Abstract

Environmental law is an important instrument in preserving natural resources and ecosystems. However, the implementation of environmental law in Indonesia faces various challenges, ranging from weak supervision to minimal public awareness. This article aims to analyze the obstacles in enforcing environmental law in Indonesia and provide recommendations for sustainable solutions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results show that policy reform, institutional strengthening, and public education are the main keys to increasing the effectiveness of environmental law.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the analysis of education quality mapping of SMP N 3 Singorojo, Kendal Regency. The research approach used is qualitative. This type of research is a case study. This research uses triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis with three steps: data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: mapping the quality of education at SMP N 3 Singorojo, Kendal Regency is very important to understand where the school is in terms of the quality of education. However, critical analysis shows that the approach used in this mapping still has weaknesses, mainly related to an overly large focus on academic outcomes, neglect of innovations in teaching, as well as the inability to narrow down problems in schools. To improve the overall quality of education, a more holistic mapping is needed that focuses not only on outcomes but also on the process of education and includes non-academic aspects that are important for the overall development of students.

Abstract

This research examines the tafsir bil-ma'tsur method in Surah An-Naml Verse 18 and its implications for the concept of leadership in Islam. The selection of this topic is motivated by the importance of understanding the valid interpretation and the relevance of the teachings of the Qur'an in the context of leadership, especially in facing contemporary leadership challenges. The research method used is a literature review with the approach of tafsir bil-ma'tsur, which is the interpretation of the Qur'an based on the history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions. The analysis focused on the interpretation of verse 18 of Surah An-Naml which talks about leadership, as well as its application in the context of managerial and Islamic leadership. The results show that this verse contains leadership principles that include justice, honesty, and wise decision-making, which can be used as guidelines for Muslim leaders in various fields. The implications of this interpretation emphasize the importance of applying Islamic values in effective and responsible leadership practices. This research makes an important contribution to the development of the science of tafsir and leadership management in Islam, as well as a guide for leaders in facing the dynamics of modern society.

Abstract

Organizational culture plays a very important role in shaping employee engagement, especially in the context of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). Employee engagement is one of the main factors that determine the level of productivity and performance of an organization. ASN's work commitment is the connecting factor that links organizational culture with their level of engagement. This study aims to examine how organizational culture can play a role in the formation of employee engagement through ASN work commitment. The results showed that a supportive organizational culture, such as a culture based on open communication, recognition of ASN contributions, and opportunities for growth, can strengthen ASN's work commitment. With high work commitment, ASN engagement in their work increases, which leads to improved organizational performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the Influence of Leadership and Work Discipline on Employee Performance Through Job Satisfaction at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City. The type of research used is quantitative with a survey method. The unit of analysis used is the individual. The collection of basic data used using a survey, the number of samples in this study was 64 respondents. The analysis method used is SEM PLS. The results of the study show that (i). Leadership (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z) at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City, (ii). Work Discipline (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z) at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Gorontalo City, (iii). Leadership (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Gorontalo City, (iv). Work Discipline (X2) has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Gorontalo City, (v). Job Satisfaction (Z) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Gorontalo City, (vi). Leadership (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) with Job Satisfaction (Z) as an intervening variable at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Gorontalo City (vii). Abstract

This study aims to describe the analysis of education quality mapping at SMP N 1 Boja, Kendal Regency. The research approach used is qualitative. This type of research is a case study. This research uses triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis with three steps: data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: Implementation at SMP N 1 Boja Kendal Regency has generally gone well. The independent curriculum is well implemented with good learning and assessment processes. Changes in several components of the curriculum structure of SMP N 1 Boja Kendal Regency appear to provide challenges for teachers in preparing learning tools in accordance with applicable regulations. In the end, the achievement of learning quality is included in the medium category, not as expected. Therefore, further studies and action plans are needed to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and work discipline on employee performance through work motivation at the Regional General Hospital of South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data analysis uses SemPLS analysis using SmartPLS software version 3.0. Data collection from a number of respondents who work at the South Bolaang Mongondow Regional General Hospital through a structured questionnaire. The results of the analysis show that leadership has no significant effect on employee motivation, but leadership has a significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline is proven to have a significant influence on work motivation and employee performance. In addition, work motivation has a significant influence on employee performance. Another important finding is that employee motivation does not mediate the relationship between leadership and employee performance, but acts as a mediator in the relationship between work discipline and employee performance. This study makes theoretical and practical contributions by highlighting the importance of work discipline in improving motivation and performance, and showing that effective leadership can directly affect employee performance without going through motivation.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sekolah yang efektif menjadi elemen fundamental dalam mewujudkan lingkungan belajar yang ideal. Artikel ini membahas strategi dan pendekatan dalam tata kelola sekolah yang berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi dan pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan dalam pengelolaan sekolah guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung keberhasilan siswa dan kesejahteraan tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis berbagai studi terkait. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang visioner, peningkatan kompetensi guru, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan adalah strategi utama untuk mencapai lingkungan belajar yang optimal. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi, inovasi, dan pendekatan berbasis data dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang holistik.

Abstract

Educational leadership plays an important role in human resource management in public schools that implement the national curriculum. This article analyzes how effective leadership affects human resource management, especially in the context of managing teachers as the primary educators. Through a field study of several public schools, this article identifies the challenges faced in implementing the national curriculum as well as strategies that can be applied to improve the quality of teaching and teachers' skills. The findings show that leadership based on good human resource management can improve the quality of education, although major challenges such as lack of continuous training and limited funding remain. The study also suggests that public schools maximize the use of technology in teacher professional development and involve various stakeholders to achieve more optimal educational success.

Abstract

The Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad about the world as a temporary stopover provides an important lesson for Muslims not to be complacent about worldly life. This concept emphasizes that the world is not a place that straightens humans, but rather a means of tests and challenges that can be a source of reward or punishment. This study aims to understand the Islamic view of reward and punishment through the analysis of hadiths that remind humanity not to be lured by worldly pleasures because real happiness is only in the hereafter. Through a qualitative approach with a literature review of hadith sources and scholarly interpretations, this article examines how humans should direct their lives in order to get rewards in the hereafter and avoid the punishment of Allah swt..
