Abstract

Objective: Internships in higher education are vital for students' practical experience and skill development, with satisfaction being a key measure of success. Job challenge and role clarity significantly influence internship satisfaction. Job challenge enhances engagement and creativity, while role clarity reduces confusion, allowing students to focus on learning. Innovative work behavior, involving the initiation and implementation of new ideas, mediates this relationship, benefiting both the organization and students' sense of accomplishment. Together, these factors critically shape students' internship satisfaction. Method: The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The collected survey data is then analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS software. Results: The research indicates that **innovative work behavior** does not significantly affect internship satisfaction. **Job challenge** positively influences innovative behavior but has no significant impact on satisfaction. **Role clarity** does not directly affect innovative behavior but positively influences satisfaction. Neither job challenge nor role clarity significantly affects satisfaction through the mediation of innovative work behavior. Novelty: This research not only examines the direct influence of job challenge and role clarity on internship satisfaction, but also explores how students' innovative behaviors-such as the ability to initiate, implement, and adapt new ideas-can mediate the relationship.

Based on this focus, the formulation of the problem in this study is how the profile of caring and responsible characters of inclusive students in high school. The substance of this study focuses on describing the caring and responsible characters of inclusive students and the factors that influence the caring and responsible characters of inclusive students. Method: The research method used is descriptive and does not conduct hypothesis testing with a sample of 3 teachers, namely 1 GPK teacher, 1 BK teacher, 1 subject teacher, 1 non-inclusive student, and 2 inclusive students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, where each sample was taken from a representative level of inclusive participants. Data collection was carried out at Public Senior High School 1 (SMAN 1) Gedangan, East Java. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and observations whose data results would be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Results: The results of the data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that 1) the caring and responsible character of inclusive students is low and because the social character of inclusive students is also low. 2) Students' self-confidence is low because they feel alone at school and do not have friends who understand them. 3) Some teachers sometimes pay less attention to inclusive students when teaching and focus more on regular students. 4) Regular friends in class sometimes still underestimate and do not embrace inclusive friends. Novelty: What is new in this study is the focus on inclusive students at the high school level, integrating the analysis of two main characters, namely caring and responsibility, in one comprehensive study, and considering the specific context of inclusive schools at the high school level and providing insight into how caring and responsible characters develop in diverse environments. This is important because the dynamics and challenges in inclusive schools are different from regular schools.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this study is to explore and validate the self-image of parents at SPS Sri Lestari Lamongan, specifically examining how parental self-image influences their perceptions and decisions to enroll their children early in order to support early childhood independence. Method: The methodology employed is a qualitative research approach, utilizing a case study design to obtain in-depth and descriptive data. Data collection was conducted through interviews and observations with parents whose children attend SPS Sri Lestari, allowing for a comprehensive narrative analysis of their experiences and perspectives. Results: The results indicate that parents at SPS Sri Lestari possess a positive self-image, both personally and toward the institution, which significantly influences their educational choices. This positive self-image shapes their perception of the importance of early education and motivates them to support their children's independence from a young age. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its focus on parental self-image as a critical yet underexplored factor in educational decision-making for early childhood. Unlike previous research that primarily addresses parenting styles, parental involvement, or social support, this study highlights the direct impact of parents' self-perceptions on their choices to foster their children's independence through early education. These findings contribute new theoretical insights into the psychological dimensions that underpin parental decisions in early childhood education settings.
