Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Arabic language learning management in order to enhance the language skills of MTs students at STEI Permata. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. The findings indicate that the four core management functions—planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating—have been effectively carried out. The planning function includes coordination, time allocation, development of annual and semester programs, as well as syllabus and lesson plan formulation. The organizing function involves placement tests, scheduling for both regular and special classes, and the assignment of teachers based on their competencies. The implementation is conducted by adapting teaching techniques to students’ language proficiency levels. The evaluation function is carried out by assessing both the process and outcomes of each language skill (maharah). Supporting internal factors include the active participation of special class students in completing assignments, while external factors consist of student placement based on academic ability and teachers’ readiness to adjust learning strategies during the pandemic.

Abstract

The hadith on pursuing the path of knowledge serves as a profound theological and philosophical foundation for the development of Islamic education and the formation of civilization. This study aims to analyze the meaning and relevance of this hadith within the context of prophetic education an educational model that integrates faith, knowledge, and action. The research employs a qualitative library study approach, examining classical and contemporary sources related to Islamic education and prophetic values. The findings reveal that the Hadith positions the pursuit of knowledge as a form of worship with spiritual and social dimensions, functioning as a transformative process toward achieving the ideal human (insan kamil). Prophetic values such as sincerity, perseverance, humility, and moral responsibility serve as the ethical basis for a civilized Islamic education system. Therefore, the hadith on pursuing the path of knowledge is relevant as a paradigm for modern Islamic education that goes beyond knowledge transmission to emphasize character formation and communal well-being. The study recommends further exploration of how prophetic values can be applied in contemporary Islamic educational curricula.

Abstract

In rural areas of Indonesia, such as Nagari Batagak, West Sumatra, limited access to health services emphasizes the need for promotive and preventive interventions. The program aims to increase awareness of regular health check-ups and the prevention of degenerative diseases. The program method was implemented on June 16, 2025, involving 35 elderly people aged 60–80 years in Jorong Sawah Liek, Nagari Batagak, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Activities included basic health checks (blood pressure, blood sugar, Body Mass Index, mid-upper arm circumference), nutritional screening (MNA), sarcopenia screening (SARC-F and handgrip strength), and cognitive screening (MMSE). Health education was provided on healthy aging, nutrition, rational drug use, and sarcopenia prevention. Data analysis was conducted using frequency distribution, univariate, and bivariate analyses. The results showed that the majority of participants were aged 60–70 years (71.4%) and female (82.9%). Obesity was not significantly associated with blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, or uric acid levels. However, older adults without obesity remain at risk for hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and hyperuricemia. Handgrip strength testing showed that 56% of participants experienced muscle weakness, with a slightly higher prevalence in men (60%) than in women (55%). These findings indicate a high risk of sarcopenia, which increases susceptibility to mobility limitations and the risk of falls. Therefore, community-based health screening and education are important regardless of obesity status.

Abstract

This study examines the social and cultural contexts that shape the effectiveness of Aqidah Akhlak learning in Indonesia’s multicultural society, where diverse traditions simultaneously support and challenge the internalization of Islamic values. The research aims to analyze how local culture influences students’ religious understanding, identify the pedagogical challenges teachers face in pluralistic environments, and formulate responsive strategies to strengthen faith and moral education. Using a qualitative literature review method, the study synthesizes findings from books, accredited national journals, and recent international research related to Islamic education, multiculturalism, and contextual learning. The results reveal that local cultural values such as cooperation, respect, and communal harmony reinforce Islamic moral concepts, whereas syncretic practices and mystical beliefs may hinder the development of pure monotheistic understanding. Teachers therefore function as cultural interpreters, role models, and facilitators of contextual learning who bridge Islamic teachings with students’ sociocultural realities. The study concludes that integrating sociocultural awareness, exemplary conduct, and contextual strategies can enhance the relevance and meaningfulness of Aqidah Akhlak learning. Its primary contribution lies in offering a conceptual model that links multicultural pedagogy, contextual teaching, and Islamic moral formation, providing a foundation for developing culturally responsive Islamic education.Bottom of Form

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of improving teacher quality through high-quality professional training to support the implementation of inclusive education in schools. The focus of the study is directed at how systematically designed and sustainable training can improve teacher competency, both in pedagogical, professional, social, and personality aspects, so that they are able to deal with student diversity with a humanistic and adaptive approach. The method used is library research, by reviewing various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, previous research results, and relevant educational policies. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively to obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship between teacher professional training and the implementation of inclusive education. The results show that high-quality professional training plays a significant role in developing teachers who are reflective, innovative, and have high social sensitivity to the needs of diverse students. Furthermore, inclusive education becomes a forum for actualizing teacher professionalism in creating a learning environment that is fair, participatory, and respectful of diversity. Thus, improving teacher quality and the implementation of inclusive education complement each other in realizing an excellent, humanistic, and socially just education system.

Abstract

Rainwater becomes refreshing and safe water for use in daily activities such as bathing and even for consumption through a recycling process. The aim of this study is to analyze the need for clean water, water scarcity and rainwater potential as well as analysis of rainwater utilization with rainwater processing technology. The methods used are the Wet Deposition and Wet & Dry Deposition methods with the Automatic Rain Water Sampler (ARWS). The software used for data processing in this research is Minitab version 21.1. The results of field studies based on data from the Mataram Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency for the NTB region, in the last 3 years, namely 2017, 2018 and 2019, show that the average rainfall in Mataram is 326 mm/year, which means the potential for rainwater to be reuse is huge. Strategic steps are needed to optimize rainwater potential, investment policies in appropriate infrastructure need to be improved, including rainwater collection systems, storage tanks and water treatment technology. Apart from that, the government's role is important in paying attention to legal, regulatory and environmental sustainability aspects in the development and utilization of rainwater resources so that they can be used as a basic ingredient for clean water needs.

Abstract

Public service is one of the main indicators of local government performance in realizing effective governance that is responsive to public needs. However, the quality of public services at the sub-district level still faces several problems, such as complicated procedures, delays in service delivery, and low empathy among civil servants. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on improving the quality of public services in Cisarua District, Sumedang Regency. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verifiable approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 55 respondents consisting of leaders, employees, and public service users in Cisarua District. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, as well as simple linear regression to examine the relationship between transformational leadership (X) and public service quality (Y). The results of this study confirm that the implementation of transformational leadership in Cisarua District encourages civil servants to work more professionally, innovatively, and with a strong focus on public satisfaction. Therefore, it is recommended that the local government strengthen leadership training and development programs that emphasize transformational characteristics to continuously improve the quality of public services.

Abstract

Transparency of public information is an important pillar in the implementation of good governance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of public service transparency policies at the Jaya Mukti Urban Village Office in Dumai City within the framework of implementing good governance principles. This research method uses a literature review by examining various academic sources, government regulations, and empirical studies related to public service transparency at the urban village and sub-district levels in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that, based on the results of the review, transparency is one of the main principles of good governance as regulated in Law No. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure, and is reinforced by its derivative policies such as Regulation of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform No. 15 of 2014 concerning Guidelines for Public Service Standards and Information Commission Regulation No. 1 of 2021. The results of the study indicate that transparency practices at the urban village level, including in Jaya Mukti, still face various obstacles such as limited human resources, minimal use of information technology, and low digital literacy of civil servants. However, several opportunities for strengthening can be optimized through civil servant training, development of digital-based public information systems, and increasing public participation in monitoring public services. Transparency has been proven to play a crucial role in increasing accountability, public trust, and the quality of public administration services.
