Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how coloring activities impact the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at the Pembina State Kindergarten, Pancur Batu District. This research uses an experimental type of research. This research design uses True Experimental Design, with a post-test only control group design. The experimental and control groups consisted of each other. This research involved 30 early childhood children aged between 5 and 6 years. The independent variable in this research is coloring activities and the dependent variable is fine motor development. The data collection method consists of structured observation and analysis data collected using the t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of coloring activities on the fine motor development of young children in the Pembina State Kindergarten, Pancur Batu District. This is proven by statistical calculations through the average value given different treatments, namely 13.13 for the experimental class and 7.66 for the control class. Where the t-test results show a tcount of 12.128. For hypothesis testing criteria using a real level of 0.05 with dk = n1 + n2-2 or dk 28, the ttable is 1.701. So it can be concluded that tcount 12.128 > ttable 1.701, which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected or the same as coloring activities have a significant effect on the fine motor development of early childhood children 5-6 years old in the Pembina State Kindergarten, Pancur Batu District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the prohibition on littering as regulated in Law Number 32 of 2009. The research method used is analysis of secondary data from various sources such as literature, government reports and related case studies. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of the ban on littering still experiences several obstacles. Factors such as a lack of public awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean environment, limited waste management infrastructure, and a lack of consistent law enforcement are some of the main factors influencing the successful implementation of this Law. In addition, there needs to be a collaborative effort between the government, society and the private sector to increase understanding of the importance of environmental cleanliness and strengthen infrastructure and an effective law enforcement system to ensure compliance with the prohibition on littering. This research suggests the need for a holistic and sustainable approach in addressing this problem, through broader environmental education, stronger policy development, adequate resource allocation, and increased public awareness and participation in keeping the environment clean.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' difficulties in solving mathematics questions on number operations by analyzing using qualitative descriptive methods for Class IV students at SDN 101765 Bandar Setia. The analytical method that will be used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method based on Newman's theory. The results of the research show that there are learning difficulties experienced by students at this school, based on findings in the field the learning difficulties experienced are difficulty reading and understanding questions, processing and transformative difficulties, difficulty writing answers. Difficulty reading and understanding the questions was seen in students who were unable to answer the researcher's questions about fraction operations. The results of the document show that there are still some students who have not been able to complete fraction calculations. Processing and transformative difficulties were seen in students who were unable to answer the researcher's questions about fraction operations. The document results show that there are still some students who have not been able to complete fraction calculations. And difficulties in writing answers are seen in students who have been able to do all the steps, but when it comes to determining the answer they cannot. In this research, students were still unable to multiply the answers with the correct answer.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model assisted by Song Clip Video Media on the Poetry Writing Ability of Class X Students of SMA Negeri 7 Medan in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The research method used is the experimental two group post-test design method. The research results showed that the average score for the poetry writing ability of experimental class students was 79.68, which was considered good, while the average score for the control class was 62.88, which was considered sufficient. Hypothesis testing shows that tcount > ttable, namely, 6.17 > 2.056, so the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This proves that there is an influence of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model assisted by song video clip media on the ability to write poetry in class X students of SMA Negeri 7 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year.
