Gurutta of Education: Journal of Islamic Religious Education Studies and Islamic Education Issues (e-ISSN: 2829-6737) It is published twice a year in June and December. The Journal of Islamic Religious Education is published by the Masters Study Program of Islamic Religious Education Postgraduate Program at the Muslim University of Indonesia and contains scientific writings on the study of Islamic Religious Education and related studies. It contains various thoughts in various forms, such as research results, conceptual ideas, and empirical experiences. In its development, Gurutta Journal pioneered online publishing and expanded the range of contributors from all over the archipelago. In the future, JGE will expand the scope of contributors from several Islamic countries and other countries that have an interest in the study of Islamic education in the archipelago and internationally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji usaha guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam membina akhlak serta efektifitas pembinaan akhlak siswa di MAN Gowa Kelurahan Malakaji Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, berupaya mengungkapkan kajian tentang usaha guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam membina akhlak serta efektifitas pembinaan akhlak yang ditemukan dilapangan. Informasi diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan usaha pembinaan akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gowa.Peran guru Agama Islam dalam membina akhlak siswa sudah berperan aktif di sekolah tersebut hal ini terlihat dalam usahanya melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Kegiatan intrakurikuler ini di laksanakan dalam jam pembelajaran dengan membiasakan siswa mengucapkan salam dan salim dan membaca doa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran sedangkan ekstrakurikuler di laksanakan diluar jam pelajaran yaitu shalat dhuhur secara berjama’ah, dan melaksanakan kultum sesudah shalat dhuhur. Adapun efektifitas pelaksanaan pembinaan dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler ini memperlihatkan bahwa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gowa telah melaksanakan dengan sebaik-baiknya yang tercermin dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peran antara hubungan pola asuh orang tua terhadap akhlak siswa dan pengaruh pola asuh terhadap akhlak siswa di SMP Negeri 34 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan pedagogik, subjek penelitiannya adalah guru, orang tua, dan siswa SMP Negeri 34 Makassar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh berpengaruh positif dan memiliki hubungan dengan pembentukan akhlak. Kenyataan dilapangan membuktikan bahwa setiap keluarga tidak hanya terpaku pada satu jenis pola asuh, karena orang tua menyadari bahwa pola asuh harus disesuaikan dengan konteks kebutuhan dan kemampuan anak, untuk itu terkadang pola asuh yang berhasil. dilaksanakan oleh keluarga belum tentu dapat diterapkan. baik oleh keluarga lain. Karena setiap keluarga memiliki nilai-nilai tersendiri. Pengaruh pola asuh (demokratis, pasif, otoriter, dan lalai) berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan akhlak siswa SMP Negeri 34 Makassar. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil uji T (parsial) nilai signifikansi = 0,000, korelasi parsial pola asuh terhadap pembentukan moral anak di SMP Negeri 34 Makassar sebesar 0,621 atau 62,1%. Dari hasil perhitungan tersebut ternyata nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel dimana nilai signifikansi 0,000 Lebih kecil dari 0,01. Sehingga hipotesis yang berbunyi ada hubungan dan pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola asuh terhadap pembentukan akhlak anak di SMP Negeri 34 Makassar

Abstract

Managing zakat infaq and alms (ZIS) funds at the Amil Zakat Agency in Makassar City requires good management. Therefore, the Amil Zakat Agency is required to play an active role in achieving this. Makassar City's ZIS management, Maqasid Al-Syariah, was chosen as a benchmark used as an indicator of aid management with the aim of improving community welfare. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Zakat, Infak, and Alms Assistance Management (ZIS) in the Maqsid Al-Syar'ah Perspective at BAZNAS Makassar City using a descriptive qualitative research approach. In the process of collecting data, the author uses several methods, namely the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the management of assistance in the management of Zakat Infak Alms funds for the Makassar City BAZNAS program has been in accordance with Maqsid al-Syar'ah; the thing that has had a major impact on the MAKASSAR SEJAHTERA program is the revolving fund assistance program for micro-enterprises, while the Ad-Din aspect of this is in accordance with the objectives of the Makasar TAKWA, HEALTHY MAKASSAR, and SMART MAKASSAR programs, although each has not been maximized; The effectiveness of ZIS BAZNAS Assistance Management in Makassar City still has various main problems, including: the coordination pattern of OPZ in general is not optimal; the understanding of zakat fiqh and regulations in regional BAZNAS leaders is generally still weak; the competence of regional BAZNAS leaders; the management and functions of regional BAZNAS; and the quality of HR BAZNAS AMI in general is still weak

Abstract

Learning to read the Quran is one of the subjects in Islamic Religious Education in schools. Islamic Religious Education serves as a means of knowledge transformation in the religious aspect (cognitive aspect), as a tool for transforming norms and moral values to shape attitudes (affective aspect), playing a role in controlling behavior (psychomotor aspect), thus creating a complete human personality. The aim of this research is to determine (1) the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in enhancing the Quran reading abilities of students at SMAN 15 Makassar and (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting the role of PAI teachers in improving Quran reading abilities. The researcher used a qualitative approach, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources were obtained from the school principal, PAI teachers, and students of SMAN 15 Makassar. The data processing involved three stages: data reduction, data display, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that the role of PAI teachers in enhancing students' Quran reading abilities includes providing motivation, implementing effective methods, and serving as a learning source and guide. The methods used for improving students' Quran reading abilities are Iqro' method, demonstration method, and memorization method. Factors influencing students' Quran reading abilities consist of supporting factors such as parental support, teacher support, and a positive environment. In contrast, inhibiting factors include the use of social media and students' lack of awareness regarding the importance of learning to read the Quran

Abstract

This research originated from issues related to student freedom within the educational organization journey. Firstly, the emergence of a learning freedom crisis, particularly in conventional institutions. Secondly, the teaching system in schools does not guarantee the regulation of student freedom in accordance with the goals of general education. This study aims to explore the methodology of Islamic live-in schools in shaping the independence of Khairul Ummah students in Bantaeng Regency, as well as identifying variables that support or hinder student independence. The research involved subjective examinations at the Islamic Life Experience School Khairul Ummah, Bantaeng Regency. The information collection methods used included perception techniques, meetings, and documentation. Examination procedures included information collection, reduction, display, and inference. The results of the study showed that Islamic boarding schools implement several strategies to foster student independence, including setting examples, recommendations, and mentoring. These strategies result in independence such as initiative, confidence, and responsibility. Supporting factors for independence include system support, cooperation among students, mentors, teachers, administrators, and parents, as well as parental trust and support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include communication with parents, the disconnect between the efforts of boarding schools and parents, and diverse student backgrounds. The conclusion of this research is that the methodology used by the Islamic Life Experience School Khairul Ummah, Bantaeng Regency, in fostering student independence is by providing examples, recommendations, and mentoring

Abstract

Spiritual intelligence plays a crucial role in human life. To enhance spiritual intelligence, the role of parents is pivotal as they are the first ones recognized by their children. Parents serve as the primary institution in shaping a child's character. This research aims to: 1) describe the spiritual intelligence of children in Dusun Talinga, 2) understand the role of parents in enhancing the spiritual intelligence of children in Dusun Talinga, Rante Mario Village, 3) analyze the factors that hinder and support the role of parents in improving the spiritual intelligence of children in Dusun Talinga. This research adopts a qualitative approach with an interpretative methodology, using case studies as the research method. The primary data source is parents in Dusun Talinga, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data validity testing through triangulation and member checks. The results of the study indicate that: 1) the depiction of children's spiritual intelligence in Dusun Talinga is still imperfect due to parents' lack of awareness of their children's religious upbringing and their incomplete responsibility towards it, 2) the role of parents in enhancing children's spiritual intelligence in Dusun Talinga is evident in their guidance of children's morality, 3) inhibiting and supporting factors include children's ease of learning when taught, parents' knowledge, parents' busy schedules, limited knowledge, and difficulties in controlling children when playing outside the home.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of Islamic educational values within the philosophy of "Nggahi Rawi Pahu" among students at SMAN 2 Woja, Woja District, Dompu Regency, and to examine the shift in Islamic educational values within this philosophy among the students of SMAN 2 Woja. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a narrative method, conducted at SMAN 2 Woja, Woja District, Dompu Regency. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, with students and Islamic Education teachers as the respondents. The findings reveal that the implementation of Islamic educational values within the philosophy of "Ngahi Rawi Pahu" is evident in the efforts of teachers to uphold and preserve Islamic values throughout the learning process, through advising the students. However, there is a shift in the philosophy of "Nggahi Rawi Pahu", where some students demonstrate a lack of discipline and ethics. Despite the teachers' efforts to provide advice, motivation, and guidance to the students, only a small portion of them adhere to it, while others do not align with the guidance provided. The implications of this study underscore the importance of paying closer attention to maintaining and preserving Islamic educational values within the context of the "Ngahi Rawi Pahu" philosophy to effectively implement them among students at SMAN 2 Woja, Dompu Regency.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tafsir Al-Qur'an dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di perguruan tinggi menghadapi tantangan signifikan di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media interaktif dalam pembelajaran tafsir untuk meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa PAI. Melalui studi literatur sistematis, penelitian ini mengkaji publikasi ilmiah terkini (2018-2023) dari berbagai database akademik seperti Scopus, Web of Science, dan Google Scholar. Kriteria inklusi meliputi studi empiris tentang penggunaan media interaktif dalam pembelajaran tafsir di tingkat perguruan tinggi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif, seperti aplikasi mobile, platform e-learning, dan teknologi augmented reality, secara signifikan meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas meliputi desain instruksional, kualitas konten, dan tingkat interaktivitas. Namun, integrasi media interaktif dengan metode tradisional masih menjadi tantangan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kesenjangan dalam literatur, termasuk kurangnya studi longitudinal dan evaluasi komprehensif berbagai jenis media interaktif. Kontribusi utama penelitian ini adalah sintesis temuan terkini dan identifikasi area potensial untuk penelitian masa depan. Implikasi praktis meliputi rekomendasi untuk pengembangan kurikulum PAI berbasis teknologi dan strategi implementasi media interaktif dalam pembelajaran tafsir. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media interaktif memiliki potensi besar untuk merevitalisasi pembelajaran tafsir, namun memerlukan pendekatan yang hati-hati dan kontekstual dalam implementasinya

Abstract

Era digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tantangan dan peluang dalam penguatan materi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di era digital. Menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka, studi ini menganalisis literatur terkini dari berbagai sumber akademik dan profesional. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi empat tema utama: (1) Transformasi Konten dan Penyajian Materi PAI, (2) Integrasi Teknologi dalam Pembelajaran PAI, (3) Pengembangan Kompetensi Digital Guru PAI, dan (4) Tantangan dan Strategi Mitigasi Risiko. Temuan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan untuk merekonstruksi materi PAI agar lebih relevan dengan konteks digital, sambil mempertahankan nilai-nilai fundamental Islam. Integrasi teknologi seperti aplikasi mobile dan realitas virtual menunjukkan potensi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Namun, isu-isu seperti trivialisasi ibadah dan penyebaran informasi yang menyesatkan memerlukan perhatian khusus. Pengembangan kompetensi digital guru PAI dan implementasi sistem verifikasi konten digital diidentifikasi sebagai strategi kunci. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan materi PAI di era digital memerlukan pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan transformasi konten, inovasi pedagogis, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan manajemen risiko yang cermat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher professionalism and professionality as professional educators. The problem examined is the competencies that professional teachers must possess according to the mandate of the law. The method used is a literature study by examining various sources related to teacher professionalism. The results show that professional teachers must master four main competencies, namely pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies. Teacher professionalism is determined by the quality of attitudes towards the profession and the level of knowledge and expertise possessed. Teacher competence is a combination of knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes reflected in habits of thinking and acting. It can be concluded that increasing teacher professionalism requires comprehensive mastery of competencies and development of positive attitudes towards the teaching profession. Efforts to improve teacher competence and qualifications need to be carried out continuously to realize quality education.
