Abstract

Language has a close relationship with culture, so that language learning often uses cultural content as a learning medium. Therefore this study aims to analyze the cultural content in textbooks for learning Turkish and its relation as a medium of learning between Turkish languages. This study is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The source of the data in this study was the textbook for learning Turkish, namely "Istanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı". Data were collected by observing the content in the book. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman qualitative analysis model: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The findings in this study lead to the conclusion that cultural content is a crucial and inseparable part of the substance of the book "Istanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı" as a Turkish language textbook. At this level, the cultural content has two functions at once: bridging understanding related to Turkish grammar and representing the cultural identity of the Turkish people to international students.

Abstract

The issues faced by early childhood education or PAUD dealing with the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is the teachers’ readiness in implementing the Merdeka curriculum. The purpose of this research is to assist PAUD teachers in preparing for the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum. The research method used in this study was qualitative descriptive, that is, concerning the real condition of six teachers at one PAUD school in Surabaya. The data were gathered by using interviews and observations of the head of school, curriculum representatives, and all teachers for guidelines for interviews that have been validated by three validators. The data analysis was done using an interactive model by Miles and Huberman, which consists of four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study showed that the Merdeka curriculum has already been implemented in PAUD, but it requires some improvement and development since the Merdeka curriculum only begins the first year at PAUD. Therefore, there is little research on the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, so it is recommended to undertake further in-depth research into the application of the Merdeka curriculum at the next level of school.

And realizing this goal is not easy so it requires a process and cooperation from various parties, including PAI teachers who have their homework related to moral degradation that is increasingly becoming. Especially in this era where technological sophistication has advanced so rapidly that social media has emerged. So it takes a more interesting packaging of material from PAI teachers to students in the learning process to hit the heart so that the hope can be applied in everyday life. So the purpose of this study is to describe the role of social media for PAI teachers in the student learning process at school. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach, data collected from various relevant sources, and then concluded. The results showed that social media became a separate innovation for PAI teachers during the learning process with students, especially in the current era, and it acts as a means of learning from several sources, as a means of administrative documentation and integration, then as a means of planning both strategically and management and finally as a means of control that includes evaluation and measurement. And with all of that, learners will easily absorb information, develop their potential, and be able to learn.
