Journal of Contemporary Administration and Management (ADMAN) is a scientific journal that focuses on the publication of articles related to the development of the theory and practice of administration and management in a contemporary context. The journal contains articles that cover a wide range of topics, such as business strategy, human resource management, financial management, marketing management, operations management, environmental management, public policy, and so on. Our journal aims to present innovative thoughts and creative solutions in the field of administration and management. In carrying out this objective, the journal publishes scholarly articles that contain original research results and theory development and follow strict academic standards. Journal of Contemporary Administration and Management (ADMAN) is published periodically every four months and is open to the publication of articles from academics, practitioners, and researchers in the field of administration and management. This journal uses a peer-review system in assessing incoming articles and is accredited by a national accreditation agency. Abstract

The current business environment is characterized by rapid and unpredictable changes. Globalization, information technology, regulatory changes, and other economic factors can have a significant impact on organizations. Therefore, organizations need to be able to adapt quickly and effectively to remain competitive in this dynamic market. The purpose of this research is to provide a deeper understanding of the role of knowledge management in assisting organizations in adapting to changes in the business environment. This study employs a qualitative methodology utilizing literature analysis, indicating an exploration and elucidation of information and content derived from diverse documents and texts to form the foundation for analysis. The study results indicate that in the era of globalization and technological advancement, knowledge management is crucial for organizational adaptation to changes in the business environment. This involves the collection, storage, and distribution of knowledge throughout the organization, playing a central role in identifying business trends and supporting internal collaboration. Knowledge management is also essential in understanding customer needs and industry trends, enabling the development of relevant products. Collaboration with business partners through knowledge exchange can strengthen partnerships. To strategically integrate knowledge management, organizations need to build a culture of learning and knowledge sharing, with policies and investments in information technology as key factors for the success of this strategy.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and intensifying business competition, business organizations are faced with the challenge of continuously improving their performance to survive and thrive. One key factor in achieving this goal is through the optimization of organizational performance. Education and knowledge management have been recognized as two crucial components that can play a strategic role in enhancing the competitiveness of an organization. This research aims to identify innovative business organization strategies to optimize their performance amidst the challenges and opportunities present in the current business environment. The research employs a qualitative approach involving the analysis of literature. It encompasses the exploration and clarification of information and content gathered from various documents and texts to establish the groundwork for analysis. The study's findings indicate that in a dynamic business environment, the synergy between education and knowledge management is key to optimizing organizational performance. Education creates a skilled workforce and a learning culture, while knowledge management ensures effective access and utilization of knowledge. The combination of continuous education, skills training, and leadership development creates an environment where employees can be responsive to market demands. Effective knowledge management facilitates collaboration and the exchange of ideas, providing the foundation for implementing innovation in a rapidly changing business landscape.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the electronics industry in the era of globalization demands the availability of high-quality Human Resources (HR) ready to compete in the job market. Graduates from vocational programs, with a focus on technical skills, play a vital role in supplying the workforce needs in this industry. However, the success of vocational graduates' careers is not solely determined by technical competence. This research aims to analyze psychological capital in assessing the career feasibility of vocational graduates as human resource suppliers in the electronics industry. The approach encompasses an in-depth examination of relevant literature employing qualitative analysis, aiming to gain a comprehensive insight into the topic from 2004 to 2023. The study results indicate that in assessing the career feasibility of vocational graduates as human resource suppliers in the electronics industry, it is essential to emphasize that interpersonal skills, autonomy, self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and leadership abilities play a crucial role. The dynamic electronics industry requires individuals with strong technical skills as well as the ability to adapt, collaborate within teams, and possess good emotional intelligence. Therefore, it is crucial not to solely assess technical qualifications when evaluating vocational graduates. Vocational education should pay more attention to the early development of psychological skills so that graduates are prepared to face various challenges in the ever-evolving professional world.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly changed the business landscape, creating new challenges as well as opportunities for companies. In this digital era, companies are not only faced with increasingly fierce global competition but also have to face pressure to continuously adapt to the latest technological developments. Thus, this study aims to investigate the best strategies to optimise HR capacity to drive adoption of the latest technology and trigger business innovation. The method involved a thorough exploration of the literature using qualitative analysis, with a view to gaining a thorough understanding of the topic from 2012 to 2023. The study results show that in the face of the dynamics of the digital era, it is important for companies to continuously adapt and optimise their human resource (HR) capacity in order to meet the challenges of business transformation triggered by technological advancements. HR needs to not only be skilled in mastering technology, but also have high innovation capabilities. Innovation is not just an optional strategy, but an urgent need to maintain relevance and competitiveness in an ever-evolving market. The results show that training and development is key to improving HR capacity, especially through structured training programmes that focus on technology skills. The challenge of change resistance needs to be overcome through effective change management and full support from leadership in shaping a culture of innovation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine investment decisions based on financial literature, minimum capital and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). This research uses quantitative research with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to members of the trader group community. Using a purposive sampling technique, the sample taken in this research was 100 investor group members. The data analysis method in this research uses Smart Partial Least Square version 4.0 The results of this research show that Financial Literature has a significant influence on Investment Decisions, Minimum Capital does not significantly influence Investment Decisions and Fear of Missing Out has an influence on Investment Decisions.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and intensifying business competition, an organization's ability to innovate has become crucial for its sustainability and business continuity. Entrepreneurial management has emerged as a vital approach in navigating rapidly changing market dynamics. This research aims to analyze the relationship between the dynamics of transformational leadership and the level of innovation in the context of entrepreneurial management. The study employed an in-depth literature examination using qualitative analysis, intending to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter spanning the years 1990 to 2023. The results of the study indicate that the dynamics of transformational leadership have proven to be a driving force for innovation in the domain of entrepreneurial management. Transformational leadership, through its ability to provide inspiration, motivation, and guidance to teams, creates an environment that fosters creativity and experimentation. This is not only related to achieving current goals but also to shaping the future of the organization through the development of new and talented leadership.

Abstract

In the last few decades, the advancement of information technology, especially in the field of social media, has created a new paradigm in the business world. Social media has evolved beyond being merely a tool for social interaction; it has become an integral part of corporate business strategies. This shift has given rise to a dynamic, competitive, and constantly changing business environment. This research aims to provide practical guidance for corporate leaders in navigating the challenges of business in this digital era while leveraging the opportunities presented by social media to achieve sustainable competitive advantages. The study employs an in-depth literature review with qualitative analysis, spanning the years 2014 to 2023. The information sources for this literature review were sourced from Google Scholar to ensure the currency and accuracy of the accessed data. The study's findings indicate that in optimizing business management strategies in the social media era, critical factors such as customer interaction on digital platforms, operational changes, and corporate culture should be considered. By harnessing digital-based excellence, companies can explore new opportunities, enhance efficiency, and respond more rapidly to market changes. Strengthening online reputation, consumer data analysis, product innovation, online reputation risk management, internal transformation, team collaboration, and fostering an innovative culture are key elements in the concept of optimizing business management strategies in the social media era. The combination of these external and internal aspects establishes a solid foundation for long-term growth and success.

Abstract

Ecotourism is a crucial segment in the rapidly growing tourism industry. Despite being considered a sustainable solution, uncontrolled development can have negative impacts on the environment. This research aims to analyze the legal challenges in the development of ecotourism as part of the tourism business. The study employed a comprehensive literature review utilizing qualitative analysis to gain a thorough understanding of the topic spanning from 1972 to 2023. The findings indicate that the development of ecotourism as part of the tourism business faces several legal challenges. The Tourism Law Number 10 of 2009 serves as the primary foundation, but its implementation in ecotourism raises issues such as the misalignment of business interests and environmental preservation, insufficient participation of local communities, and suboptimal natural resource management. The sustainability of ecotourism requires synergy between the development of tourism business and environmental preservation. There is a need for enhanced regulatory implementation by strengthening community participation in decision-making and increasing their understanding of the economic and environmental benefits of ecotourism.

Abstract

Construction services companies, as an integral part of the construction sector, face significant challenges in coping with rapidly changing business environments. In the face of this uncertainty, business transformation becomes a necessity to ensure the sustainability and success of the company. This research aims to explore the relationship between business transformation, dynamic capabilities, technological innovation, and competitive advantage in construction services companies. The research utilized an extensive examination of existing literature employing qualitative analysis to acquire a comprehensive insight into the subject, covering the period from 1991 to 2023. The study results indicate that in the era of globalization and business dynamics, business transformation is crucial for construction services companies. The Resource-Based View (RBV) approach emphasizes the importance of internal resources and capabilities such as technical skills, managerial skills, innovation, and rapid adaptation to changes. The implementation of technologies such as BIM, IoT, and AI is key to enhancing efficiency and expanding interactions with customers. Successful transformation requires a focus on the development of unique resources and capabilities, rapid adaptation to market and technological changes, and customer engagement by understanding their needs and providing excellent services.

Abstract

The background of this research revolves around the need to understand the complex relationship between Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR), zakat, Shariah Governance (SG), and Shariah Compliance (SC) in the context of financial institutions, particularly Islamic banks. This study adopts a holistic framework to explore their interconnected impacts on the financial health of Islamic banks. The research utilized a comprehensive literature review with qualitative analysis, aiming to gain a thorough understanding of the subject from 2010 to 2023. The findings indicate that in the face of business complexity and global market dynamics, Islamic banks need to implement concepts such as Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR), Zakat, Shariah Governance (SG), and Shariah Compliance (SC). The holistic integration of these principles can have a significantly positive impact on the financial health of Islamic banks. GCG provides a robust foundation for risk management and transparency, ICSR enriches the social and environmental dimensions, Zakat plays a crucial role in wealth redistribution and community economic empowerment, while SG and SC ensure adherence to Shariah principles and maintain the integrity of financial institutions. By effectively applying these concepts, Islamic banks can strengthen their position in facing market challenges and enhance their contributions to sustainable economic development.
