Abstract

In a bid to address poor academic performance among students in Jinja City primary schools, this study looked into how students' academic performance was affected by school leadership styles within the theoretical framework of the Path-Goal theory of leadership. The goals of the study were to: 1) comprehend how the laissez-faire leadership style affects academic performance; 2) examine the authoritarian leadership style; and 3) ascertain how the democratic leadership style affects students' academic performance. Data collection and analysis were done using a cross-sectional survey design that combined quantitative and qualitative research methods. Using simple random and purposeful sampling techniques, 100 participants were chosen from a target population of 300. Through the use of questionnaires and interview guides, data was gathered. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the quantitative data, and descriptive analysis was used to find patterns and trends in the qualitative data. The findings revealed that the laissez-faire leadership style significantly affected students' academic performance by 83%. The authoritarian leadership style accounted for 66.7% of the variation in academic performance, while the democratic leadership style contributed 74.1%. The research emphasized the importance of upholding existing school rules, regulations, and goals to enhance students' academic performance. Recommendations include adopting flexible leadership approaches by school heads, emphasizing school rules and regulations, and recognizing the significance of authority in leadership to boost and sustain academic performance. The research also highlighted the value of open communication, guidance, equitable treatment, and equal opportunities for all stakeholders involved in promoting desired academic outcomes in primary schools. The theoretical implication of this study lies in the demonstration that adaption of different leadership styles can be applicable to educational settings to achieve desired goals. Keywords: Leadership Styles; Academic Performance; Path-Goal theory; Educational Outcomes; School Management; Students

Negative influences like conservatism were identified, while positive factors like motivation, intellect, and emotions facilitated creativity. Effectively managing these factors is vital for enhancing cooperative managers' and administrators' creativity, leading to improved management strategies and innovative solutions. Abstract

The nationally implemented zoning system encourages schools, including private schools, to develop more effective and efficient enrollment methods. SDIT RMK Kuningan adopted Linktree to facilitate access to information and registration of new students online. This research uses the case study method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by triangulation method to ensure the validity of the results. The results showed that although the implementation of Linktree on PPDB at SDIT RMK Kuningan provides easy access to information and registration, this platform has not been able to significantly increase the quantity of new students. Some of the factors that influence this result are ineffective marketing, competition with other schools, suboptimal content and quality of information, school programs and facilities that are still in the development stage, and socio-cultural conditions of the community that are not fully ready for the adoption of online registration systems. Theimportance of a strong marketing strategy, delivery of quality information, and a deep understanding of the socio-cultural conditions of the community in the implementation of educational technology. Abstract

Indonesia has aimed to establish itself as the global hub for Islamic fashion since 2016. Despite producing a significant volume of fashion, particularly in textiles, the country has yet to achieve this goal by 2020. Moreover, the waste generated from fashion production has had adverse effects. To address these challenges and enhance its competitive edge in global Muslim fashion, Indonesia sees fashion sustainability as a crucial solution, offering a more sustainable approach compared to fast fashion. This study focuses on Maison Gadiza's adoption of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) concept to explore how it is implemented. It examines the application of TBL from Islamic perspectives and delves into the challenges and opportunities within the Islamic sustainability fashion business. Using qualitative methods such as interviews, observations, and analysis of Maison Gadiza's documentation, the research reveals that Maison Gadiza integrates the TBL concept with a focus on People, Planet, and transforming Profit into blessings. These blessings hold significant value not only in this world but also in the hereafter, aligning with Islamic values. However, the study identifies challenges stemming from market trends that influence consumer behaviors, such as extensive discount offers and promotional campaigns. On the other hand, Maison Gadiza sees opportunities in the growing awareness among today's youth for eco-friendly products and brands, as well as increasing global support for sustainability initiatives
