Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of the Indonesian government’s coal export restrictions on the national economy, particularly focusing on the effects on trade, industry, and energy supply. The export restrictions, which were implemented to prioritize domestic energy needs, aim to ensure sufficient coal supply for domestic power plants and support energy security. Data shows that despite Indonesia being one of the world's largest coal exporters, the restrictions have resulted in a significant decrease in export revenues, which could potentially reach up to USD 3 billion per month. Furthermore, the policy creates challenges for coal producers due to disruptions in cash flow and rising operational costs, such as demurrage charges. However, the restrictions also serve as a strategic move to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and encourage the development of the domestic coal processing industry. This research highlights the balance between maintaining economic growth through international trade and ensuring national energy sustainability. By managing these policies effectively, Indonesia can strengthen its position in the global coal market while supporting long-term energy resilience and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Social media is an online platform designed to support social interaction among its users. By utilizing web-based technology, social media transforms traditional communication into a more dynamic interactive dialogue. Users not only act as recipients of information, but also as content producers, allowing them to share thoughts, experiences, and ideas in real-time. Digital marketing is the right solution for MSMEs to expand their marketing networks both domestically and internationally. However, the use of digital marketing by MSMEs is still very low.

Abstract

This journal focuses on the interaction between economic conditions and social structures that influence the well-being of society, as well as the relationship between economic and social aspects and their impacts on communities. Socioeconomic components such as education, health, and employment are interconnected and affect the quality of life. The study identifies various issues that arise, including poverty, unemployment, and social inequality, all of which stem from injustices in the distribution of economic resources. The effects of these injustices can be observed in the rising unemployment rates and declining quality of life, which in turn affect the social and economic stability of communities. Additionally, economic barriers such as policy uncertainty, lack of infrastructure, and limited access to capital hinder economic growth. Many communities remain trapped in a cycle of poverty due to inadequate access to training and education. To promote economic growth and social welfare, the government must provide support through inclusive economic policies, social assistance programs, skills training, and investments in infrastructure. Effective solutions are expected to be found by understanding the relationship between economic and social aspects and the existing barriers.

Abstract

Anti-corruption education within the police is a strategic step in forming members of the National Police who have integrity and are free from corrupt behavior. This research aims to explore the implementation of anti-corruption education in police agencies, as well as the factors that influence its effectiveness. In this context, anti-corruption education is expected to be an important tool in instilling the values of integrity among members of the National Police. Through an interview method with Mr. Yudha from Ditlantas, this research found that effective anti-corruption education involves an experience-based approach and realistic training, which allows Polri members to understand the impact of acts of corruption through simulations and real case studies. This approach is in line with Kohlberg's theory of moral development, which emphasizes the importance of active learning in the development of ethical understanding. Apart from that, the involvement of superiors and co-workers in supporting anti-corruption education has also proven to be significant, considering that the work environment has an important role in strengthening the values taught. Social environmental factors, culture and organizational structure in the police also contribute to the effectiveness of anti-corruption education. If corruption is considered accepted behavior in institutions, then education alone will not be enough to change members' behavior. This research recommends collaboration between National Police leadership, the work environment, and ongoing training programs to support anti-corruption education. With this holistic approach, it is hoped that anti-corruption education can be implemented in real terms, so that the National Police can produce members who have high integrity and reject all forms of corruption.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of human resource management (HRM) practices that facilitate innovation in the public sector in a developing country. Qualitative method was engaged whereby a semi-structured interview was conducted to get the responses of two groups of employees which are top management and executive in two types of public organizations which are awarded and non-awarded. The collected data was later analyzed thematically. The results show that there are differences and similarities among the public agencies in terms of their implementation of HRM practices that facilitate innovation. Apparently, the awarded public agencies do follow HRM practices that really facilitate innovation such as local training, provide more types of rewards to their employees and set a higher minimum level of innovation in their performance evaluation. This research confines only 10 public agencies in Gresik. Future studies might want to include a larger sample size to make the findings more extensive. It also would be interesting to know different approaches in HRM implemented in the private organizations as well as to examine their influences on performance and other organizational factors. Good and fair HRM practices such as training, reward and performance appraisal practices that focus on innovation facilitate and produce more innovative employees and organization innovation. Thus, public managers should implement them to a higher extent.

Abstract

This research analyzes fintech development in Indonesia through a multi-perspective bibliometric approach that includes technology, regulation, economy, and social impact. Using scientific publication data from several leading databases, the study identified key trends, dominant keywords, and collaboration networks between researchers. The results show that technologies such as blockchain, big data, and artificial intelligence are the main drivers of fintech transformation. At the same time, adaptive regulation is needed to support innovation while protecting consumers. In addition, fintech has contributed significantly to financial inclusion, especially for people whom traditional banking services have not reached. However, challenges such as low digital financial literacy and lack of public trust must be overcome through integrated education and policies. The study offers strategic recommendations to strengthen an inclusive and sustainable fintech ecosystem. It opens up opportunities for further research on the long-term impact and adoption of new technologies in the fintech ecosystem in Indonesia.
