessments of 13 students by three examiners using four standardized evaluation criteria. Analysis using the EduG software revealed that the largest source of error stemmed from the interaction among persons, raters, and criteria (PRQ). The generalizability coefficient of 0.93 indicates excellent reliability of the assessment instrument. To enhance fairness, efforts should be made to reduce variability in facet interactions. Simulations showed that increasing the number of raters and criteria could improve reliability. While Option 5 yielded the most optimal results, Options 3 and 4 are also worth considering as they offer a balance between reliability and resource efficiency. This study underscores the importance of well-designed assessment systems to ensure fair and consistent undergraduate thesis evaluations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of 21st-century skills in madrasas in mathematics learning and the implementation of 21st-century skills in mathematics learning to help madrasah students face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and to determine the factors that support and hinder the implementation of 21st-century learning in madrasas. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Research data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis such as lesson plans, learning media, syllabi, and student evaluation results. The results show that mathematics learning in madrasas is currently only in the initial stage of implementing 21st-century skills. Mathematics learning that integrates 21st-century skills not only improves academic achievement but also helps build students' character and ability to adapt to an ever-changing world. 21st-century mathematics learning in madrasas still faces many challenges such as conventional approaches, limited teacher competencies, and inadequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum is implemented by teachers at MI NW Nurul Haramain Narmada and to identify the challenges encountered in its application. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with a field research design, carried out through direct observation at the research site to obtain both primary and secondary data, with interviews serving as the main data collection technique. The findings indicate that implementing the Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers to have a deep understanding of its concepts and application, which is gained through various training activities. However, challenges remain, as some teachers still require further guidance due to an incomplete understanding of the curriculum’s principles. To address these issues, the school conducts regular training sessions to enhance teachers’ understanding and practical skills. The main difference between the Merdeka Curriculum and the previous curriculum lies in the inclusion of project-based learning, which fosters collaboration among students and hones critical thinking skills. This approach has been effectively integrated into learning activities, aligning with students’ needs and encouraging their active participation.

Abstract

Technological developments have brought positive impacts as well as ethical challenges, especially for the younger generation in using social media. The phenomena of cyber bullying, the spread of hoaxes, hate speech, and negative content have become serious issues that require comprehensive solutions. This study aims to examine how Islamic education plays a role in addressing ethical issues in social media. The research method used is a literature review with a normative and contextual approach. The results show that Islamic values, such as tabayyun (clarification of information), mujahadah al-nafs (self-control), and the principle of ukhuwah (brotherhood), are relevant to be applied in facing digital challenges. Additionally, the integration of Islamic-based digital literacy into the education curriculum can equip students with practical skills and a moral foundation for using social media. However, the implementation of Islamic Education as a solution to digital ethics still faces obstacles, such as the lack of digital literacy material in the curriculum, the suboptimal role of teachers as role models for digital communication, and weak parental guidance. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the curriculum, increase teacher capacity, and create synergy between schools, families, and communities to build a healthy and ethical digital ecosystem
