Abstract

Banda Sakti District, which is the capital of Lhokseumawe, certainly requires the development of city infrastructure that is orderly, neat, orderly and has comfortable open spaces, so that it is not disturbed by street vendors selling in front of shops, on the side of the road, on the sidewalks on Jalan Pase. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of government policy in removing street vendors. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research through interviews, observation and documentation, data analysis techniques are carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. This research used 9 informants who were determined purposively. The results of the research found that on Jalan Pase there were 38 out of 270 street vendors selling on the side of the road, in front of shops, on sidewalks, in front of offices and schools and were not willing to move to the location (relocation) that had been provided by the Lhokseumawe City Government due to relocation (place new) does not match the condition. The conclusion is that the government policy of Lhokseumawe Mayor Regulation Number 06 of 2010 concerning the relocation of controlling street vendors has been implemented through an individual approach by providing warnings, but the government's objectives regarding the relocation of street vendors have not been realized effectively, because the street vendors have not been successfully moved to the new relocation .

Abstract

The ability to speak English is an essential skill that students must have to prepare for the future and communicate effectively in an increasingly connected world. In Indonesia, a developing country with linguistic diversity, mastery of English is a key skill to access opportunities in education, careers and international life. However, the development of speaking skills is often a challenge in formal educational settings such as schools. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of two English learning methods, namely the use of videos and textbooks, in developing the speaking skills of grade XI students of SMK Mitra Nusantara Jati Bening Baru, Pondok Gede, Bekasi.The research method used is comparative quantitative research with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the Independent Samples T-Test showed that there was no significant difference in students' speaking skills between the group taught using videos and the group taught using textbooks, with a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.113 indicating that the mean difference of 2.920 between the two groups was not significant at the 0.05 level of significance. This finding indicates that both teaching methods are equally effective in improving students' speaking skills.This study is expected to provide valuable insights for teachers and school staff regarding the use of videos and textbooks in English language teaching, as well as assist in developing more innovative curriculum and teaching methods according to the needs of students in the digital era.

Abstract

Tissue perfusion abnormalities may impair cell metabolism, leading to shock, a severe pathophysiological condition. Complete peripheral circulatory failure occurs under shock situations, leading to insufficient tissue perfusion. Hypoperfusion of end organs and mortality may result from shock-related low cardiac output, even in the presence of sufficient intravascular volume. Cardiogenic shock is associated with a relatively high mortality rate; around 22.4% of patients pass away within the first year. This research made use of a narrative review approach to its literature evaluation. According to this study's findings, which were derived from a survey of ten literatures, inotropic and vasopressor treatment is the norm for individuals experiencing cardiogenic shock. This study's findings suggest that inotropic and vasopressor medications are best employed as a bridge between treatments or as an initial line of defense in the fight for hemodynamic stability. Norepinephrine and dobutamine are the inotropic and vasopressor medicines of choice for the treatment of cardiogenic shock, according to many recent research and guidelines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan pertanian yang ada di Indonesia yang berkelanjutan, dengan fokus pada kebijakan pertanian yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah di Indonesia. Pengelolaan sumber daya alam di Indonesia menjadi isu krusial dalam mendukung keberlanjutan sektor pertanian. Kearifan lokal adalah identitas atau kepribadian budaya sebuah bangsa yang menyebabkan bangsa tersebut mampu menyerap, bahkan mengolah kebudayaan yang berasal dari luar/bangsa lain menjadi watak dan kemampuan sendiri, (Wibowo, 2015). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan dengan studi literatur. Sumber data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber informasi yang relevan seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel penlitian, dan juga berita. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan cara membaca terlebih dahulu kemudian memahami data-data yang diperoleh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa yang menjadi tantangan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya pertanian berbasis kearifan lokal adalah faktor lingkungan seperti industrialisasi yang banyak menimbulkan pencemaran (tanah, air, dan udara) baik melalui proses produksi maupun konsumsi. Kemudian faktor sosial atau cara pandang penduduk yang kurang menghargai sumberdaya alam dan lingkungan sebagai faktor pendukung kelangsungan hidup mereka

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi dan fasilitas terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan ke objek wisata Museum Ne'Gandeng kabupaten Toraja Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan populasi pengunjung objek wisata Museum Ne'Gandeng kabupaten Toraja Utara. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 97 sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan uji instrumen yang terdiri dari uji validitas, uji reliabilitas. Uji asumsi klasik terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas dan heteroskedastisitas, uji hipotesis terdiri dari uji regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji f dan uji koefisien determinasi. Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan nilai R Square sebesar 0,176 atau sama dengan 17,6%. Hal ini menunjukkan sumbangan atau input yang diberikan variabel promosi dan fasilitas terhadap keputusan berkunjung sebesar 17,6% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Sedangkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa promosi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan berkunjung dengan nilai signifikansi 0,004 < 0,05 dan variabel promosi memperoleh t hitung sebesar 2,968 < t tabel 1,985 dan fasilitas berpengaruh terhadap keputusan berkunjung dengan nilai signifikansi 0,006 < 0,05 dan variabel fasilitas memperoleh t hitung sebesar 2,822 < t tabel 1,985

Abstract

Indonesia has a long history as a country that was colonized for almost 350 years. This makes Indonesia rich in historical heritage, both national and local in every region. The importance of building awareness of historical continuity, especially for the younger generation, is necessary to preserve historical sites and heritage. One of the efforts made is to introduce local history to the younger generation through a webcomic titled "Gedangan 1904," which tells the story of the colonial events in Sidoarjo, East Java. This comic combines two timelines, namely the year 2024 and 1904, to make the historical message more relevant and engaging for the target audience. In the process of its creation, character design becomes an important element to strengthen the storyline. This article discusses the process of designing the main character in the comic "Gedangan 1904," with the aim of preserving local history through a creative approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students' vocabulary mastery and their learning activities by using the TikTok application to improve students' vocabulary mastery at MTS Al Hidayah Bekasi. This research uses action research method. Based on research conducted through the Class Action Research (CAR) method, the researcher concluded that the use of the Tik-Tok Application is a very influential learning medium in helping to improve the mastery and skills of English vocabulary in grade 8 MTS Al Hidayah Bekasi.

Abstract

Corruption is a serious threat to the development of society and the economy, including in Indonesia. In various sectors, corruption has taken root and resulted in the loss of public trust and the weakening of state institutions. In this context, higher education plays an important role in shaping the character and integrity of the younger generation. The Student Executive Board (BEM) functions as an agent of change in education and student empowerment, especially in preventing corruption through education and awareness campaigns. This study aims to analyze the role of the BEM of the Faculty of Law in preventing corruption, explore the challenges faced, and formulate strategies to increase the effectiveness of the program. The methods used include seminars, workshops, and collaboration with external institutions such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The findings show that effective education can change student behavior, while technology and social media can expand the reach of the campaign. The results of the study are expected to contribute positively to the development of BEM and create an academic environment free from corruption, while equipping students with the integrity needed to create a better future.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in toddlers characterized by below-standard height for their age. The main cause of stunting is chronic malnutrition which often starts during pregnancy. Inadequate nutritional intake from pregnant women has a major effect on fetal growth. Adequate nutrient intake, including calories, protein, vitamins and minerals, is essential to support fetal growth and prevent the risk of stunting. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of nutritional intake for pregnant women in preventing stunting, taking into account various factors that affect maternal and child health. The methodology used in this research is a literature review. The literature sources used were Google Scholar and Semantic. Literature inclusion requirements include based on the title, keywords Nutrition, Pregnant women, Stunting, abstract suitability, full text review, and finally quality evaluation to assess the validity and reliability of each study that matches the topic to be discussed with the range of years 2019-2024. This study reveals the findings of the effectiveness of adequate nutritional intake in pregnant women and environmental factors such as lack of knowledge and lifestyle can affect the prevention of stunting risk in the fetus that will be born, with good macronutrient intake such as protein, Vitamins A, C, K, E and B complex, magnesium, iron, folic acid, fiber, energy, unsaturated fat, carbohydrates, fiber, calcium, iron, vitamins B1 & B2 can prevent stunting.  Nutritional supplementation for pregnant women is also significantly associated with newborn health, indicating that the nutritional status of the mother influences the fetus to be born without stunting.

Abstract

The loss of character and identity of the Indonesian nation in the younger generation is one of the negative impacts of globalization. One effort to strengthen the character and patriotism of the younger generation can be done by introducing local culture through modern media. Jekdong puppet is one of the local cultures that is rarely known by the younger generation. In Jekdong puppet, there is a story of a puppet character who has an inspiring patriotic character, namely Bambang Sumantri. Modern media that can be used to present the story of Bambang Sumantri is webcomic because it has advantages in terms of visuals and is effective in conveying character values. Character design, as an important basic element in comics, is made by transforming the form of Jekdong puppets into a more modern form using the ATUMICS method. With this character design, it is hoped that it can provide insight into the visual characteristics of Jekdong puppets and strengthen the patriotism of the younger generation.
