Abstract

This community service project aimed to enhance English teachers’ competencies in integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into teaching through web-based learning. The program was conducted for members of the Subject Teacher Forum (MGMP) in Rokan Hulu Regency, involving 44 participants consisting of teachers and school staff. The training focused on developing basic knowledge and practical skills in creating and managing blogs as interactive learning media using platforms such as WordPress. The methods employed included lectures, hands-on practice, discussions, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of website-based learning, as shown by increased post-test scores compared to pre-test results. The training successfully stimulated participants’ creativity and ability to develop and publish instructional materials online. It is expected that participants will further implement and disseminate these skills to improve the quality of teaching and learning processes. Continued training is recommended to deepen participants’ competencies in ICT-based education.

Abstract

The Free Nutritional Meals Program is a public policy aimed at improving the nutrition and quality of human resources for schoolchildren. However, its success is also determined by how the public perceives the program through the mass media. The objectives of this study were: 1) to identify public perceptions of the Free Nutritional Meals Program, 2) to determine public responses to the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meals Program, and 3) to identify the role of the mass media in shaping public perceptions of the Free Nutritional Meals Program. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, located in Kuningan Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with three informants selected using purposive sampling. Data were also supplemented with secondary data in the form of journals, books, and media reports. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through source triangulation. The results showed that the public generally understood the goals, objectives, and benefits of the Free Nutritional Meals Program through media coverage and provided a positive response, accompanied by a critical and realistic attitude towards its implementation in the field. Mass media plays a crucial role in shaping public perception through the presentation of clear information, the use of visuals, and concrete examples of implementation, thus helping the public interpret programs as relevant policy innovations. This research emphasizes the crucial role of mass communication in shaping public perception of government policies.

Abstract

This research analyzes the link between green perceived value and purchase intention within the context of sustainable consumption, specifically investigating the dual mediating roles played by green trust and attitudes toward green products. This analysis focuses on consumers of The Body Shop within the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Adopting a quantitative research design, this study employed a survey method involving the distribution of questionnaires to 150 respondents, who were recruited through a purposive sampling technique. Respondents were consumers who understood that the research object was an environmentally friendly product, had purchase intentions, and were at least 17 years old. To test the proposed conceptual model, this study utilized Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), with the analysis performed using SmartPLS software. The data confirms that green perceived value has a robust positive impact on trust, attitude, and purchase intention within the context of environmentally friendly products. Furthermore, both green trust and product attitudes significantly enhance purchase intentions. Mediation tests further confirm that these two variables serve as critical pathways through which green perceived value affects consumer intentions. This study confirms that green value perception is essential for fostering trust and positive attitudes, which are pivotal in translating consumer interest into actual green purchase intent. This study contributes by developing a model that positions attitude toward green products as an alternative mediator, thereby enriching our understanding of the psychological mechanisms influencing the purchase behavior of green products.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of school head leadership practices as perceived by teachers on their organizational behavior. The study are as follows: majority of school leader’s leadership practices were found outstanding based on their mission, vision, and goals, school culture, policies and procedures, organization and resources, teachers, programs and instruction, school-community relations, and information collection and decision making; dimensions of organizational behavior such as institutional identification, duty and responsibility, helpfulness, administrative contribution, sacrifice, communication and interaction, and personal and institutional development were found strongly agree; there was a significant relationship between school head’s leadership practices and organizational behavior, however, school head’s leadership practices did not show significant effect on teacher’s organizational behavior.; and a proposed feedback framework is recommended.

Abstract

Energetic materials such as ammonium perchlorate (AP), RDX, and HMX are essential in modern defense systems but pose multidimensional risks across industrial supply chains. This study presents a literature-based assessment integrating hazard profiling with node-based risk characteristics; RDX shows high acute process instability, AP poses environmental risks due to perchlorate mobility in groundwater, and HMX presents strategic coupling risk from production interdependence. A Coupled Risk Triangle Model is proposed, framing energetic chemical governance as a dynamic system linking reactive instability, environmental persistence, and strategic supply concentration. The findings indicate that risks extend beyond occupational safety to environmental regulation and national security resilience. Effective mitigation therefore requires lifecyle-integrated governance, supply diversification, and resilience-oriented industrial strategies.

Abstract

Human resource management is the science and art of managing worker relationships and functions so that they can effectively and efficiently contribute to the accomplishment of organizational, employee, and community goals. The degree to which a business meets its objectives determines whether it succeeds or fails. The availability of sufficient human resources at Stella Maris Hospital is one of the elements influencing a business's performance in reaching its objectives. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of work experience and competence on Stella Marris Hospital employees' productivity.Path analysis was the research methodology adopted in this study. A sample of 92 Stella Marris Hospital employees was taken. The results of the study demonstrate how employees' productivity at Stella Maris Hospital is greatly influenced, either entirely or partially, by their level of competence and work experience.

Abstract

This study analyzes the performance of an initial PID controller in the pitch channel of a quadcopter UAV using an empirical flight log exported from UAV Log Viewer. The aim is to evaluate pitch stability and command-following response by comparing desired pitch, current pitch, and North-East position data recorded during a 89.96s valid segment (2649 samples), analyzed through time-history inspection and error metrics. The method applies qualitative-quantitative log analysis with error metrics, time-history inspection, and trajectory interpretation. The results show weak pitch tracking: desired pitch varied from -1.34° to 4.14°, while measured pitch remained narrow at -0.73° to -0.50°; The log yielded MAE was 1.65°, RMSE was 2.04°, IAE = 148.46 degrees, and pitch correlation = 0.03.°. The findings imply that the initial gains are safe for data collection, but inadequate for responsive pitch control and require retuning.

Abstract

This study was conducted at the Payung Subdistrict Office in Karo Regency to analyze employee performance in providing services to the public. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the Subdistrict Head, the Secretary, employees, and members of the public. This study focused on service performance, responsiveness, and service effectiveness. Data were analyzed through a process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that employee performance is generally good, as assessed by timeliness, responsiveness, and friendliness. However, there are still limitations regarding the clarity of service information and administrative procedures. These findings suggest the need to improve information dissemination and service coordination to enhance overall service effectiveness.
