Abstract

In today's digital era, information technology (IT) plays an important role as the main support for business processes in various organizations, companies, and government agencies. Disruptions in IT services can have a serious impact on business operations, so effective IT service management is needed to improve service quality and stability. This research aims to identify gaps in IT incident management at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Merak Pekalongan City by applying the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 framework which is an industry standard for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM). Research methods include interviews, observations, and literature studies, followed by a gap analysis between existing conditions and ideal conditions in handling IT incidents. The findings show that the current incident management process is reactive, without structured incident logging, and there is no standard escalation and resolution time. Based on the results of the gap analysis, this research produces a draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that covers incident handling, escalation, incident closure, and recapitulation. This SOP aims to improve incident handling efficiency, speed up response time, and ensure better incident documentation. ITIL implementation is expected to improve IT service performance, reduce the impact of disruptions, and provide added value to customers. This research contributes to the development of more effective incident management procedures in organizations, particularly those operating in the telecommunications sector.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of teachers in the learning process of workshops due to limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as higher student interest in technology-based learning media due to its accessibility. The purpose of this research is to design a workshop learning media for class VII using Google Sites at SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with Luther Sutopo's Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model. This model consists of six stages: conception, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The results showed that the designed learning media was declared valid, practical, and effective based on the product test results. The validity test resulted in an average score of 0.82 (valid category), the practicality test obtained an average score of 0.89 (very high category), and the effectiveness test obtained an average score of 0.84 (high effectiveness category). It is expected that this learning media can improve the quality of workshop learning, provide convenience for teachers, and motivate students in the learning process. The implication of this research is that the integration of technology in learning can be an innovative solution to overcome the limitations of facilities and infrastructure, while encouraging the creation of more interesting and effective learning.

Abstract

Civic engagement includes social and political dimensions, and the two dimensions are interrelated in line with this. In this study, the author uses the Scientific Procedures and Rationales for Systematic Literature Reviews protocol (SPAR-4-SLR). In the protocol, there are three stages and six sub-stages. The stages consist of Assembling, Arranging, and Assessing, and the sub-stages consist of Identification, Acquisition, Organization, Purification, Evaluation, and Reporting. Furthermore, the author used thematic, descriptive, and bibliometric analysis techniques. In bibliometric analysis, the author used the VOSviewer application version 1.6.20. The study's results using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the SPAR-4-SLR protocol show the breadth of research developments related to digital citizenship and civic engagement in various topics and various types of studies or methods. The diversity of country and institutional backgrounds of the authors of articles related to Digital Citizenship and Civic Engagement from each article also shows the broad interest value in the category.

Abstract

Second language acquisition in early childhood is interesting to study. The purpose of this study was to determine the Arabic language acquisition ability of teachers' children at the Darussalam Parmeraan Islamic Boarding School, to find out the problems faced by teachers' children in learning Arabic as a second language at the Darussalam Parmeraan Islamic Boarding School, and to find out solutions to difficulties in learning Arabic as a second language at the Darussalam Parmeraan Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is qualitative and descriptive research using case studies. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documents, and the data analysis methods used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the methods used in the learning process at the Darussalam Parmeraan Islamic Boarding School include direct methods, audio-lingual methods, presentation methods, and question-and-answer methods. The learning media teachers use are appropriate and interesting for children, such as pictures, paintings, picture books, games, and audio visuals. The difficulties experienced by children are easily forgetting the vocabulary that has been taught, and children have difficulty pronouncing letters and vocabulary, pronouncing "ro" as "lo". The solutions to overcome these difficulties include getting teachers used to communicating with children directly using Arabic, teachers helping children master pronunciation through continuous practice, providing examples of clear letter pronunciation, and using learning media. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for improving Arabic language learning for children.

Abstract

Learning media plays an important role as a tool in facilitating the teaching and learning process. The use of learning media is essential in simplifying complex concepts, such as electrical energy circuits, to increase students' engagement and interest in science subjects. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) methodology that aims to design and produce audiovisual-based learning media for integrated science subjects on the topic of “electrical energy circuits” for grade VI students at SDN 20 Limo Balai. The developed learning media is designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process in science education in elementary schools. The research findings show that the audiovisual-based learning media significantly supports teachers and students in the teaching and learning process. The media achieved a validity score of 0.56, categorized as valid, a practicality score of 0.87, indicating that the media is very practical, and an effectiveness score of 0.77, which is categorized as effective. These results indicate the high feasibility and suitability of the developed media as a science learning aid in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to classify jellyfish species based on visual images using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. The main challenge lies in the morphological similarities between species, making manual identification prone to errors. This research employs a dataset containing images of six jellyfish species: Moon Jellyfish, Blue Jellyfish, Mauve Stinger Jellyfish, Compass Jellyfish, Barrel Jellyfish, and Lion's Mane Jellyfish. The dataset undergoes preprocessing techniques such as normalization, dimension adjustment, and image augmentation.The designed CNN model consists of convolutional and pooling layers to recognize complex visual patterns. Model testing was conducted using validation and test datasets, achieving a classification accuracy of over 90%. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the CNN method in addressing the challenges of automatic marine species identification.This study is expected to contribute to marine biodiversity conservation and support the development of AI-based technologies for ecosystem management. The implications include broader applications in marine species identification and environmental preservation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ethics of using the social media platform TikTok from an Islamic perspective. As a popular social media platform, TikTok has significantly changed the way individuals interact and share content. However, the use of TikTok also raises various ethical issues that need to be addressed, especially in the context of Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to collect and analyze relevant literature. Data is collected from various sources, including books, journal articles, and official documents discussing ethics in social media usage and Islamic teachings. Content analysis techniques are used to identify the main themes that emerge from the literature and relate them to the context of TikTok usage. The results show that the ethics of using TikTok in Islamic teachings include principles such as maintaining the honor of oneself and others, avoiding indecent or harmful content, and promoting goodness and positive values. TikTok can be an effective tool for dawah and spreading Islamic values if used wisely and responsibly. This study provides in-depth insights into how Islamic teachings can be integrated into the use of TikTok, and its implications for character and moral development in the digital society. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for TikTok users, policymakers, and academics in understanding and applying ethical social media usage in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study analyzes the social influence on the adoption of Microsoft Teams using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), examining 51 relevant articles that discuss social influence and technology adoption. The results show that social support, interpersonal communication, and network size significantly affect an individual's decision to use Microsoft Teams. The article selection process follows the PRISMA methodology, with articles indexed in Q1 and Q2 Scopus journals. The findings indicate that social influences, such as recommendations from friends or colleagues, can enhance an individual's intention to adopt technology. These results provide guidance for policymakers to leverage social influence in promoting the adoption of collaborative technologies, contributing to productivity and collaboration in the education and economic sectors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the extent of the application of learning assessments that align with the Independent Curriculum at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001/V Kuala Tungkal. This research is qualitative and descriptive. It involves the principal and two classroom teachers from Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001/V as the data sources. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, processing data from research materials, reading and noting relevant information, as well as data from various literature sources. Using a descriptive qualitative research methodology, data was collected through literature review/library studies. The research results concluded that the curriculum learning assessment at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001/V covers three assessment domains: affective, cognitive, and psychomotor, whereas the assessment process is carried out through five main stages consisting of reviewing the syllabus, making assessment grids, conducting assessment activities, analyzing assessment results, and compiling assessment reports. Based on these findings, it is recommended that learning assessment continues to be carried out by paying attention to the established assessment standards.

Abstract

The use of learning media in science education is increasingly important to improve students' learning competence and motivation, yet there is still a gap in the understanding of the effectiveness of strategic media management. This study aims to explore the role of learning media management in improving students' competencies as well as understanding the influence of students' preferences for learning media on their learning motivation. This study used a quantitative design with a survey method. The sample consisted of 54 junior high school students in North Sumatra Province who were selected using the convenience sampling method. Data were collected through an online survey covering four main constructs: teachers' learning media management strategies, students' science competencies, students' preferences for learning media, and students' learning motivation. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS (V.4) software to test the validity and reliability of the research instruments and SPSS (V.26) to analyze the relationship between variables through multiple regression analysis (univariate; ENTER model). The results showed that effective management of learning media, especially in visualizing complex concepts, had a significant influence on improving the procedural aspects of students' competence, although the influence on conceptual understanding was still limited. In addition, students' preference for relevant, engaging, and contextualized media was shown to positively influence their motivation, especially in the aspects of active engagement and learning comfort. These findings highlight the importance of interactive and strategic media design and the need for teacher training in maximizing the use of learning media. The implications of this study include the development of educational policies that support the integration of student preference-based learning media and the increase of teachers' capacity to manage media effectively to improve student learning outcomes.
