Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Online Promotion and Online Customer Review on Purchase Decisions for Scarlett Whitening Products. This study is a quantitative study with a non-probability sampling technique. The sample used in this study was 100 residents of Makassar. Data collection was carried out using the library study method and survey using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, the results of the f test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the independent variables (Online promotion and Online customer review) simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable (purchase decision). While the t test obtained a significance value of the Online promotion variable of 0.005 <0.05, which means that the variable (X1) Online promotion partially has a positive and significant influence on the variable (Y) purchasing decision. And the Online customer review variable has a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the variable X2 (Online customer review) partially has a positive and significant influence on the variable (Y) purchasing decision.

Abstract

LAPPARAN, INA, 2024. The Influence of Experiential Marketing and Customer Satisfaction on Repurchase Intention (Case Study at Wirskopi 2.0 Makassar). Undergraduate Thesis. Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Makassar. Supervised by Hety Budiyanti and Muhammad Ilham Wardhana Haeruddin. This study aims to determine the impact of experiential marketing and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention at Wirskopi 2.0 Makassar. The population includes all visitors who have visited Wirskopi 2.0 Makassar at least three times within a month. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The research employs a quantitative approach, with multiple linear regression analysis and data processing using SPSS version 25. The hypothesis testing results indicate that experiential marketing and customer satisfaction have a partial and simultaneous effect on repurchase intention at Wirskopi 2.0 Makassar. The coefficient of determination shows that 26% of the variance in repurchase intention is explained by experiential marketing and customer satisfaction, while the remaining 76% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence gambir production and the income of gambir farmers in Bandar Baru village. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale, involving 95 respondents selected via purposive sampling. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that price (X1), labor productivity (X2), and production costs (X3) simultaneously and significantly affect the income of gambir farmers (Y) in Bandar Baru village, as evidenced by an F-value of 69.582, which is greater than the F-table value of 2.679. Labor productivity, when analyzed partially, does not significantly affect the income of gambir farmers, as indicated by a t-value of 1.219, which is less than the t-table value of 1.919, with a significance level below 0.05.Conversely, price has a partial significant effect on the income of gambir farmers, with a t-value of 2.463, exceeding the t-table value of 1.919, and a significance level below 0.05. Production costs also have a partial significant effect on the income of gambir farmers, evidenced by a t-value of 3.446, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.919, with a significance level below 0.05.The results from the coefficient of determination (R) test indicate that the Adjusted R Square value is 0.624, meaning that 62.4% of the income level (Y) can be explained by the variables of labor productivity (X1), price (X2), and production costs (X3), while the remaining 37.6% can be attributed to other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the work environment and work motivation on employee performance at PT Indah Cargo Medan. A conducive work environment and high work motivation are believed to have an important role in increasing employee productivity and work quality. The research method used was quantitative and regression analysis, with the type of data collection used being primary where the sample was taken as many as 84 respondents by circulating a questionnaire via Google Form using the Saturated Sampling technique. The results of this research show that the variables work environment, work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by Fcount>Ftable, namely 23.591>3.11. The work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. This result is proven by Tcount>Ttable 2.876>1.989. Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. This result is proven by Tcount>Ttable 2.876>1.989.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of Depok City Central Fire Department employees. Data was obtained from the results of questionnaires, literature studies, and observations related to the research objectives. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 29 application. The results of partial hypothesis testing (T Test) on the variables Work Discipline (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) show t count > t table, namely 0.973 < 0.681 and a significance value of 0.974 > 0.5 means that the Work Discipline variable has a significant and influential effect on the Employee Performance variable at the Depok City Fire Department. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing (F Test) on the two variables Work Discipline (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) show the calculated f value for the number of respondent samples of 40 people using the incidental sampling technique. The results show that the variables of motivation and work discipline do not have a significant effect, either partially or simultaneously, on the performance of Depok City Fire Department employees.

Abstract

The role of service quality in the service business is very important to improve customer satisfaction. Service management focuses on providing services that not only meet but also exceed customer expectations, creating a significant competitive advantage. Service quality serves as a bridge between the company and customers, establishing a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship. In the era of globalization and digitalization, customer interactions that take place mostly online demand companies to offer responsive and efficient digital experiences. Consistency in service delivery is a major challenge, as customers assess the quality of service based on their subjective experience. This study aims to review the literature related to the role of service quality in building customer satisfaction, the factors that affect it, and how companies can implement good service quality to improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Luxcrime is a local cosmetic brand produced by PT Luxury Cantika Indonesia. Its flagship product is Luxcrime Two Way Cake which is a combination of powder and foundation rolled into one. Luxcrime Two Way Cake has achieved the highest sales, surpassing international brands. One of the factors that influence purchasing decisions is the price which is below one hundred thousand rupiah. This study aims to determine the effect of price on purchasing decisions for Luxcrime products among students in Medan city. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data collection technique used in this study was the questionnaire method and used a Likert scale. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents, namely students in Medan city who knew Luxcrime Two Way Cake products, had bought Luxcrime Two Way Cake, and had watched Luxcrime Two Way Cake reviews on Tasya Farasya's social media accounts. The sampling method used was accidental sampling. Data analysis was carried out by simple regression and hypothesis testing using the SPSS 23 program. The results of simple regression calculations explain that the independent variable price has a positive effect on the dependent variable of purchasing decisions. Then based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is proven that H1 is accepted.

Abstract

Hotel business is one of the service businesses that sells various forms of accommodation, which include elements of comfort, service, and various facilities designed for customers who require lodging facilities for both work and leisure purposes. Currently, the competition in the hotel industry is becoming increasingly fierce, making it crucial for every company to recognize the importance of customer loyalty to ensure the sustainability of their business. The quality of service provided by the company is a crucial factor in creating satisfaction for each hotel customer. This study aims to investigate how the influence of service quality, both partially and simultaneously, affects hotel customer satisfaction. The population in this study consists of Hotel Grandhika Medan guests who incidentally stayed at Hotel Grandhika Setiabudi Medan, with a sample size of 80 people selected using accidental sampling. This study is a quantitative research with data collection techniques conducted through questionnaires and literature reviews. The data analysis method in this study includes validity tests, reliability tests, class assumption tests, simple linear regression, and hypothesis tests. From the results of this study, it was found that 62.8% of customer satisfaction is explained by the service quality variable, while 37.2% is influenced by other variables not studied in this research. The results of this study show that the service quality variable has a positive and significant partial effect on hotel customer satisfaction at Hotel Grandhika Setia Budi Medan, particularly influenced by the hotel's consistent polite behavior towards customers.

Abstract

The presence of internet technology has changed people's lifestyle patterns, including people's shopping patterns, where previously buying and selling transactions were carried out face to face, now transactions can be accessed just by using a smartphone. The aim of this research was to examine the influence of online customer reviews and prices on clothing purchasing decisions at Shopee e-commerce in Medan City. This research is motivated by the differences between online purchases and offline purchases in assessing a product. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research and uses incidental sampling as the sampling technique. Testing was carried out using SPSS 25. The results of data analysis showed that: 1) online customer reviews had a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase clothes at Shopee among the people of Medan City. This can be seen from the results of the partial hypothesis test (t-test), where tcount > ttable (9,045 > 1,986) and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. 2) price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions among the people of Medan City in purchasing clothes in Shopee. This can be seen from the results of the partial hypothesis test (t-test), where tcount > ttable (5.760 > 1.986) and significant, namely 0.000 < 0.05. 3) simultaneous regression testing (F test) on the online customer review and price variables. shows that it simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on clothing purchasing decisions among the people of Medan City when purchasing via e-commerce Shopee, this can be seen from the results of the simultaneous test (F Test), where Fcount > Ftable (318,682 > 3.094) and the significance is 0.000 < 0.05.4) the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.870 , so it can be concluded that 87% of the online customer review and price variables have an influence on clothing purchasing decisions at Shopee in Medan City, while the remaining 13% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The company's success in achieving its goals and success is supported by several factors, one of which is people. Competent and professional resources will improve the company's performance. Employee performance is the ability, skills, and work results shown by an employee in carrying out his duties and responsibilities at work. Employee performance can be influenced by several factors, including motivation and work discipline. Motivation is an impulse that can trigger a sense of enthusiasm and is also able to change individual behavior towards something better. Besides motivation, work discipline is also a factor that can improve employee performance. Work discipline is the attitude of an employee who respects, respects, obeys and obeys the regulations that apply in the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Telkom Indonesia Regional 1 Sumatra. Data was collected through a survey by distributing questionnaires to employees of PT Telkom Indonesia Regional 1 Sumatra. The total population is 89 people and all of them are sampled (saturated samples). The instruments in this study are valid and reliable and the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance Work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance In this study, it shows that work discipline has a more dominant effect than motivation on employee performance.
