Abstract

The research titled "Purchase Order Procedures at the General Affairs Department of PT Trakindo Utama Surabaya" discusses the purchase order procedures that assist the company’s operations, specifically in the procurement of goods and services within the general affairs department at PT Trakindo Utama Surabaya. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, by describing the results obtained from direct observation and involvement in the company's purchase order activities, along with interviews with experts in the field and supported by various information from literature studies. The research findings show that the purchase order procedures at PT Trakindo Utama Surabaya are structured, repetitive, and have been consistently implemented. These procedures enable efficient management of goods and services procurement, contributing to the smooth operations of the company as a whole. Consistent implementation of these procedures also indicates that PT Trakindo Utama Surabaya has established a stable and reliable procurement system to meet operational needs.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the efficiency of office layout in the Administration department at SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta, (2) identify obstacles that hinder the achievement of office space efficiency, and (3) provide recommendations for rearrangement to improve the efficiency and productivity of employee work in the Administration office of SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta. This research used descriptive qualitative method with direct observation approach, interviews with related parties, and documentation data collection. The research subjects consisted of the head of administration, administrative staff, and several users of office facilities at SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta. The results showed that: (1) the office layout in the Administration department is not fully efficient, with many documents piled up on the work table, less than optimal work flow, and furniture placement that does not support productivity; (2) the obstacles faced include the less strategic placement of file cabinets and filing cabinets, inadequate air ventilation and lighting, and table arrangements that do not support effective workflow; (3) To overcome these obstacles, it is necessary to rearrange office furniture to better support accessibility, add storage facilities to reduce the accumulation of documents on employee desks, and increase ventilation and lighting to create a more comfortable work environment and support employee work efficiency.

Abstract

This work program is carried out with the aim of improving the skills and abilities of students at SMP 3 Nagawutung through arts and culture training. The method used in this activity is the Demonstration Method with the aim of finding out the skills and abilities of SMP 3 Nagawutung students directly. Arts training activities and this culture produces several works of art in the form of (traditional/cultural dances, poetry, speeches, vocal exercises and is performed at the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The main targets in this activity are students of SMP 3 Nagawutung.

Abstract

Decision making is a series of alternative choices of actions that have certain risks in order to achieve organizational goals through the best decisions. Selecting the best alternative after evaluating its effectiveness in achieving the decision maker's goals. The decision-making process requires a systematic approach to problems through collecting data that is processed into information, as well as considering relevant factors before deciding. Emotional stability plays an important role in decision making by student organizations.

Abstract

This study examines efforts to prevent drug and alcohol abuse at SDI Lamalewar, Nagawutung, Lembata, NTT. This study was motivated by the increasing prevalence of drug abuse in the school-age group in Indonesia, which reached 2.6% (2.3 million people), as well as data from the Lembata Regency BNN which recorded 28 cases of drug abuse throughout 2022, with 15% involving children under the age of 15 years. In Nagawutung District itself, there was a 23% increase in cases of alcohol abuse with 12% of perpetrators under the age of 15 years.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of risk management in Islamic banks and conventional banks in Indonesia through a comparative approach. Risk management is an important aspect in the banking industry to mitigate credit, market and liquidity risks that affect financial stability and customer trust. Using qualitative methods based on literature study, this research analyzes related secondary data. The research results show that Islamic banks are more resilient to market risks due to derivative transactions, but face problems in management due to limited liquidity of liquid sharia instruments. In contrast, conventional banks have an advantage in managing liquidity risk with wider access to money market instruments. These findings are expected to provide input for regulators and practitioners in designing risk management strategies that are effective and appropriate to the operational characteristics of both types of banks. Analysis of the effectiveness of risk management in Islamic and conventional banks in Indonesia using a comparative approach. This qualitative research uses literature study with secondary data. The results show that Islamic banks are more resilient to market risk but face liquidity constraints, while conventional banks are stronger in liquidity risk management thanks to wider access to money market instruments. These findings are expected to help regulators and practitioners in developing effective risk management strategies according to the characteristics of each bank.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a more efficient marketing strategy for Swalayan Annisa, a minimarket that provides basic needs but faces challenges in maintaining service quality amidst increasingly fierce market competition. Using the SWOT analysis method, this research analyzes competitive dynamics to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by Swalayan Annisa. The analysis results show that the strength value of this minimarket is 1.92, weaknesses 0.99, opportunities 1.359, and threats 1.358. The overall score on the IFE Matrix was recorded at 2.92, while the EFE Matrix received a score of 2.71. Based on these results, this research suggests strategies to increase operational efficiency and diversify services as important steps in strengthening the market position of Annisa Supermarkets. The proposals given focus on increasing competitiveness and improving customer service to encourage more sustainable growth and maintain the existence of minimarkets in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to find out about the role of agents in the process of handling Bills of Lading for shipping liquid bulk cargo on tankers and the obstacles that occur in the process of handling Bills of Lading for shipping liquid bulk cargo on tankers by PT. Equinox Sentra Bahari Belawan Branch. The background underlying this paper is the Bill of Lading as an important document in the process of sending goods by sea transportation. The research used in writing this paper includes library research and field research which consists of interviews and observations carried out by the author based on the results of land practice at PT. Equinox Sentra Bahari Belawan Branch. Based on field observations, it was found that the agent's role in handling Bill of Lading documents by PT. Equinox Sentra Bahari Belawan Branch must be supported by other documents provided by the shipper and cargo carrier. PT. Equinox Sentra Bahari Belawan Branch will issue a Bill of Lading document after the ship departs or coincides with the ship's departure date and has been approved by the Shipper, Carrier and Consignee.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the Procedure for Managing Ship Operation Plans (RPK) using the SIMLALA System implemented by PT. Dian Bahari Perkasa Dumai. This research uses field research and library research methods. The RPK processing process through the SIMLALA system has been running smoothly, starting with a submission from the shipping company appointed by the ship owner to manage the RPK. The ship agent then attaches all the documents and requirements needed to submit the RPK via the SIMLALA system. After that, officers from the Harbormaster's Office and Port Authority checked the documents that had been uploaded to the system. If all documents have been checked, the Harbor Master's Office and Port Authority can issue a Ship Operation Plan (RPK) certificate through the SIMLALA System.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, supervision system, and employee commitment on the quality of office administration services at PDAM Kota Bekasi. Effective administration services are an important factor in improving customer satisfaction and corporate image, especially in the public sector such as PDAM which is responsible for providing clean water services. This study uses a qualitative approach to explore the opinions and experiences of employees and PDAM management related to these variables. The results of the study are expected to provide a deep understanding of how transformational leadership, effective supervision systems, and employee commitment can interact with each other in creating high-quality services. These findings are also expected to help PDAM management in designing strategies to improve office administration services and provide a basis for policy makers in public sector management. This study provides benefits for PDAM management, employees, service users, and public policy makers by offering practical and theoretical insights to improve service quality.
