Abstract

This research aims to analyze employee placement. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method, research that aims to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by research subjects, namely how employees are placed at the Karawang Regency Central Statistics Agency. The location of this research was carried out at the Karawang Regency Central Statistics Agency office with a population of 35 people and the sample size was 10 people. The results of research on employee placement analysis at the Karawang Regency Central Statistics Agency show that prospective employees who have passed the competency test will be placed in the appropriate positions required. Based on the results of interviews with several employees at the Central Statistics Agency, the placement of employees at the Karawang Regency Central Statistics Agency office has gone well and is in accordance with what is needed. The researchers have carried out the dimensions and indicators of employee placement, it can be concluded that the employees are placed in accordance with the abilities they have and the competencies they have achieved. Placement of employees who pay attention to suitability of knowledge and skills has been proven to have a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors influencing workload on employee performance at the Office of Population Control and Family Planning (DPPKB). The background of this research is based on the importance of optimal employee performance in achieving organizational goals, while an imbalanced workload can hinder productivity. This study uses a qualitative method with a survey involving DPPKB employees as respondents. The findings indicate that factors such as working hours, attendance, and reporting targets of accountability letters significantly affect the workload, which in turn impacts employee performance. A supportive work environment and managerial support also play an important role in reducing workload pressure and enhancing performance. Additionally, the ability and skills of employees in managing complex tasks contribute to work effectiveness. The implications of this research suggest that management needs to conduct regular evaluations of workload distribution, provide a conducive work environment, and enhance support and skill development for employees. Thus, it is expected to create an optimal workload balance, which ultimately can improve employee performance and achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

The Karawang Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a government agency that has a strategic role in providing accurate and reliable statistical data and information. To be able to carry out this function properly, BPS Karawang needs employees who have a high work commitment. However, based on preliminary data, there are indications that the work commitment of employees at BPS Karawang has not been optimal. This study aims to analyze the work commitment of employees at the Karawang Central Statistics Agency (BPS Karawang) and the factors that affect organizational performance. The results of the study show that affective and normative commitment have a significant effect on employee performance, while continuous commitment has no significant effect. Affective commitment refers to an employee's emotionality, identification, and engagement with the organization, which influences their behavior toward the tasks they receive. Normative commitment, on the other hand, relates to the employee's feelings towards the tasks assigned to the organization and the organization's values are the same as the employee's personal values. This study uses a qualitative method and involves interviews with 5 respondents, including a head of agency and 4 employees. Data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis and narrative analysis. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for BPS Karawang in developing strategies and policies to increase employee work commitment, so that it can support the achievement of organizational goals optimally.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. to improve the quality of work instruction documentation in order to achieve uniformity, efficiency, and compliance with stringent regulations. Inconsistent documentation quality can lead to operational inefficiencies and increased risk of workplace accidents. Therefore, the company has adopted an approach involving the Business Process Excellence (BPE) department to improve and refine work instruction documentation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including field observations, interviews with relevant sources, and documentation. Primary data were obtained from observations and interviews, while secondary data were sourced from books, journals, and websites. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive-narrative technique. The research findings indicate that the implementation of BPE has successfully enhanced documentation quality through three stages: review and evaluation, development and refinement, and continuous monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of social media in the marketing strategy of PT. Galuh Protank Logistics. The research method used is a survey with a quantitative approach, involving 200 respondents who are customers and service users of PT. Galuh Protank Logistics. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed online. The results show that the use of social media, especially Instagram and LinkedIn, significantly increases brand awareness and customer engagement. In addition, social media has also proven to be effective in reaching a wider market and increasing sales. These findings suggest that PT. Galuh Protank Logistics must continue to optimize marketing strategies through social media to achieve maximum results. This research also provides recommendations for the development of more interesting and interactive content to increase customer engagement.

Abstract

The Relaxation Program in Bintaro Village is a policy to overcome obstacles in building construction permits. The aim of this research is to implement the IMB relaxation policy in Bintaro Village, South Jakarta. In this qualitative research, the South Jakarta Building Licensing Sub-Department and Bintaro Subdistrict demonstrated significant efforts in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the licensing process. Implementation shows significant efforts from the South Jakarta City Administration Building Licensing Department and Bintaro Subdistrict, with certain aspects, such as Communication, Resources and Disposition having become the focus in assessing the success of this policy. Since the implementation of the IMB Relaxation Program in Bintaro Subdistrict, South Jakarta, interview results show a positive impact and effective policy implementation. Effective communication through various outreach activities has increased public understanding. Evaluation of human resources and redistribution of tasks as well as special training have been carried out to deal with the surge in demand for building permits. Although there are challenges regarding levy payments and community concerns about the financial burden, in general, the community accepts levy payments as a reasonable contribution to development. Recommendations for improvement include strategies to reduce administrative and financial burdens, maintaining a balance between development and community financial capacity. Overall, the implementation of the IMB Relaxation Program policy in Bintaro Subdistrict shows positive steps in increasing efficiency, transparency and community involvement in the building permit process.

Abstract

The issue of poverty can be seen as a widespread social phenomenon that impacts various regions and provinces in Indonesia. Poverty can have implications in the fields of health and education. Therefore, various efforts by the government to address poverty-related issues through innovations and policies, one of which is the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), are expected to reduce poverty rates in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to understand and analyze the Effectiveness of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Enhancing Community Welfare in the Village of Watu Lanur, Lamba Leda Selatan District. This study utilizes a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation The identified issues in this study pertain to the amount of assistance received and the perception that the Family Hope Program (PKH) is still not precisely targeted. The research findings indicate that the PKH in the village of Watu Lanur has been able to empower the community, as many people have benefited from the social assistance mandated by government regulations. Based on the effectiveness achieved regarding the implementation of the PKH program in Watu Lanur village, it is evident that the response and efforts of the local government have been commendable, despite some challenges that need to be addressed with solutions.

Abstract

The advent of information technology has precipitated substantial shifts in the manner by which humans interact and conduct transactions, particularly in the context of online transportation services such as Grab. Despite Grab's commendable user experience rating, it remains less popular than Gojek. This study aims to investigate the influence of discount promotions and customer experience on customer loyalty among university students who use Grab in Medan City. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative method. The research sample consisted of 96 respondents selected through purposive sampling from the student population of Grab users in Medan City. Primary data were obtained through direct questionnaire distribution, while secondary data were collected through a literature review. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26 software, which included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, as well as partial, simultaneous, and determination tests. The results demonstrated that a discount promotion has a notable positive impact on customer loyalty, as indicated by a t-count value of 1.995, a sig value of 0.049, and a regression coefficient of 0.176. Additionally, customer experience was found to have a significant positive effect on customer loyalty, with a t-count value of 8,021 and a sig value of 0.000, and a regression coefficient of 0.735. The simultaneous testing demonstrates that discount promotions and customer experience collectively account for 76.2% of customer loyalty, while 23.8% is attributed to other factors not included in this study. This research offers significant insights into the factors influencing customer loyalty in the context of online transportation services.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Knowing the effect of Teacher Pedagogical Competence on Learning Interest of Grade XI Students in the Department of Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, and Fashion Management of SMK Penda 2 Karanganyar. 2) Knowing the effect of Learning Facilities on Learning Interest of grade XI students in the Department of Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, and Clothing Layout of SMK Penda 2 Karanganyar, and 3) Knowing the effect of Teacher Pedagogical Competence and Learning Facilities together (simultaneously) on Learning Interest of grade XI students in the Department of Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, and Clothing Layout of SMK Penda 2 Karanganyar. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population in this study were grade XI students in the TKRO, TMI, and TB Departments of SMK Penda 2. The sampling technique was carried out by simple random sampling with a total sample of 211 students. Data collection was done by observation, questionnaire, and interview. The validity and reliability test technique used in this study used the help of SPSS 25. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the IBM SPSS 25 program. The results showed that: 1) There is a positive and significant effect of teacher pedagogical competence on learning interest. This has been proven by tcount> ttable (1.982> 1.971). From these data it can be said that (H0) is rejected and (H1) is accepted. 2) There is a positive and significant effect of learning facilities on interest in learning. This is evidenced by thitung>ttabel (2.275>1.971). From these data it can be said that (H0) is rejected and (H2) is accepted. 3) There is a positive and significant effect of teacher pedagogical competence and learning facilities together on interest in learning, this is evidenced by Fcount>Ftabel (3.886>2.110) with a significance level of 0.022 <0.05. From these data it can be said that (H0) is rejected and (H3) is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the influence of work motivation on job satisfaction among employees of PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., Tol Probowangi Project Package 1, (2) investigate the impact of work environment on job satisfaction among employees of PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., Tol Probowangi Project Package 1, and (3) assess the combined effect of work motivation and work environment on job satisfaction at PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., Tol Probowangi Project Package 1. The study utilizes a quantitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Simple random sampling is employed for sample selection. Data collection is conducted through distribution of research questionnaires. The research findings indicate that: (1) work motivation has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction among employees of PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., Tol Probowangi Project Package 1, evidenced by t-value > t-table (2.108 > 1.99) and significance level 0.039 < 0.05, (2) work environment has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction among employees of PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., Tol Probowangi Project Package 1, evidenced by t-value > t-table (2.757 > 1.99) and significance level 0.007 < 0.05, and (3) it is found that there is a positive and significant impact from the combination of work motivation and work environment on job satisfaction among employees of PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., Tol Probowangi Project Package 1, as indicated by F-value > F-table (6.898 > 3.12).
