Abstract

This study discusses the assistance of learning Aswaja material through the application of peer learning methods in the religious education environment at the madrasah tsnawiyah level. The peer learning method was chosen as an approach to increase students' understanding and involvement in learning Aswaja concepts. This mentoring process involves students as facilitators in study groups, where they share knowledge and learning experiences with each other. A qualitative approach was used in this study, with case studies as the main framework. The research participants consisted of students, teachers, and school administrators who were directly involved in the learning process. Data was collected through interviews, participatory observations, as well as analysis of curriculum documents and evaluation of student learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the use of the peer learning method in Aswaja learning is able to increase student engagement, strengthen understanding of the material, and encourage collaboration between students. Challenges faced in the application of this method include differences in abilities between students and the need for facilitator training to be more effective in guiding groups. The discussion highlights the implications of these findings for the development of the Aswaja learning method in religious education institutions as well as strategic recommendations to optimize the application of peer learning methods to improve the quality of education.

This study uses a qualitative method with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which involves the active participation of community members at the Thariqul Falah Taklim Council, Toboleu Village, Ternate City. The data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and focused group discussions, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis technique consisting of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn/verification. The results of the study showed that the training succeeded in improving the participants' theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence in caring for the body, as well as strengthening the sense of collective responsibility and community solidarity. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a participatory approach and flexibility in the implementation of community-based training to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of future religious education programs.

Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of tempe-based culinary training programs in improving the nutritional status of toddlers and empowering the local economy in Jati Sumberlawang village, Indonesia. The main objective of this research is to identify how tempe, a locally available and nutritious food, can be optimized as a supplementary food (PMT) to address malnutrition among toddlers while also providing economic benefits to the community. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation analysis. Data were collected from 20 mothers who participated in the training and were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key patterns and outcomes. The results indicate a significant improvement in the mothers' knowledge and skills in processing tempe into various child-friendly dishes, which led to increased acceptance and consumption among toddlers. Additionally, some participants began commercializing tempe-based products, leading to increased household income. The implications of this study suggest that community-based culinary training can serve as an effective model for improving child nutrition and promoting local economic development. This research highlights the potential for replicating similar programs in other rural communities facing similar nutritional challenges.
