Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of employee work discipline at the Lembang Sikuku Office, Kapala Pitu District, North Toraja Regency. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, the focus of the study was explored based on three main dimensions: attendance, work attitudes and behavior, and organizational responsibility. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six key informants, participatory observation, and documentary analysis, and were subsequently analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicate that employee work discipline is generally in a fairly good category, although it is still influenced by cultural flexibility. Regarding attendance, daily compliance is adequate, even though lateness and absenteeism still occur due to community activity preferences, family role conflicts, and health reasons. In terms of attitudes and behavior, employees demonstrate good compliance with leadership instructions and internal regulations, despite experiencing routine work fatigue. Regarding responsibility, main duties and public service functions are executed according to operational procedures, supported by harmonious interpersonal coordination. This study concludes that enforcing discipline in village governance requires a shift from paternalistic administrative control toward a consistent reward-and-punishment system to optimize public service quality.

Abstract

Increasing competition in the vehicle rental service industry requires companies to focus not only on acquiring new customers but also on retaining existing ones through sustainable relationship management. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has become a strategic approach that enables organizations to establish long-term customer relationships by improving service quality, communication, and technology utilization. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Customer Relationship Management in developing customer loyalty at PT AS Mandiri by emphasizing the three core dimensions of CRM, namely people, process, and technology. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving the company owner, operational employees, and customers as research informants. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing supported by source and technique triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings reveal that the people dimension is reflected in friendly services, effective interpersonal communication, employee responsiveness, and professional conduct. The process dimension is implemented through a simple reservation system, prompt service delivery, effective complaint handling, and continuous post-service communication. Meanwhile, the technology dimension is supported by the utilization of WhatsApp, telephone communication, social media platforms, and customer data management to facilitate service interactions. The integration of these three dimensions enhances customer trust, satisfaction, repeat purchases, and positive word-of-mouth recommendations. This study demonstrates that a comprehensive CRM strategy plays a significant role in strengthening customer loyalty and improving the competitiveness of vehicle rental service providers.

Abstract

This study examines the association between RATER-based service-quality perceptions and net operating cash flow at Ancyra by Continent Poso. A quantitative explanatory design used questionnaire data from 100 hotel guests and operating cash-flow data aggregated into 12 periods. Questionnaire responses were used to describe respondents and assess the instrument, whereas inferential analysis used 12 period-level pairs of aggregate RATER scores and net cash. The seven-item instrument showed item-total correlations of 0.310–0.485 and high internal consistency (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.882). Mean indicator scores ranged from 4.51 to 4.67, and all 12 periods recorded positive net operating cash flow. At N = 12, correlations between individual RATER indicators and net cash were positive but not statistically significant. Simple regression produced R = 0.300, R² = 0.090, adjusted R² = −0.001, F(1,10) = 0.989, and p = 0.343; therefore, H1 was not supported. The findings describe favorable service-quality perceptions and positive operating cash flow but do not provide sufficient statistical evidence of a consistent association between the two variables. The study contributes methodologically by aligning individual customer data with organization-level financial data and highlights the need for longer longitudinal series and relevant operational controls.

Abstract

This research examines how Return on Assets (ROA) and Price to Book Value (PBV) relate to the stock price of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. across 2020–2024, adopting a quantitative, explanatory-research design. Secondary data were gathered from the company’s quarterly financial reports and closing share prices over the same period, producing 20 quarterly observations. Statistical processing combined descriptive analysis, classical assumption checks, multiple linear regression, partial (t) and simultaneous (F) hypothesis tests, and the coefficient of determination, all computed in SPSS 25. Findings indicate that ROA’s partial effect on stock price was negative and statistically insignificant (sig. = 0.800), whereas PBV showed a positive but likewise insignificant partial effect (sig. = 0.306). When tested together, ROA and PBV did not significantly affect stock price (sig. = 0.577), and their combined R Square of 0.063 means they account for merely 6.3 percent of the variance in stock price, leaving 93.7 percent explained by factors beyond the model. Overall, the evidence indicates ROA and PBV played only a minor role in shaping BNI’s share-price movement during the study period, implying that investors evaluating banking stocks should weigh additional financial ratios and macroeconomic conditions rather than relying on these two indicators alone.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of work stress on the psychological well-being of medical personnel, with work-life balance as a mediating variable and resilience as a moderating variable. The study was motivated by the high work demands experienced by medical personnel, which may reduce psychological well-being. A quantitative explanatory design was employed. The sample consisted of 133 medical personnel at Primaya Hospital Pangkalpinang selected through proportional probability sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that work stress has a significant negative effect on both psychological well-being and work-life balance. Work-life balance has a significant positive effect on psychological well-being and mediates the relationship between work stress and psychological well-being. Although resilience has a significant positive effect on psychological well-being, it does not moderate the relationship between work stress and psychological well-being. These findings suggest that resilience functions as a direct psychological resource rather than as a buffering factor against work stress. The study implies that improving the psychological well-being of medical personnel should focus on reducing work stress, strengthening work-life balance, and enhancing resilience as a psychological resource.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the contribution of Technological Tools and Environmental Conditions to the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based digital transformation process at PT. Asuransi Sinarmas. Global and national trends indicate high AI adoption in the workplace; however, the failure rate for organizational digitalization remains high. Meanwhile, scholarly literature regarding AI implementation specifically within Indonesia's insurance sector remains relatively limited. This deductive quantitative study employs a cross-sectional survey strategy, adapting the "Technology" and "Environment" dimensions of the TOE (Technology-Organization-Environment) framework. A sample of 52 operational partners was selected via purposive sampling based on Slovin's formula. Data processing involved descriptive statistics, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, as well as t-tests and F-tests using SPSS software. The findings indicate that, individually, the Technological Tools variable has a positive and significant effect on AI-based digital transformation (tcount = 4,962; Sig. = 0,000). Conversely, Environmental Conditions do not have a significant individual effect (tcount = 0,834; Sig. 0,408). However, when considered simultaneously, Technological Tools and Environmental Conditions exert a positive and significant influence on AI-based digital transformation (Fcount = 15,560; Sig. = 0,000), with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 37,9%. The study's novelty lies in its specific application of the TOE framework's Technology and Environment dimensions to analyze AI-driven digital transformation within the context of the national insurance industry.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between mobile device usage, employee productivity, employer expectations and work-life conflict in a non-governmental organization operating in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Device usage is separated into three domains: work-related use at the office, work-related use at home, and personal use during office hours. Job satisfaction and flexibility in work structure are treated as further antecedents, while productivity and employer expectations act as mediating constructs. Primary data were obtained from all 160 full-time employees of the organization through an online questionnaire distributed between March and May 2024, and the eleven hypothesised paths were tested with partial least squares structural equation modelling in SmartPLS 4. Four hypotheses were supported. Work-related device use at home is positively related to productivity and to employer expectations, personal use during office hours is negatively related to employer expectations, and employer expectations are strongly and positively related to work-life conflict. Flexibility in work structure, contrary to the hypothesis, is negatively related to employer expectations. Work-life conflict in this organization therefore appears to be driven less by the device than by the expectations that surround its use.

Abstract

Academic libraries remain important learning and information environments, yet the attractiveness of a library depends partly on whether its facilities match users' academic and non-academic information needs. This study examines the effect of library facilities on students' intention to visit the library at the Indonesian Aviation Academy Banyuwangi. A quantitative descriptive design was applied to the entire population of 98 students using census sampling. Data were collected through a four-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed with validity and reliability tests, descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, and a partial t-test using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The instruments were reliable, with Cronbach's alpha values of 0.951 for library facilities and 0.957 for visit intention. The regression equation was Y = 9.549 + 0.523X. Library facilities had a positive and statistically significant effect on visit intention (t = 5.883; p < .001). The findings indicate that comfortable learning spaces, relevant collections, supporting infrastructure, and accessible services can strengthen students' willingness to use the library for academic and non-academic information seeking. The academy should therefore prioritize sustained improvement of facilities and collections while maintaining user-oriented services.
