Abstract

This research was essentially conducted to understand the Guidance and Counseling Service program in vocational high schools (SMK). It further discusses the importance of the Guidance and Counseling Service program in SMK, the depiction of the Guidance and Counseling Service program in schools, and alternative models of the Guidance and Counseling Service program in SMK. This research is a literature review study sourced from various writings such as books and research articles. The obtained sources were then analyzed to see their relevance to the research objectives. It was found that the Guidance and Counseling Program is essential, especially in SMK. The depiction of the Guidance and Counseling Service program indicates that the Guidance and Counseling Program should also be based on several other analyses besides the students' needs. Furthermore, there are several alternative models in the Guidance and Counseling Service program that can be further researched regarding the suitability and accuracy of the planning model with the conditions in schools.

Abstract

Schools are educational institutions where students study and provide services that have a good management system. It is impossible for a guidance and counseling service program to be implemented well if it is not supported by school personnel, the following are school personnel related to guidance and counseling service activities including: principal, deputy principal, guidance teacher coordinator (counselor), guidance teacher and counseling, administrative staff, subject teachers and homeroom teachers. Relationships with the duties of each school personnel are certainly very helpful in the success of guidance and counseling programs in schools. So here it is very necessary for organizational management and administration of guidance and counseling in schools to create good performance among school personnel in supporting the success of the guidance and counseling program in schools. Organization and administration of guidance and counseling as an effort to manage and mobilize various personnel and materials in order to achieve the objectives of guidance and counseling. So that the work of guidance and counseling services runs smoothly, efficiently and effective

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms and ways of dealing with student delinquency along with the use of social capital to support the way of dealing with student delinquency at MAN 1 GRESIK. The method used is a qualitative method. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the dominant forms of delinquency include being late for school or class, not entering school without explanation, not wearing a uniform according to school regulations. Dealing with delinquency is carried out in preventive and repressive ways. Social capital is used to develop teachers' commitment to presenting a good personality to students, collaborating with students in maintaining a conducive learning atmosphere, providing deep understanding for students who violate, developing students' self-confidence, responsibility and honesty.

Abstract

Tourism is a global industry sector that has great potential to be developed as a source of income. One of the tourism that is widely spread in Indonesia, especially the island of Java, is religious tourism. From various regions it seems to flock to visit this tourism. The visit from the tourists is able to contribute to the economy of the area. Therefore, this needs special attention. In determining tourism, tourists experience a psychological process from the period of a person's travel to the psychological condition during the activity until after the tourism activity is completed. Consumer psychological studies can explain the psychological processes experienced by tourists through internal, external and situational factors. These three factors affect marketing strategies, namely market segmentation, product, positioning and marketing mix. This study will explain how consumer psychology in tourism works.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Qur'anic teachings in Islamic counseling as a method to address deviant behavior in children at schools. Qur'anic values such as honesty, patience, and self-control, supported by verses from the Qur'an, are explained through the commentaries from Fathul Karim Mukhtashar Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Adzhim by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Hikmat bin Basyir bin Yasin and Tafsir as-Sa'di by Sheikh Abdurrahman bin Nasir as-Sa'di. The research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach, analyzing related literature on the Qur'an, tafsir (exegesis), and Islamic counseling. The findings of this research indicate that Qur'anic values, examined through tafsir, can serve as a guide to improve deviant behaviors, such as indiscipline and aggressiveness. A spiritual approach that emphasizes closeness to Allah SWT helps children control their emotions and enhances their moral awareness. The recommendation of this research is the importance of integrating Qur'anic values into Islamic counseling at schools, especially in Indonesia, to shape morally strong children and prevent future moral crises. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi ajaran Al-Qur'an dalam konseling Islami sebagai metode untuk menangani perilaku menyimpang pada anak-anak di sekolah. Nilai-nilai Qur'ani seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, dan pengendalian diri, yang didukung oleh dalil ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an, diuraikan dengan tafsir dari Fathul Karim Mukhtashar Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Adzhim karya Syaikh Prof. Dr. Hikmat bin Basyir bin Yasin serta Tafsir as-Sa'di karya Syaikh Abdurrahman bin Nashir as-Sa'di. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, yang menganalisis literatur terkait Al-Qur'an, tafsir, dan konseling Islami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Qur'ani yang dikaji melalui tafsir dapat menjadi pedoman untuk memperbaiki perilaku menyimpang, seperti ketidakdisiplinan dan agresivitas. Pendekatan spiritual yang menekankan kedekatan dengan Allah SWT mampu membantu anak-anak mengendalikan emosi dan meningkatkan kesadaran moral mereka. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Qur'ani dalam konseling Islami di sekolah-sekolah, khususnya di Indonesia, guna membentuk karakter anak yang bermoral dan mencegah krisis moral di masa depan.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to identify the students’ learning styles including visual, auditory or kinaesthetic in English teaching and learning process. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at Institute of Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School which the participants of this research were the first semester students of islamic counseling and guidance department program in the academic year of 2023 / 2024. The number of the subjects were 35. The data collection was done by giving a questionnaire. The questionnaire was adapted from the VAK learning styles test created by Chislett and Chapman (2005) which consists of 30 questions determining students’ learning style.  The research findings indicated that there are 16 (45,71%) students categorized as visual learners, 12 (34,28%) students categorized as auditory learners, and 7 (20%) students categorized as kinaesthetic learners.  Visual learners prefer to learn by seeing and watching demonstration. Auditory learners prefer to learn by hearing. And the kinaesthetic learners prefer learn by doing

Abstract

The phenomenon of truant behavior in students is a real phenomenon experienced by schools. Responding to this requires handling from the school through the counseling teacher to follow up on student truant behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach as case study in MTs. Al-Ihsan Sidoarjo. The informants of this study were school principals and counseling guidance teachers, by using interviews, observation and documentation as data collection method which were then analyzed qualitative-descriptively. The findings showed that the handling of truant behavior that occurred in MTs. Al-Ihsan Sidoarjo was responded by counseling teacher in preventive and curative approaches. For the preventive approach, the counseling teacher provides advice and motivation to all students not to commit truant behavior. Apart from that, parenting sessions were also held as an educational effort and to establish communication with parents and to strengthen social control efforts by involving the role of the surrounding. In the curative approach, the counseling teacher conducts individual counseling sessions to students who have problems intensively to be able to explore reasons and determine solutions centered on the students' own awareness. In addition, the counseling teacher also conducts home visits to the house as a form of communication and checks the condition of students in the home environment. The last treatment taken by the school if truancy behavior is still being carried out is by enforcing discipline through imposing sanctions on students.

Abstract

The aim of this research describes a conceptual effort to improve clients' holistic EcoWellness through adventure-based counseling that is integrated with nature and adventure. Integrating Adventure-based Counseling activities with the concept of EcoWellness, namely appreciation, respect, admiration, and connectedness to nature, has been proposed as an effective framework for enriching the concept of counseling theory. The research method uses a literature review to review logically based on a comprehensive understanding of the conceptual framework of Adventure-based Counseling to improve EcoWellness. Research goes through six stages, namely (1) selecting and determining the topic; (2) developing tools for argumentation and conclusions from various concepts; (3) literature search to find sources relevant to the specified topic with the help of Mendeley Reference Manager to catalog and document information; (4) a literature survey was conducted to collect, organize, and analyze data that had been collected and documented in Mendeley Reference Manager; (5) criticizing the literature, producing responses to the research topic, a conceptual framework as a conclusion to form research objectives; and (6) writing a review, the review produces a document. To explore this concept, this research investigates the role of nature in strengthening humans' connection to the environment, as well as the positive impact of adventure in enhancing EcoWellness. The findings of this literature review highlight the importance of integrating nature and adventure in counseling to achieve clients' holistic balance. The theoretical implications of this conceptualization are discussed in the context of improving the quality of counseling services and a deeper understanding of humans' relationship with nature

Abstract

This article aims to discuss family counseling from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an Surah At-Tahrim Verse 6, using the literature study research method. The findings of this research focus on the interpretation of Surah At-Tahrim verse 6, studied from the perspective of the Tafsir Al Misbah, Tafsir Ibnu Katsir and Tafsir of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, namely: family counseling, when viewed from the perspective of Surah At-Tahrim verse 6, has a significant role. crucial in forming a harmonious family, rooted in religious values, and preparing family members to follow God's commands. Through family counseling, family members can deepen their understanding of their duties and responsibilities in implementing religious teachings, while strengthening emotional and social ties between them.

Abstract

Evaluasi program dalam layanan bimbingan konseling biasanya dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan konseling. Proses evaluasi program dilakukan untuk melihat program yang perlu dikembangkan dan perbaikan program bimbingan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas evaluasi program layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMA N 2 Takengon. Motode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data primer diperoleh dari guru Bimbingan Konseling di sekolah tersebut dan data sekunder dari hasil telaah, buku, referensi atau dokumentasi . Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa evaluasi program bimbingan konseling dilakukan dua kali dalam setahun, dengan fokus pada capaian melalui penilaian Laiseg, Laijapen, Laijapang dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam evaluasi program BK yaitu keterbatasan waktu serta upaya guru BK dalam mengatasi kendala dalam proses evaluasi program BK. Kesimpulan bahwa evaluasi program bimbingan konseling memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang pencapaian program bimbingan konseling serta area yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam meningkatkan program bimbingan untuk masa depan yang akan datang untuk perkembangan peserta didik
