Abstract

The study critically examines the Gospel of John as a theological text integrating the incarnate Logos and sacramental symbolism. Using a qualitative, library-based approach with historical-critical and hermeneutical analysis, it shows that John’s Gospel not only narrates Jesus’ life but constructs a symbolic, existential, and transformative theological reflection. The Logos shifts from a metaphysical principle to a personal reality in history through the incarnation, enabling a concrete encounter between God and humanity. Within this framework, symbols such as water and bread function as media of revelation guiding individuals toward a living, relational faith experience. Furthermore, sacramental symbolism in the Gospel of John is ontologically grounded in the incarnation of the Logos. Faith is thus understood not merely as intellectual assent but as participation in divine life that transforms human existence. The integration of Christological and sacramental dimensions indicates that faith is holistic, encompassing spiritual, material, and relational aspects. Thus, the Gospel of John presents a theological vision of faith as a concrete and dynamic existential encounter, relevant for contemporary theological reflection.

Abstract

This study examines students’ interest in participating in the Al-Kautsar Tahfidz Dormitory Program at MAN 1 Baubau and identifies the factors influencing their participation. The study also seeks to provide a deeper understanding of how both internal and external conditions shape students’ willingness to engage in the program. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with dormitory supervisors, participating students, and non-participating students. Additional supporting information was also gathered through informal discussions and observation in the dormitory environment to strengthen the data validity. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing in an iterative process to ensure accurate interpretation. The findings indicate that students’ interest is shaped by internal factors, such as religious motivation, the desire to memorize the Qur’an, and self-improvement, as well as external factors, including parental support, peer influence, program socialization, and the religious dormitory environment. Conversely, low interest is associated with limited family support, low self-confidence in Qur’anic literacy, competing activities outside school, and perceptions of a demanding dormitory schedule. Overall, the program contributes positively to students’ religious character, discipline, and Qur’anic memorization skills, although variations in student interest remain evident depending on their personal and environmental conditions.

Abstract

Abstract.. The development of modernization in corn farming in Kalibareng Village, Patean District, Kendal Regency has the potential to cause the loss of traditional terms used by the farming community. This study aims to describe and analyze the lexicon of corn farming in Kalibareng Village, Patean District, Kendal Regency, and to reveal the lexical and contextual meaning contained therein. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with field research and semantic studies as the main approach. Data were obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of corn farmers in Kalibareng Village. The results show that there are 44 lexicons divided into three categories, namely cultivation processes, agricultural tools, and agricultural materials. The lexical meaning in the lexicon refers to the basic meaning according to its referent, while the contextual meaning is influenced by the situation of use in agricultural activities. The contextual meanings found include process context, time context, and function context. This study shows that the corn farming lexicon not only functions as a communication tool, but also represents local knowledge, culture, and farming experiences of the Kalibareng Village community that have been passed down from generation to generation.

Abstract

The current research examines the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on Indonesian language outcomes among sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 106805 Manunggal. Operating within a quantitative framework, this quasi-experimental research utilized a non-equivalent control group design. The sample comprised 50 students, classified into a control group (23 students) and an experimental group (27 students). Data collection involved observations, documentation, alongside pretest and posttest scores. The 10-item essayThe instrument achieved a high level of reliability, with Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients of 0.700 on the pretest and 0.807 on the posttest. Diagnostic tests confirmed the data were normal and homogeneous. The experimental group achieved a substantial learning improvement of 42.04, significantly outperforming the control group's gain of 17.39. The independent sample t-test yielded a critical significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming that the STAD model exerts a significant and positive influence on student’s indonesian language achievement.

Abstract

This research has a purpose so that we can know the organization of Muhammadiyah can exist in facing the challenges of the current era, there are many factors or supporting elements in the Muhammadiyah organization so that this organization is able to exist to face the challenges of the current era, starting from the beliefs of the Muhammadiyah organization, the values of Muhammadiyah, the culture of the Muhammadiyah organization, and the leadership management system in the Muhammadiyah organization, by using a research approach Systematic Literature Review (SLR) or literature research, the researcher collected literature about how Muhammadiyah can exist in facing the challenges of the current times, the researcher found that there are many factors or elements in the Muhammadiyah organization that show that Muhammadiyah is able to exist in facing the challenges of the times, starting from a strong belief in the teachings of Islam that adheres to the Qur'an and As-Sunnah Al-maqbulah and enshrined in the Muhammadiyah Principles of Belief and Ideals (MKCH), the values contained in the Islamic Life Guidelines for Muhammadiyah Citizens (PHIWM), a neatly structured and disciplined organizational culture, and the management system of Muhammadiyah's leadership which has elements of Ulama', Intellectual, Academic, Legal, and Rational are able to present new cadres who will be able to carry the wheels of the Muhammadiyah organization so that they can continue to exist in facing the challenges of the times.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hubungan antara gerakan meroda dan kayang pada atlet senam di Rizfa Gimnastik Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet senam yang aktif di Rizfa Gimnastik Kota Jambi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran kemampuan fisik serta keterampilan gerakan meroda dan kayang. Alat analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson product-moment. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dan pengaruh positif antara penguasaan gerakan kayang terhadap kemampuan meroda pada atlet. Atlet yang memiliki kelentukan kayang yang baik cenderung mampu melakukan gerakan meroda dengan teknik yang lebih stabil dan sempurna. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya bagi pelatih senam untuk memperkuat latihan dasar kelenturan tubuh melalui gerakan kayang sebagai modalitas utama sebelum meningkatkan kompleksitas gerakan senam lantai seperti meroda.

Abstract

This study entitled “The Role of Facilitators in Increasing the Faith of the People through Catechesis Activities at KBG Sta. Elisabeth Homa” aims to describe the implementation of catechetical activities, examine the role of facilitators, and identify the impact of these activities on the faith development of the community. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews and documentation involving facilitators, KBG administrators, and community members participating in catechetical activities. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while source triangulation and member checking were applied to ensure data validity. The findings reveal that catechetical activities are conducted through communal prayer, Scripture reading, material presentation, dialogue, faith sharing, and reflection. Facilitators serve as educators, motivators, faith companions, and facilitators of participation and dialogue. Their contextual and participatory approach helps community members understand Church teachings and apply them in daily life. The activities contribute positively to the development of faith, spirituality, ecclesial involvement, and social awareness among the participants. Therefore, the role of facilitators is essential in supporting the effectiveness of catechesis and strengthening the faith of the people in KBG Sta. Elisabeth Homa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Counselors in the mental and spiritual empowerment of inmates at the Sukadana Class IIB Detention Center. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of religious counselors, prison officers, and inmates. The results indicate that religious counselors play a strategic role as educators, motivators, counselors, and facilitators in religious development. The development program is implemented through religious study, prayer guidance, Quranic study, religious consultations, and activities commemorating Islamic holidays. These activities contribute to increasing religious awareness, inner peace, self-control, and optimism among inmates to improve their lives after release. Supporting factors include cooperation between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the detention center, while inhibiting factors include limited facilities and low motivation among some inmates. This study concludes that Islamic religious counselors play a crucial role in shaping the mental and spiritual well-being of inmates, thus supporting the success of the social rehabilitation process.

Abstract

Problems that occur in the MA Darul Ulum library in Ciracap district, Sukabumi regency include library staff who have not met educational qualifications, and inadequate infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the profile of the MA Darul Ulum library based on work planning, organizing, mobilizing, supervising, filling positions, empowerment, motivation, and facilities in the MA Darul Ulum library. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques include participant observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study was carried out in three ways, namely data uncitation, data categorization, and data interpretation. Data validity testing was carried out by: 1) expanding participation; 2) persistence; 3) Triangulation; 4) peer review; adequacy of reference materials; 6) member checking; 7) audit for dependency criteria; and 8) audit for certainty criteria. The results of this study indicate that, several management function activities are based on eight elements in the theory of library management functions, librarian work planning includes monthly, short-term, and long-term. The organization is well-organized and structured. Mobilization includes service initiatives. Supervision includes circulation, serialization, and system supervision. Positions are filled through internal and external placements. Librarian empowerment is carried out through seminars and training. The head of the library motivates librarians to provide the best possible service. Facilities at the MA Darul Ulum library are not yet optimally functioning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education values contained in the utterances of Ferry Irwandi and Bagus Muljadi in the Malaka Project podcast and their relevance to fostering students’ critical listening skills in the digital era. The development of digital media has made podcasts one of the communication and learning media closely related to the lives of young generations. Through podcasts, students not only obtain information but also learn to understand, evaluate, and critically analyze the content delivered by speakers. Therefore, the analysis of character education values in digital media is important to support contextual learning that aligns with current developments. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive content analysis method. The data source consisted of utterances from the Malaka Project podcast episode featuring Ferry Irwandi and Bagus Muljadi, accessed through the YouTube platform. Data collection techniques were carried out through listening, note-taking, and transcription methods. The data were analyzed using pragmatic speech act theory and the concept of character education to identify character values contained in the speakers’ utterances. The stages of data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed several dominant character education values in the speakers’ utterances, namely critical thinking, honesty, responsibility, curiosity, and social awareness. The value of critical thinking was reflected in utterances encouraging listeners to verify information and not easily believe news without clear evidence. The value of honesty appeared in the delivery of opinions supported by logical arguments and data. In addition, the utterances in the podcast demonstrated the importance of intellectual responsibility and awareness in using digital media wisely. The findings indicate that podcasts can be utilized as learning media that support character building while also improving students’ critical listening skills in the digital era Keywords: character education, podcast, critical listening skills
