Abstract

Purpose: This study focuses on implementing excellent service based on or guided by standard operating procedures by looking at the operational conditions that took place in a specified period. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of excellent service by the front office department to increase satisfaction and assess the level of guest satisfaction with service by implementing excellent service to find out how effectively excellent service is applied in standard operating procedures to create unique and quality services.Methods: This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by comparing the percentage value to determine the difference of each indicator in the applicable standard operating procedure so that data can be presented to conclude. Data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, literature study, and data reduction using a questionnaire.Results and discussion: The results of this study indicate that all front office department employees at Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate And Spa have implemented excellent service in all existing operations by standard operating procedures. Traditional operating systems are designed to facilitate front-office department employees in daily operational processes and as a basis for providing services.Implication: The implementation of excellent service by the front office department at Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate And Spa has been effectively implemented and provides satisfaction according to customer expectations.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine whether or not there is and how much influence workload has on employee performance at the Front Office Department at The Apurva Kempinski Bali.Methods: This research is quantitative, with data collection methods obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This study uses 50 respondents with the technique of proportional stratified random sampling. The data were analyzed using quantitative techniques, namely simple linear regression analysis.Results and discussion: The results of this study indicate that there is a negative and significant influence of workload on employee performance, and the magnitude of the effect of workload on employee performance is 31.1%. Along with hotel development in Bali, competition between accommodations to attract tourists is inevitable. One of the strategies used to win the match is providing quality services resulting from employee performance.Implication: In the Apurva Kempinski Bali, especially in the Front Office Department, employee performance is still not optimal because employees are laid off during the pandemic, which requires employees to work multitasking, which increases the workload of employees.

Abstract

West Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has the potential for business people to develop a form of business. One of the business fields that have significant opportunities is culinary tourism. The coffee shop is a business mushrooming with the increasing trend of coffee shops. This research is tasked with knowing the marketing strategy of Daily Routine Coffee Bandung during the COVID-19 pandemic to increase sales at Daily Routine Coffee. The research method is done using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The unit of analysis used in this final project research is Daily Routine Coffee in Bandung. This business is a business engaged in the F&B sector. The sample will be used in the form of sales trend data and environmental analysis of internal and external company strategies at the Daily Routine Bandung coffee shop. Based on the research results using Marketing Mix Analysis, a suitable strategy to be implemented is an Intensive Strategy (market penetration, market development, and product development). Based on IFAS & EFAS analysis, a value of 3.68 is obtained for external factors, and internal factors is obtained at 3.52. Thus, internal factors are more vital than external factors in the accepted trend. IFAS/EFAS analysis is in quadrant 1 (Grow and Build). Therefore, this describes a very favorable situation

Abstract

Purpose: The purposes of this research were to found out the performance of Guest Service Agent (GSA) in Front Office Department at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali, and to find out the most significant indicators that affect the performance of Guest Service Agent in Front Office Department at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali.Methods: The data collection methods used were literature studies, observations, observation sheets, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques.Results and discussion: The results of the research on the Observation Sheet Hourly Performance Process Form and interviews showed that the overall performance of the Guest Service Agent (GSA) at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali, was considered reasonable by the superiors of Guest Service Agent (GSA), and has met the expected standards but requires continuous supervision and direction. Indicators rated Strong Performance (SP), including Problem Solving and Decision Making, Adaptability/Stress Tolerance, Time Management, Communication, and Customer Relations.Implication: The indicators assessed Key Contributor (K), which includes indicators Contributing to teams and Professional Demeanor. One of the seven indicators considered the most influential to the performance of Guest Service Agents was the Contributing to Teams indicator.

Abstract

Letak Kabupaten Bogor yang berdekatan dengan Ibu Kota Jakarta sangat menguntungkan dalam mengembangkan potensi wisata di daerah tersebut, ditambah dengan beberapa potensi wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Bogor khususnya wisata alam di Telaga Saat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis seberapa besar potensi objek wisata Telaga Saat di Cisarua puncak, Bogor sebagai objek tujuan wisata dan untuk mengetahui kendala pengelolaan objek wisata Telaga Saat di Cisarua Puncak, Bogor. Mengidentifikasi potensi objek wisata Telaga Saat terpenuhi atau belum terpenuhi dengan indikator Daya Tarik Wisata, Aksesibilitas, Akomodasi, Sarana dan Prasarana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan jumlah narasumber sebanyak 4 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi besar potensi wisata Telaga Saat, dapat dilihat bahwa indikator Daya Tarik Wisata telah terpenuhi, indikator Aksesibilitas 3 terpenuhi dan 1 belum terpenuhi, Akomodasi terpenuhi dan juga Sarana dan Prasarana 2 terpenuhi dan 2 belum terpenuhi.

This study aims to determine the influence of work skills and work disciplines both partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees of Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate & Spa and to find out the most dominant variables between work skills and work disciplines in affecting employee performance at Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate & Spa.Methods: The population of this study is the employees of Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate & Spa, which amounts to 83 people. Data collection techniques in this study are through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literature studies—data analysis using quantitative primary data analysis processed using multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 25.0 program.Results and discussion: The results of this study show that there is a partial and simultaneous influence of variable work skills and work disciplines on employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows a value of 0.754, which means that Work Skills and Disciplines contributed to influencing Employee Performance by 75.4%, and the remaining 24.6% was influenced by other factors not studied.Implication: The effective contribution shows that the variable Work Skills has a more significant influence on Employee Performance than Work Discipline at 45.44%.

Abstract

Marketing is one of the activities determining the success of achieving company goals. Digital marketing is emerging as an innovative medium for entrepreneurs. E-commerce is the buying, selling, and marketing of goods and services through electronic systems. GoFood provides opportunities for business actors who want to compete digitally. This study aimed to analyze the effect of using the GoFood application on culinary UMKM in Bekasi. This study uses qualitative and quantitative research methods using primary and secondary data. The indicators used in the GoFood application use variables are ease, attitude, and behavior control. The needle used in the GoFood application's influence variable is usability. This study uses data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data sources were taken from 5 respondents through a purposive sampling technique with the condition that culinary UMKM has used GoFood for over a year. With the results, the average value (mean) of using the GoFood application is 4.12, and the average value (standard) of the effect of the GoFood application is 4.2. Culinary UMKM revenue increased by 26.6% after using GoFood from the previous year. So, it can be concluded that using the GoFood application affects the income of culinary UMKM in Bekasi.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku saku digital marketing homestay sebagai media edukasi kepada pemilik homestay di Desa Wisata Cisaat.Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), akan tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap Development.Implikasi: Adapun hasil penilaian buku saku Digital marketing Homestay yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi oleh ahli materi sebesar 4,8 dan oleh ahli media sebesar 4,27 dengan kesimpulan sangat layak untuk diuji cobakan. Sedangkan pada hasil pada uji coba perorangan diperoleh rata-rata skor 4,4 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dan pada hasil uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh hasil sebesar 4,1 yang termasuk dalam kategori layak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku saku Digital marketing Homestay ini layak digunakan oleh pemilik homestay sebagai media edukasi digital marketing untuk sarana pemasaran homestay. Dengan adanya pengembangan buku saku Digital Marketing Homestay dapat menjadi pedoman pemilik homestay dalam memasarkan homestay secara digital marketing dengan memanfaatkan media sosial agar dapat lebih dikenal oleh calon wisatawan.

Abstract

Tujuan: Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelebihan chef ekspatriat dalam menjaga food cost dan kualitas makanan.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka.Implikasi: Chef ekspatriat memiliki kelebihan seperti standar kerja yang tinggi dan etos kerja yang baik. 8 Upaya yang dilakukan chef ekspatriat dalam menjaga food cost yaitu: 1) kombinasi antara ingredients, 2) teknik penyimpanan yang benar, 3) menghapus menu ala carte, 4) food recycling, 5) penggunaan bahan makanan dan takaran baku yang konsisten, 6) penggunaan transfer form, 7) pembelian bahan makanan yang tidak berlebihan, dan 8) ala minute preparation. 3 Upaya yang dilakukan oleh chef ekspatriat dalam menjaga kualitas makanan yakni mengganti kitchen equipment yang bermasalah, memasang heater untuk memanaskan piring, dan melakukan program training yang tepat kepada staff kitchen.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran flipbook sebagai sumber bacaan tambahan siswa.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation).Implikasi: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran flipbook yang nantinya akan dilihat juga efektifitasnya saat diujicobakan pada murid. Responden penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas 11 SMKN 38 Jakarta Jurusan Akomodasi Perhotelan sebanyak 18 orang secara keseluruhan. Hasil dari penelitian ini, media yang dikembangkan layak digunakan setelah melalui validasi ahli dan uji coba kelayakan pada pengguna. Sebesar 88% didapatkan dari ahli materi dan 100% dari ahli media yang masuk ke dalam kriteria Sangat Layak. Kemudian uji coba kelayakan pengguna sebesar 98% didapatkan dari uji perorangan (one to one) dan 93% didapatkan dari uji kelompok kecil (small group). Sedangkan hasil dari uji efektifitas media flipbook ini dilihat dari nilai pre-test dan post-test siswa-siswi sebelum diberikan media dan sesuai diberikan media. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai dari pre-test dan post-test.
