Abstract

This article or article aims to develop aspects of cognitive development by implementing the APE maze book that researchers deliberately created for students at Kindergarten Santo Thomas 2 as a strategy to stimulate children's cognitive development. This problem is focused on looking at children's cognitive development in order to approach cognitive problems in Early Childhood with reference to Piaget's theory. The data collected through observation and analyzed qualitatively. The research sample was in Kindergarten B Santo Thomas with two classes and research subjects consisting of 26 students. This study concluded that it is important to develop cognitive aspects of children from an early age in order to achieve maximum achievement standards.

Abstract

Supervision is coaching given to all school staff so that they can improve their abilities to develop better teaching and learning situations. The person who supervises is called a supervisor. Supervision can be interpreted as coaching. While the target of this coaching can be for school principals, teachers, administrative staff. However, what is the target of supervision also means teacher development. The purpose of educational supervision is to develop a better teaching and learning situation through coaching and improving the teaching profession. And also the functions and objectives of educational supervision include the direction of education, the goal as the end point, the goal as the starting point for achieving other goals. In this case, the goals of education with each other are an inseparable unit. The importance of developing teacher resources with educational supervision, namely there are two metaphors to describe the importance of developing teacher resources. First, the teacher's position is likened to a water source. The water source must continue to increase, so that the river can flow water continuously. If not, then the water source will dry up. Thus if a teacher never reads new information, does not add knowledge about what is being taught, then he is unlikely to give knowledge and knowledge in a way that is more refreshing to students. Second, the position of teacher is likened to a fruit tree. The tree will not bear much fruit if the roots of the mother tree do not absorb nutrients that are useful for the growth of the tree.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was and to find out how much influence the application of the Quizwhizzer Application had on Improving Civic Education Learning Outcomes on Cultural Diversity Materials in Indonesia Class V. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Lajuk. The type of research used in this study was collaborative classroom action research (PTK) between students, 21 grade 5 students, tutors and field supervisors. by using data collection techniques in this study using observation or observation techniques, tests and documentation, as well as questionnaires.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the learning outcomes of students in science subjects with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Learning Model. The type of research used is classroom action research. With this classroom action research, the researcher gave action to the subjects studied, namely fifth grade students and the teacher acted as an observer. This research is a classroom action research with three cycles. The subjects of this study were students in class V-C at SDN Manukan Kulon II / 499 Surabaya, totaling 37 students with details of 17 male students and 20 female students. The use of data collection techniques consists of observation techniques, learning achievement tests, and field notes when learning activities take place. There was an increase from cycle I to cycle II and cycle III in the science learning outcomes of students with the percentage results being that in the cycle there were 9 students (24%) who had completed while 28 students (76%) did not complete. Then cycle II was carried out with the application The Numbered Heads Together Learning Model has 16 students (43%) while 21 people (57%) are incomplete so it is not in accordance with the KKM value that has been set by the school, which is 75. Because the value obtained has not reached the KKM determined by the school so that it is continued to cycle III using the same model. In cycle III there were 34 students (92%) who completed it, so it was concluded that the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model could improve learning outcomes in science subjects in the Water Cycle and Natural Events class V-C SDN Manukan Kulon II / 499 Surabaya Academic Year 2022 /2023.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is still a problem for students. This can be seen from the fact that the class average score for mathematics is lower than the class average score for other fields of study. Out of the six existing children, only two, or 33.33%, had achieved learning mastery, while four, or 66.67%, had not mastered learning mathematics, especially addition and subtraction. The method used in this study uses quantitative research methods by conducting tests of student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were students of class I, UPT SDN 107 Gresik, which consisted of six children. The type of research used is classroom action research. Classroom action research is action research conducted in the classroom that concerns problems faced by teachers, improves the quality of processes (practices) and learning outcomes, and tries new things in the field of learning in order to improve the quality of processes and learning outcomes. The results of this study show that the use of math card media can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of adding and subtracting numbers in class I, UPT SDN 107 Gresik students. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Mathca card media and the learning outcomes obtained by students, with a completeness of 5 out of 6 students, or 83.33%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using audio-visual media in the Indonesian language subject listening to fairy tales in class IV SD Negeri Suko II Sidoarjo. This research is a two-cycle action research consisting of the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, field notes and tests, while the data analysis techniques were qualitative and quantitative. Qualitatively the data from observations and field notes were analyzed, while quantitatively the data were analyzed from the results of tests conducted at the end of each cycle. Data wettability test with triangulation. The results of data analysis show: 1) in the process of using audiovisual media, the competence of listening to fairy tales increases as reflected in the students' ability to recognize the contents of fairy tales such as themes, characterizations, plots, scenarios and assignments, and 2) results. This increase is reflected in the perfection in student learning, namely the average score achieved in Cycle I was only 61.75, increasing to 76.25. These results conclude that audiovisual media has a positive effect on increasing listening to stories in Class IV SD Negeri Suko II Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times certainly more varied presentation of information. One of them is the presentation in the form of short form content. Short form content itself can be in the form of short blog posts, news articles, infographics, social media content, videos and so on. Short form content often influences thinking because it is presented briefly so it tends to make readers, especially students, explore further the information conveyed. Even though the information conveyed in the short form content has not been fully completed, so it often creates misunderstandings. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of Short Form Content on Students' Critical Thinking Ability. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The type of quantitative research used is correlation with normality test data analysis and a simple linearity test that is attempted as a prerequisite for analysis and a t test to test the hypothesis. Respondents in this study were 65 class VII students of SMPN 11 Tegal who were taken using the Yamane formula. The results of this study prove that there is an influence between short form content on critical thinking skills based on the t test obtained by arithmetic results of .1912 and a significance number of 0.034. From these results it is known that 1.912> 1.670 or tcount>ttable and 0.034> 0.05 or a significance number> 0.05.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 mengubah sumber daya manusia yang mampu menghadapi tantangan dimasa depan. Pemerintah membuat kebijakan dengan merumuskan empat jenis kompetensi guru sebagai pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh data tentang implementsi 7 aspek kompetensi pedagogik guru, mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi guru terkait 7 aspek implementasi kompetensi pedagogik, dan mengetahui upaya mengatasi kendala dalam 7 aspek implementasi kompetensi pedagogik guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk membuktikan kembali teori dan praktek yang dilakukan guru di sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan pengkajian dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Menguasai karakteristik peserta didik, Menguasai teori belajar dan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran, Kegiatan pembelajaran yang mendidik, Pengembangan potensi peserta didik, Komunikasi dengan peserta didik, Penilaian dan evaluasi sudah terpenuhi secara menyeluruh meskipun terdapat kendala, hal tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil wawancara tidak langsung kepada siswa mengenai kompetensi guru IPS menunjukan hasil yang baik.

Abstract

The boarding-based school concept is a continuation of the model school concept, aimed at gathering the strengths or advantages of adjacent schools or in an integrated educational complex, namely classroom education, boarding education and environmental education. Boarding School Program learning curriculum design, using an integrated curriculum curriculum) includes; a) morning lessons, b) afternoon lessons/tutorials, c) coaching in the dormitory. The Boarding School Program provides afternoon learning hours (tutorials) which are additional lessons in the form of lesson reviews, specifically exact subjects and subjects included in the National Examination, such as Mathematics, Science, Physics, and certain scheduled lessons from school. This aims to improve the quality of students in the fields of science and language so that later they are able to compete at State Universities (PTN), while at night there is guidance in the dormitory, namely learning with yellow books. 4) in carrying out the program, schools are required to have learning infrastructure and dormitories that are complete as supports, teachers who are professional and competent in their fields, and a supportive environment.

Abstract

This research started with the problem of low learning outcomes of class 4 students at SD Negeri Sukowati, in Indonesian language subjects, especially in the material of understanding new words in reading texts. In this study there were 22 students, and all students were involved in this research. In Indonesian language subjects, especially in the material for understanding new words in reading texts, students who obtained KKTP scores below a minimum score of 68 were only 8 participants out of 22 students with a percentage obtained as many as 36% of students. This research is a collaborative classroom action research (collaborative PTK between students, tutor teachers and field supervisors). This research was conducted in two cycles. As a solution to these problems, researchers used the application of KBBI Online learning media. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of KBBI Online learning media provides a positive response to the learning process and can increase the activity of teachers and students in the learning process, and can also improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects, especially material for understanding new words. on reading text. Student learning outcomes have increased from pre-cycle to cycle I and cycle II. The learning outcomes before the action that reached the KKTP score above the value of 68 were only 8 students with a percentage of 36%. Then in cycle I students who achieved KKTP scores above 68 were 17 students with a percentage of 79%. As well as in cycle II students who achieved KKTP scores above 68 were 20 students with a percentage of 91%.
